Three of Nigeria’s biggest entertainers, MI, Reekardo Banks and veteran showbiz anchor, Gbenga Adeyinka gave an impressive account of themselves at the just-concluded Glo Ojude Oba music concert as they left thousands of  fun-seekers asking for more at the show which spanned five hours.

Globacom, reputed for delivering great entertainment concerts, packaged the event which held at the Equity Hotel Music Arena in the ancient town, in continuation of the main Ojude Oba Festival parade which it  sponsored.

The event held last Wednesday at the Ojude Oba Parade Ground with thousands of dignitaries including four serving state governors in attendance.

The guests apparently got more than they expected as the evening which  started slowly quickly built into a crescendo that got the crowd yelling and ululating out of excitement.

Small Doctor, new Fuji sensation, reeled out his  popular songs in quick succession to the extreme delight of the crowd which joined him to sing along as he rendered Mosquito killer, Uzobu, Gbagaun and Ile Ijo.

Reekardo Banks, showed why he has joined the big league of Nigerian entertainers. The artiste, who was sparsely known barely two years ago, left no one in doubt that he has truly come of age. He dished out  popular tracks from his rich repertoire including Katapot, Sugar Boy, Chop Am, Oluwa Ni (rated as one of the biggest Nigerian songs in the last three months), and Na ur Boy. The excited youth pulsated with passion as they danced and sang along with their idol, while several of them wielded their android phones to freeze the moments for later enjoyment.

African Rapper Number One known also as “Mr Incredible”  MI may not boast of new hit songs but he convinced his fans that  music, like wine, matures with age. The crowd literally exploded in ecstasy when he performed his all time hit songs such as African Rapper Number 1, Bullion Van, Oshe, N1, Chairman among others.
