LOL. and they both contested in 2011 under different names and ages. at least silverbird is listening! they also don’t deserve to be in the competition they are very average looking.

Perhaps rather than jumping to conclusion, we should either hear from these girls themselves or from silverbird!

My grandma ‘s favorite Igbo proverb, ” Don’t kill a man for his ambition. The worst thing is for a man not to have an ambition all.”
    So girls, it’s ok.

I am not suprised! This Silverbird competition will always be drama-laden. At least, they aren’t de-crowning, switching Miss world/universe this time. On a different note, it might actually be personal reasons. Participating in pageants ain’t beans!

so you don’t have to be from the state to contest representing that state?

  • Ochuko July 15, 2013 at 9:32 am

When northern girls dont do beauty peagent, is more undastandable 4 ever ambitious, fame thirsty southern girls 2 rep de states.

    • Jemma Bond July 16, 2013 at 1:14 pm

The reason northern contestants are so rare is because most of them are from Muslim backgrounds, but there was at least one northerner competing at the just concluded Miss Nigeria pageant.
