BellaNaija will be celebrating our 5th anniversary in July 2011 and so far, we have had an amazing 2011!
In the last 30 days, BN has received over 2,000,000 (That’s Two Million!) pageviews, our biggest haul ever.
We aspire to do even better, therefore we are expanding our team.
We currently have several editorial assistant positions open as well as two temporary roles.
Note that these are full-time (in office) roles. Therefore, please do not apply if you are not based in Lagos and available to begin work in March/April 2011.

Vacancies
BellaNaija Graduate Programme – Editorial Assistant – All BN Sections
The editorial assistant positions are graduate positions, therefore are ideal for recent graduates currently completing their NYSC or have recently completed NYSC. Candidates posted to Lagos enrolled in the March 2011 NYSC batch are encouraged to apply.
Candidate must be knowledgeable about BellaNaija.com and have a particular interest in a specific BN section (e.g. Weddings, Style, Music etc… – Please specify area of interest on cover letter). Though we are open to receiving applications in all areas – Weddings, Music, Career, Technology/Telecoms, Movies & TV, Beauty & Style are a priority.

Criteria

  • Graduate from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Exceptional research skills
  • Exceptional level of business ethics
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Candidates must have a strong interest in media (specifically online media) and the area of specialization.

Business Development Assistant Position – Temp Role – 1 Month
Note that this is a temporary position – 1 Month Term
Business Development Assistant will work with the Business Development Analyst to create policy documents, run reports, review and update data etc….

Criteria

  • Graduate from an accredited institution of higher learning – Accounting, Finance, Project Management preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Exceptional research skills
  • Exceptional level of business ethics
  • Experience working with accounting and CRM software
  • Knowledge of Nigerian tax law and regulations will be a major advantage

ARISE Magazine Fashion Week – Style Assistant – Temp Role – 1 Week
The AMFW take place next week! Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th March 2011, BN has great plans for the event and want you to be part of it.
We are giving one special BN reader the opportunity to be part of our team for this duration.
Are you a stylista/stylisto, based in Lagos, available from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th March 2011?
You must be a great writer, photographer (must own a camera), have access to a computer with an internet connection and have a keen sense of adventure! Please do not apply if you are unavailable for the full duration of the event.
