BN Bytes: Idris Elba Arrives in Nigeria Early for D’Banj’s Koko concert

Idris Elba has finally arrived! The superstar actor came into Nigeria a little early, prior his hosting D’Banj‘s “Koko concert” (on the 27th, December, 2012) to chill with the Kokomaster… I can imagine Nigerian Paparazzi putting on their A-Game to catch Idris while he hangs out around Lagos, Nigeria. But, until then, here are a few photos of D’Banj and Idris Elba.

Touchdown! Is D’banj short? Idris British Elba, welcome to Nigeria. Happy Boxing day to Bellanaija.com
D’banj is 6ft. Idris ‘Sex-on-a-stick’ Elba is 6’4. Brova is a hottie
can someone tell me why 2face is a local champion? we have only 3 international artiste in nigeria… 1. dbanj 2. wizkid . 3 Psquare…. The rest including 2face are just local champions
hun….he just staying true to his roots n he knows that success does not necessarily mean being international. didn’t 2face make it big bf any of those people u hav mentioned? isnt he still relevant n most of all celebrated by his people still? stop knocking down someone’s success…u, who knows u?or u think he doesnt have international friends too bc he doesnt show dem?mstchewwwwww

And that is because….? Must he go around with US celebrities to prove that he is an international star? You should ask yourself why the others feel that need! How relevant is Idriss Elba Musically for you to call someone else local Champion for not tagging along such people? Or Must he pay millions for people to feature in his songs when he doesn’t really need them? Is Beautiful Onyenye Featuring Rick Ross being played in any US based station? No. So that is just dust for real local champions eyes.
But why are you bringing 2face here. What’s up with that #confused face#!
Okay you have had your say… happy now? Sheeesh! ‘Who God done bless, no man can curse!”
ode, what kind of comment did you just make sef? where did they mention 2face in this post that you’re even making reference to him. If you have beef for 2face why don’t you find a better opportunity to air your views. Theyre talking about dbanj and idris elba, youre talking about who is local champion and who is international star… bollocks! mchewww
@darry, please do tell us how 2face is a local champ? because he still keeps it real with his African music and beats and doesn’t go about kissing ass. don’t be ignorant and best know that 2face is still the top African act in most African countries and pulls crowd wherever he goes without trying so hard. going hollywood or hanging with chris brown doesn’t necessarilymean that you are an international artist e.g Fela, Femi Kuti…I believe thats the path our 2baba is on and we love him just the way he is.
Hmmmm! Na wa o! Dbanj don go far o!
D banj for president
idris Elba
Where is dat guy who said Idris can’t come, that it was a publicity stunt?
It’s about to go down!! Koko master Baba Toni Montana
2face is not a local champion
if it’s true that Chris brown was paid 1million dollars just for some shits he did, then Nig gat really long way to long! UN say an average Nigerian live on a dollar a month and still she could still cough out 1 million dollars for some tattoo boy!! Shame!! Meanwhile, @ Darry, it is a shame you call 2face local champion, please do explain meaning of local champion in a nutshell..!! He is African he’s not American wanna be’zz!! We Africans are loosing it!!

@Fabulous £££,I would not call Tuface a Local champion definitely but look here,no one is kissing anyone’s ass.D’banj has worked sooo hard to get to the level he is on now.He did not just start yday at all and he equally is most def about the topmost African act and we love D’banj the way he is as well. The commenter who called Tuface a local champ is quite incorrect and i disagree with her but the fact that u wanna defend Tuface does not mean u shld disregard D’banj or whoever else. Both D’banj and Tuface are doing exceptionally well in their endeavours and D’banj does not need an Idris Elba to pull crowd. We all know all his concerts rock and are always well attended whether in Naija or outside Naija.Thumbs up to him and all other artistes….
DARRY, absolute rubbish shame on u..
Idris alba is not looking so hot o. Honestly, I o ly follow the band wagon lusting after this man, i don’t see anything so special. Give me some lynxx all day err day.
i think 2face songs makes sense he sing about real stuff not like some artist that sing about cars, slut, money and gun I was surprised when most of my American friend where singing African queen and saying how much the like the song I think 2face is one of the best naija and he makes us proud
