TEDxVictoriaIsland is Reborn as TEDxLagos | 27th September 2013
TEDxLagos was created in the spirit of the TED mission, “ideas worth spreading.” The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals for and in Nigeria the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences in Lagos.
Our TEDxLagos conference is multi-disciplinary and this year will be themed “Inclusion”. It will encapsulate the work of all our speakers and performers in their wide range of fields within this year’s theme: inclusion. It gives a common thread that will tie our live speakers and performers; helping ideas flow from one presentation or performance into the next.
At TEDxLagos, live presenters will spark deep conversation and connections. TEDxLagos is fully planned and coordinated independently by volunteers for and in Nigeria.
Our audience will witness TED talks and performances inspired by our speakers’ passion for what they do.What will their talks and performances be about? What makes our speakers hopeful for the future? What do they reflect on? You will have to attend to find out!
Some speakers for this year’s event include: Tonye Cole, Kunlé Adeyemi, Yewande Sadiku, Azu Nwagbogu, eLDee, Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, Tunde Kelani, Kelechi Amadi-Obi.
