Let’s remember that this feature is about appreciating an individual’s expression through clothing!
I look forward to your My Style Submissions!
Bella Naija reader, Patrick Nwosu prides in his ability to constantly take style risks with his bold fashion choices!
PATRICK’S STYLE:
My style originates from my ablility to express my personality with emerging trends along side classics/vintage clothing. It involves merging different looks from the past and the present to give you the future…which explains why I’m fashion forward!! LOL. I derive joy in looking different and making heads turn hence the reason why my everyday wardrobe consists of loud/laid back accessories, bright/dull coloured clothes, scarves, ties, belts, shoes and a lot more. I go for clothes that are lmited in stock(won’t be caught wearing the exact same thing with someone else in an event) and I’m also particular about the fitting/tailoring, quality and sometimes brand name.
WHY I LOVE MY STYLE:
My style is very futuristic, provocative, bold and contageous, and thats why I love it. It would leave you with an impression about me and hopefully would inspire you to get a similar look. On my facebook profile “Brandon Nwosu”, friends/strangers sometimes inquire where I purchased my clothes from. Its a good feeling that encourages you to keep on dishing the crisp look 24-7.
HOW IT EXPRESSES PATRICK’S PERSONLITY:
I can go on and on about this…I’m slightly carefree and refuse to give room to negative comments concerning my style! I live a very happy life and it refllects on my clothing when I’m heading out. I’m a very fun person, confident and laid back and yes I have my own insecurities too!!
PATRICK’S STYLE PHILOSOPHY:
In order to stand out, your style has to be tempered with eccentricity so that it incoperates your own personality, hence the reason why I always dare to be different and edgy! So basically dont be afraid to experiment with recent/classic trends because you dont want to end up in the worst dressed-list.

interesting. wouldn’t like my man dressed like this tho, a lil’ too vain for my liking
You are right Brandon. Your styles are very fashion forward and leaves an impression on people. I’ve seen you at several events and I really like your style. You always stand out and never blend in with the crowd. I will call you up for some fashion tips sometime
style is innate…its either uve got it or u dont…no fuzz about it…dis dude sure doz av style…tres haute…
bobo, u are just too much. Wow, i can say u do put a lot time and money into fashion. lemme put my hatorade down for a minute but i like ur getups. u are creative especially the fusion with the ankara
bobo, u are just too much. Wow, i can say u do put a lot time and money into fashion. lemme put my hatorade down for a minute but i like ur getups.
looks like Mr.Nwosu has got some style, and I gotta say that sometimes, the safest way is to follow the trend (or not). the eyebrow cuts on the bishop collar photo, the details make it cool
ps. if i’m to give any remark per se, i think the baseball caps do not do his style justice.
What a guy!! I like those Man-Trinkets…hehe. Ok, lose the baller hat & stick with this whole lacoste look you’ve got going on! I particularly like that navy blue jacket (not necessarily with beige pants – but it works). And the white shirt with green shorts was interesting too. There’s something about a man brave enough to don shorts that come above the knee!
Not bad, but def. not my kind of guy…. I dont see myself hanging with a dude soo colorful and that had almost the same numba of shoes like moi ( heck, dats just too much for me to handle). Overall, i think he’s hot and unique. The pics look “staged” though, would have been nicer to see a pic from a “regular” day. kudos BN
YET ANODA SHOW STOPPER…bella naija d style keeps getn betta…for me him and funfere are tied on best dressd(althou dey wud both hate to b compared)but brandon has got his style on lock down
mehn the louis vuitton bag is fake..louis vuitton belts are fake and the hermes belt is fake…
Lord take the wheel!!!
I agree… I liked the pic with the purple pants by the pool though.
I see you brandon. You better get it…..
I love the way Patrick wears colour, he’s taking tough risks and getting it right every time. The shorts and ankara trousers were trés cool. Would definitely want to have someone like him around when I have a big night out.
MY FRIENNNDD OO brandon i told you your page would be too mad lol you know who this is! too proud of you, have always loved your style very fashion forward and eccentric, sha when your coming back dont forget to shop for me lol.proud of you..B
he is obviously trendy no doubt about that..the truth is that living outside this country gives one the liberty to dress as colorful as one would like..( esp. guys ) cos really nobody cares if a guy wears an orange pants or pink even..but if its in nigeria….una know na…anyways this guys has a trendy sense of style…but as per the comment he made about mohawk being so 2000..i dont agree with him..but i can see mohawk can neva be for him since he is bald..the fact he cant wear a mohawk dont mean he should diss the style..be true to urself ok
Verry verry creative, i just love his ankare trouser, cummerbund and ankara bowtie…. too much swagger too popping… one word! swagerlicious
i like the ankara pants and bowtie…
me too, being wit a dude dat has more accesories and shoes than me feels a bit odd…
all these children with plenty of time and excess money, una own beta… who get this kind time for here? sha people dey wey get time like dis…
LOL..the boyz are taking over on BN ooo….Ladies, step it up!
Good job Patrick!
lovely style! suits him n he is very confident with the colours! however, I love me some traditional men! little accessories and darker colours on the whole
I agree………..
LOL…yea, he seems vain no doubt!!… orange shorts ke??!!… A lil’ too much for me…
i absolutely love to c a man who is not afraid of colour and his own personal style…..i wld really hv fun stylin u just for a day……
This is nice, very real and modern.he understands that style isnt all about splashing millions on designers, you can as well go highstreet and still be on top.As you can see ,we can save as much money on wears and just go high street for those of us who cant afford bruno banini, alberti ferreti, hermes etc.toshop,h $ m,riverisland and others are much cheaper.its not just the clothe but the person wearing it.This is outstanding, keep it up nwosu.
I agree. It seems forced.
Vain? Omg, you people act like looking good is a crime. Numerous women complain about men not being “fresh” or “well kept” but when Brandon does it, it’s too much. Get off that! The world is a dark and cruel place these days. The fact that a guy can put that behind him and embrace the styles and colours of life is beautiful. Dude looks good, don’t hate.
bNs
Brandon my dear, you are one stylish young man. I’m definitely inspired.Keep it up.
yea…we waitin for the clothing line!!!
ermmmm dnt knw bout dis style seriously, wen did guys start dressin like dis? wellllllllllllllllllll i guess ur style is unique but id neva date a guy dat dresses like u n uses more colour dan i do bt im guessin ur young, i dnt see a 30yr old man dressin like dis……as 4 d bags…r u kidding me? guys carry those out? like seriously?
he’s nothing if not brave but I think his style is kind of vulgar really. I mean whats with all the “logo” belts, I think thats rather naff and chavvy . He makes a statement though which is more than can be said for most men.
a bit too much for me…but he rocks it with confidence sa!
Oyinna, r u based in Houston? If yes, howdy.
lmao @ obi..u think wearing logo belts is chavvy? well im sure ur girlfriend understands, if you cant afford it….u obviously know nothing about fashion hence the reason ur choice of words…@ chinny, about the bags….you probably dont know they r called duffel bags, specifically made 4 men for travel purposes, sports etc..@ any1 else still talkin about colours!! its 2009 y’ll step outta tha past, life is too beautiful for any1 to be stuck with wearing dull colours, hence y high street fashion stores nd designers have provided men with a vast range of coloured clothes nd shoes to pick from..
well if this is the futuristic look, then Im afraid there’s not much to look forward to..
timid he OBVIOUSLY is not.
good for him!
hmmmmm Patrick, I quite like the bow tie brooch concept and will be borrowing it soon. The double bow tie one is even cooler
his style is tooooooooooooooo extreme for me.looks like he borrowed the navy blue blazer from his gf’s closet!!
… i however, like the fact that a naija guy can dress in loud color and style without giving two abt what our fellow naija pple think!!
lmao…una don turn bella’s page to facebook wall o!!
ok brandon/patrick dont forget to buy baffs for her/him when coming back oooooooo
awww look at my bro doing it big as always…remain small for me to fap those duffel bags when i saw u ..lol…we can like to go shopping together…love ya!
the green shorts ….. white blazer hot mehn
Personally, I am all about colour and if a man can rock it too without any problems I say go for it!!!
Be bold and stand out…why dress like everyone else??? BORING!!!!
Continue as you mean to go on Patrick!!!
too zesty for my taste but it works for him.
C’mon shurrup!!! Bad belle somebody! Would you like to expalin to us how you know it’s fake? smh
Dude’s style is very much on point though..I like!
there’s no denying the boy has style. most men have no clue what to do with colors but this guy is not afraid to embrace it. it’s refreshing to see someone who does not dress like they are on their way to on to an office job all the time. fashion is self-expression. have some fun with it.
Very trendy………………..for a young guy like u.
i have a little piece of advice though…remove or crop the pix you took with sweetpea, the other chic and guy, because i dont think you took any permission b4 uploading lol.
k dis dude has crius style..very different nd d colour combination is great..wldn ova do d bow tie dou..bt he luks gud still…
well i dont expect everyone to adopt my style…keep it moving…
Like seriously…are you responding to comments and being so defensive? That’s childish. We all don’t have to like your style. It might be a lil bit too edge but its your style and you can keep it moving as well…
dude u need to chill out men not everyone has to like ur style. u don’t need to be getting defensive and attacking people just cos they don’t fancy your style its not by force now!!!!
i happen to have issues wiv guys whose pants are as tight as mine, or whose colors are brighter than mine, and it has nothing to do wiv money….i like designer apparel too i just dont think the world has to know dat my belt is gucci or hermes, cos at the end of the day who really cares
i know right..bella im sorry!!
…this dude is replying?ok so i dont have a problem with him defending his style ,but his choice of words….”you probably dont know they r called duffel bags” are you f***** kidding me? this is so High School..Patrick not everyone has to like your style o..deal with it and keep moving…that is life!!!Jesus Christ
Not feeling it….AT ALL! In the pic with the khaki pants, it seem its a little too tight. My personal opinion, black boys should NEVER wear skinny jeans…its so not a good look. Because weezy and new boyz do it doesn’t mean everyone should follow. I mean if you want to experiment with color and style, atleast be cute. So people can have something else to look at…
This guy, why is it paining you? I have that LV belt and trust me the guy’s belt is legit. Because you no get the $420 to buy am abi? Bad belle.
arin u have no clue. do u know what fashion is. black guys shld never wear skinny pants. i guess ur lost. the man has got stlye . nice one
d picture wiv d orange shorts makes him look like a black perez hilton wiv no hair, and d blue blazer n beige pants makes him look like one of the girls on antm…….i like d gentleman’s look best i think everything else just makes it hard to take him seriously cos it just looks like one big joke….and ppl cos a guy wears lots of color doesn’t mean he’s stylish all it means is he’s really bold!!!
Dont come on the page ans say crap! there is nothing like black or white men’s code dress.
Get the style and fitting then you re on the go!
Get exposure outside the shore!lol…….
hahah u hav a great sense of humour..
mmmm I think those of you that are saying he/his style is hot need to stop deceiving him. How many of you ladies would date him?????? It is good to stand out and be unique but don’t be ridiculous about it.
Patrick’s style is unique and different but I seriously do not see myself hanging out/dating such a dude.
All I can say to this is..”work work fashion baby work it make that bitch crazy!” LOVE IT! Ur style is hawt dahling. xox
can someone wake me up from my dream?
speak for urself ma’am…
Damn!! All I can say!
Well I’m sorry to say it but just like Burberry scarves and gratuitous tattooing, obnoxious logo belts are chavvy and have nothing to do with fashion. My girlfriend thinks so too!
only this guy na BAD GUYS
dont get all d ‘babes’ dat b comin up ere moanin bout girls neva datin a guy dat wears loud colors…er, d last i checked, d king of wacky colors, julius agwu is married nd to a beaurriful girl at dat!.. so cut d guy some slack, peeps. lol
Rly tho, patrick doesnt come off as crude or garrish instead he challenges d fashion norms whilst paintin a hawt picture…definitely stylish… or pray tell, wat is style aftall
thnx a millie 4 the comment
LOL! i like you
he is a fiesty little fella isnt he!?
yes BO$$.. @nwosu u killed swagga, u’ve got suave!!! your stylish and fashionable, i’ll activate my “sharingan” so i can bite your style but i wont chew lol!!!
@haters say d guy get shoes, cloths and bag pass them..” una no no road 2 market????”
bright colors are not feminine at all. Maybe in a 3rd world country like nigeria or a ghetto they would be considered feminine, but not in modern western society. Guys fashion has been limited throughout the years by narrow-mindedness and I admire any men who do take the plunge and wear stylish clothing proudly. I enjoy fashion and my girlfriend appreciates that side of me.
Dude, therez a thin line btw being bold and clowning……yu beginning to look more like a clown like seriously……too many colors, dunno abt yur style mehn and yu really should chill with replying pplez comments like seriously, its not FB!
Dere’s nothin wrong wif his colours. d colours wld obviously make him stand out n get ppl turning dere heads which is wut he wants …. Its called PERSONAL STYLE baby..
PHEW!!THE BROTHER IS TOO MUCH.MR PRIM AND PROPER.NO NO NO!!!!!
yes he can dress….but its obvious his fag abeg…can all men dress like him…
2 much swagga…….
I”ll be honest and say that about 60% of the looks are not 2 my liking but I always love it when someone is bold enough to express themselves confidently through fashion, not everyones gonna like what u wear, but just do you!
And there’s me thinking I was in the style section… Saying that though, what more does one expect when an ibo guy tries to define style, garrish and riotous colours and somewhat chavvy choices come to mind.
This is the problem Nigeria is facing 2da as a country, SEGREGATION!! what does being igbo have 2 do wit personal style? wat does any1′s race, nationality or tribe have to do wit their style? “chavvy choices” r u serious?? mayne some folks need 2 think and filter their thoughts b4 writing shyt!
the way he dresses sometimes are very good or very bad
The outfits are inspiring, even for me, some of them aren’t as flattering as others, and I think it’s always important, male or female to flatter yourself, so you don’t look like the clothes are wearing you.
However all in all, pretty nice. My favourite outfit is the one with black jacket and indigo skinny jeans with the tilter cap – leaning against the palm tree.
Normally I love accessorizing, but I think sometimes the clean-cut not-too-much jewellery look works great, because it looks less try hard.
Lastly, I prefered all the pictures with the natural expressions
Risk taker, bold choices, fresh! Dat double breasted jacket with the chinos? Dis boy is tapping men! Those green shorts- hot
Tribalistic Shenenigans!! Maka gini wetin Igbo do you?
saying your style is way over the top and vain would be stating the obvious.to have you flaunt such a collection of fake belts, bags and glasses, not to mention knock off bling is mortifying!!!!!and you claim to be a naija style guru???!!!
Nice pic’s
