whoa great innovation…
Why didn’t they go for ladies who are actually married and leaving in lekki???justsaying
Why didn’t you actually learn to spell??? justsaying
great idea.i also thought that’s what will happen.
Um…You do realize it is acting, make belief, not real? If it is not a reality show, why would they specifically use people that live in Lekki and are married?
Er… it’s not a reality show. It’s like BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood…it ain’t real.
ugh what???pls pls pls!!
oh, so its just a drama series? i thought it’ll actually b a reality show. these stories have been over flogged, i’d have been more interested in watching real wives trying to balance career and family, not wives sleeping around and doing all sorts. is that all our movies producers can come up with?
Almost thought it was a reality series.I for fear. katherine used to be married & lived in lekki.
lmao @ gold,haba nao
@Gold, i’m sure u meant ‘LIVING’…. R they serious at all?, we should pay to watch? mshew. Mbok, whatever happened to ‘How she left my brother’?
I believe costs were incurred in the filming and making of the project. Don’t you think people need to recoup their investments? I think we should pause, think, think a little more before we make some brash assertions. Okay?
ok Funkola. we undertand that costs were incurred then they filmed etc. In that case, why didnt they push hard to get the show on one of the TV networks in Nigeria? Surely that would have made more sense than charging people to view it online?
anyway, I which them all the best with this and I hope it works out but I will not be paying to view it.
*sigh* what kind of stupid, lowlife show is this biko kwanu? Is it too much too ask for nigerian women to be given more depth on our tv and movie screens? dont our screenwriters/ directors/ producers ever get tired of making ”blackberry babes”, ”desperate ladies”, ”aristos” type movies ? i mean, seriously?! *smh*
abeg cant we be ourselves, oyibo go do their drama naija go folo
So I have to pay to watch it ? Na wa sha . Why will one pay to watch a soap ??
Yeh, I saw the first episode last night and I must say its fantastic, didn’t expect the clean flow of things I swear, looking forward to more, I’m on to epidode 2′ na wa for Lekki landlords oh, if this is based on a truss story then e get as e be…and it was $1.99 I paid.
sse all this people calling others low life, common 2 dollars dey hard Una to comot for pocket.. Doesnt that say much about you….you want free tv yet na you curse person pass, Abeg where is my mastercard, let me watch my people jare. I will come back and give an unbiased report….see ya
Its not about removing $2. Its how many times you have to remove $2 from our pockets. They could simply partner with someone like IrokoTv, who already have members that pay $5 dollars a month for unlimited access to Irokoplus movies. Paying N500 or $2 anytime they have an episode can really add up. Who do you think really watch these shows? …The average man that’s who, and i don’t think he/she would be adding that to their monthly budget. If it comes on every Tuesday, and we have 4 Tuesdays in a month, that’s freakin N2000…plus food, credit, petrol, PHCN etc…yah, i don’t think so. No one is a low-life, some people are just a little more practical.
Thank you dear for such a good one. Will take a look. I expect something good, I liked blessings two brides and a baby very much…but wait oh, why did some of you think it was a reality series, do not always judge a book by its cover title remember.
Obviously you can’t please people. The last time an article on this show was put on BN, people accused it of being “copy-cat” of American reality shows and unoriginal. That was even after the article clearly said it was a scripted series. Now its obviously clear that it’s scripted and the complaint now is that it should have been a reality show…
Huh??!!! R u kidding me? What wives??! Pls spare me. Naija can like to copy sha.
Sounds like Basketball Wives. Nigerians are always copying Americans. Wannabes. LOL
i think u should watch d show before you conclude….. its nothing like basketball wives ….
Wheeewwwwwwwwww, what a breath of fresh air, my 300 naija isn’t waisted at all, good opening story with Kiki wanting 64,000 Maria Brazilian hair…..her husband gave her 2k , guess what she did next….hhahahah, going to episode 2, it’s actually up….beats tinsel hands down, and guess what peeps, it’s not a copy ohhhhhhhhh….true naija story , yihaa
I’ll rather buy a pack of snickers for £1 than watch this cos i know it will soon be free…..lmao
Haba 500 hundred naira for just one episode..smh wen I downloaded games of thrones season 1 &2 for free..i watch all the real housewives show for free..why can’t dey get sponsors or tv time..pay 500# God forbid..
lol! you stole the words from my head.
Laff don kill me@ m.j. Ur comment makes sense to me, cos me I watch series and download them for free directly on my iPad sef without restrictions, so I can’t be a culprit to this patronage.
this string of comments my dearies is my own soap. you guys crack me up!! lol
too many cheap skates on here…i wont let your comments deter me..i am going to watch/
It’s not about being cheap, when it’s not a movie we’re buying…even if I’m going to buy a whole box set of a series, it will not equate to N500 per episode. Please do new year for us and share your card details….Lol
I like it, I have watched it, I suggest you guys do too before you start saying its a copy. I actually think its a good one. Bella, put up the next episode
A good first episode…but I am honestly tired of the Nigerian women stereotype…….why do we glorify runs/prostitution…it is well….the men that do these ..sigh
Very typical of people, u havent even watched the first episode and you have condemned someone’s entire effort. Haba! Its not by force biko. If u dont see the need to watch it fine and if u must criticise den let it b healthy.
Katherine, please grow your hair! Enuff said.
wetin consain you with her hair?! why dont you keep watching the episodes to see how things unfold and what led to what? Mschhhiiiiewwww
Bella please I need to complete the episodes, I have indeed enjoyed the first three episodes and I want too see how the story unfolds..loving this Lekki wives…we all might just be in shock from what I’ve sen so far
Seems those that have watched it have nothing but positive feedback. hmmm let me wait for the whole series to be complete before i watch
nice innovation Blessing
Oh my goodness, I haven’t seen a quality production like this from naija in a long while, I though tinsel was good. Lekki wives is great!!!!!!!!! I have seen episodes 1-10 and I can’t wait for the last three. These new actors are fantastic oh, and as for blessing, hmm. I I have a whole new love for you. Writer, producer, director and you nailed it. Well done………but if I may ask, why are all the episodes not up? Naija tins. Lol
You rock, thanks for your support…. Blessing is working on loading them up and will be done soon. Hang in there there, your support is greatly appreciated and noted…. (hugs)
You rock Freda, thanks for your support…. Blessing is working on loading the last three episodes up and will be done soon. Hang in there there, your support is greatly appreciated and noted…. (hugs)
And Bella, please it’s $0.99 per episode not $3.00 as you reported, scared the shit out of me…
Waow….. a lot of mixed comments going around.
I personally think it is a great and entertaining project.
For those who think it should be free, come on now;
this was made with a lot of money, I know because I happen
to be one of the actors in it. TV stations here, so far have not shown appreciation for the fact a lot was put into making this project great. The scripting as well as the quality of the production. It cost Million of Naira to produce and they weren’t ready to pay for it at even cost of production, let alone profit added.
Entertainment is what we as actors/film makers love doing, but if there is no reward for our efforts then there is only so much we can do to improve our entertainment industry before we pack it up.
The least that we Nigerians/African people can do is support what we have and not look for faults. I see good comment from people who have actually PAID to watch it and they feel it is value for their money. If you don’t want to pay, fine, but stop bashing it. We are building an industry, either help or take a back seat.
Well, enough said…. love you the great supporters….. (smiles and hugs)
Ohh tony…I saw you ohhhhhh, is that really you. My goodness, your really good, the scene with Keira and her friend where you used whips and cuffs was so good to watch, so also was the recent where you two fought. I’m so impressed. Where have ou been. Abel, I’m a fan oh…….bellaaaaaaaa, where are episodes 11-13
Scene I meant not recent
lol….bet u r using an apple product, with their annoying auto-correct…………………..Have U noticed how those criticizing the show for charging have not commented since Anthony added his comment?……..What many people do not understand is NOT EVERYTHING IS FOR EVERYONE…..If you cannot afford to pay to watch, or you would rather wait for it to be free, then so be it..Let those who can afford to do so…after all ISITYOURMONEY?….Some people will always try to desecrate other people’s efforts by all means…Could you not have given your thoughts about how u think it would be more marketable if it were free etc, rather than saying Godforbid that you pay to watch (no names mentioned)…May someone else not say Godforbid to your efforts as well……..I havent watched it yet so got no comments. I thought it was shown on tv in naija tho, or am I mistaken?
i loved it, great quality and interesting characters…. totally worth d money i paid ..
where did you get the link to watch it? cant find any online….can you post the link pls?
