The Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, has launched a new website dedicated to news and information about the President.

The website, www.reubenabati.com.ng, contains information about the President’s speeches, foreign trips, interviews, policies and more, all in a bid to present him in an untainted form. A look through the posts on the site reveals articles and news reports praising President Jonathan and his achievements. Nothing negative or controversial was seen written about him on the site.

Ever since his appointment as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Abati has been at the forefront, defending the President’s actions every time they are questioned. In August 2012, he wrote a controversial editorial piece titled “The Jonathan They Don’t Know” where he presented him as a man who is almost perfect.

With this website, he has shown he is not slowing down in promoting President Jonathan’s works.

Is this same Reuben Abati that used to write in Guardian newspaper? That had once written how Jonathan and other leaders before him have pauperized Nigerians without conscience? That wrote volumes of articles and titles on same course? God will help Nigeria. Amen!

      Just checked the site.
It’s basically illegible. So much for transparency and quality control.

      Please fix this.

So what I dont understand is why the government does not have an official website to communicate the president’s actions and views. In civilized society in this day and age, this is expected and he could have invested in a website like “nigeriangovernment.com” or something else instead of his website which looks like idol worship simply because it is named reubenabati.com but it is all about someone else and his govt.

Oh well, many brains are non-functional in Naija

Stupid hypocrite, I lost my respect for him a long time ago. He can’t be only doing his job, there are better jobs than being a squealer from animal farm.
