to be honest, i don’t think the skirt is that bad. it’s the way she styles it. if the shirt was plain white , minimal jewelry and calmer makeup, it would have been quite nice. there’s just too much going on, dark eyes, bright lips, big earrings, ah. anyway, just my 2 cents, wetin consain me.

One thing girl. 5 ways to stop attracting haters, how about that. For every action, there’s a equal and opposite reaction. There are on 9ja celebs people really like and love, even with their flaws, their voltrons will scatter you, if u dare say anything negative. Examples are TuFace, Don Jazzy, Mercy Johnson, Omotola etc. So those that have a multitude of haters, moreso than lovers, should ask themselves what they are doing that all they attract is haters. So, stop burying your head in the sand. Your side dig at internet haters, didn’t endear you to more people, and if u truly don’t send them at all, or u r not affected by their talk, u shouldn’t have mentioned them at all. You don’t give what you don’t care about, attention.

Haba people, I totally enjoyed Toke’s video today , thou am not a fan of Toka (for no reason anyway) maybe because she has lots of all you haters so I followed put as omo naija now.
But on this one, I must give it to her, she took to your advices and gave you the naija accent you want hanhan what else do u guys need Again. I enjoyed it sha and for once I smiled almost through out. And all her naughty crazy bit towards the end did it for me sha, it makes me view as being normal regular girl with ambition.

One advice I’ll give to Toke Makinwa is this: Pray about your haters. Tell God to give you a heart to love them and tell God to help you through slanderous comments people make about you.
The truth is if you’re not really pained by what your haters say about you, you won’t take the time to make this video. I think the more you keep quiet (apart from when you’re on radio, doing your job), the less people have to say about you. And also ask yourself, “why is everybody hating on me?” If you can check deep within yourself and you know there’s an iota of truth in what they say, why not effect changes, it won’t hurt you.
Enough said!
@damisco, advice yourself instead of others. We have all got emotions and as humans we will be bothered when others say horrible things about one, even when we try to pretend like we are superman. I guess you would be worse if you were in her shoes. Anyway, Toke…some of us like you no matter the horrible comments people make…. I have also made my friends here like you.
I read the comments before I watched the video and was surprised. From the comments, I thought she said a lot of rubbish, only to watch the video and see that everything she said is not only on point, but that she was speaking generally. Naija people, sha!!! We sabi hate. That’s how people were commenting that Eku Edewor was star struck when she was talking to Kim and I watched the video only to see that she wasn’t. We need to chill with the hate. Trying to dim the next man’s (or in this case, woman’s) light cannot make your’s shine any brighter. We all have our paths to walk.
Why is this girl trying so hard, she really has no talent, but hey, she’s hustling and I get that. I wonder, did she complete University?

I don’t even know this chick but she’s entertaining. Okay the accent used be all over the place before. However, on this occasion she kept it real. She listened to your criticisms and made some changes. Toke darling, keep it up and keep entertaining us.
