BN Wedding Glam: The Bolanle Bob-Egbe & Temie Williams-Olley Traditional Wedding
Posted on Tuesday, January 11th, 2011 at 8:01 PMBy BellaNaija.com
BN Wedding Glam is a feature from Bella Naija Weddings focused on the wedding guests.
We have many exciting wedding features planned for January 2011 and we want to get the ball rolling.
On the 9th of December 2010, Bolanle Bob-Egbe & Temie Williams-Olley celebrated their traditional wedding/engagement ceremony in style at the 10 Degrees Event Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
The colours for the bride’s friends were gold and blue – the gold was beautiful lace sari while the ‘george’ provided the dash of blue. In honour of the bride and groom’s Delta and Yoruba heritage, respectively, guests crafted their aso-ebi into styles inspired by both the Delta (2 Piece Wrapper) style and also the contemporary ‘skirt and blouse’ looks.
Check out photos from the event and expect the BN wedding feature in February 2011.

Nice! What material is ds? I mean d blue?
It the George wrapper, worn typically but the urhobo and itsekiris
Good concept lovely!
The George wrapper is also won by the Igbo’s especially ppl from the Aro kingdom
wow very courageous of her, to have gone off a limb like that and not stuck to the ankara status quo …nice!
Emm Nigerians don’t only use ankara for engagement aso-ebi. Lace & george are just as common if not more!
Timeyin and Kunbi looking hot…everyone look nice.
the Asian babes outfit…banging
Yay!!! My darling cuz and her husband. Everybody looking burrriful x
Most SE and SS tribes wear George. It’s not an urhobo/itsekiri-only thing

They all look good! I think the blue fabric is Indian, not the “george” wrapper. Not sure sha, just looks so to me.
Well george material is originally an Indian fabric, that has been adopted by many Nigerians east of River Niger.
