Recreate These Spicy Fried Plantains – ‘ Kelewele’ & Stand a Chance to Win a Fine-Dining Experience for 2 at Yellow Chilli Restaurant!

Nigerian foodies, get in here! Are you planning to fry plantains any time soon? Why not win a prize for your plantains? Every month, The Village Pot would be giving out delicious food prizes to their readers for simply recreating one of their recipes.

This May, the select recipe is Kelewele, a spicy Ghanaian version of fried plantains (Dodo, in Yoruba) and it’s a universal hit. The blog: www.thevillagepot.com, has the easy peasy recipe.

Last month, you asked them to “up” their prizes and they listened! Now, the prizes are bigger and much better. They have also made it much easier to participate, by keeping it open to all Twitter and Instagram users in Lagos. Only entries on these 2 social media platforms will be eligible.

Guidelines:

• Take a tantalizing photo of your Kelewele (spicy fried plantains) and share it on Instagram (@thevillagepot) or Twitter (@TheVillagePot). You have to include the tag #recreatethis for them to receive your entry.
• Give it your best shot! Their judges are looking for aesthetic appeal.
• Post your photo before 23:59 (WAT) on Saturday May 23rd, 2015
