“FAB Night Out” lights up Lagos this weekend – Fashion from Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi & MAI for Vlisco – Music from Eldee & Mo’Cheddah and lots more

On Sunday 5th December 2010, FAB Magazine will be celebrating a successful 2010 with an event – “FAB Night Out“.

FAB Magazine is a quarterly fashion and lifestyle magazine targeted at the Cosmopolitan African based at home and in diaspora. The FAB Night Out event will fuse all things that represent this budding brand including music and fashion. On the music front – Nigerian music stars Eldee, Sasha, Bez and Mo’Cheddah are scheduled to perform; For fashion – Nigeria’s Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi and MAI will be showcasing alongside Ghana’s Jil Couture and the UK’s Re Bahia.   All the designers are crafting their collections using fabric from Vlisco‘s Gallery of Poems collection.

African Celebrities from the world of fashion, music and entertainment will be attending the event and FAB Magazine is rolling out a special “black carpet” for the occasion. The invite-only event will be hosted by Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere and Tee A and is being held at the Landmark Village on Sunday 5th December 2010.

According to FAB Founder, Babajide Akin Familusi, ‘‘Guests can look forward to a night of endless drinks, dancing and shoulder-rubbing with some of fashion and music’s finest, so dress daring and arrive on time’’

In addition to the fashion and music, FAB will be giving out 25 special FAB awards. This is the debut of the FAB Awards which aims to recognize the most fabulous fashion and lifestyle brands in Africa.
