      This haloween wahala never finish?

    • sexy mama November 8, 2013 at 2:58 PM

rubbish, we just copy everything yet cannot get it right even while copying….yes the decoration and venue theme is so Halloween but cant the guest find out the right thing to wear? Halloween is demonic and has no significant value to humanity so leave the oyibos to their tradition and don’t start polluting our children….

      • Confucius November 8, 2013 at 3:29 PM

How did this party directly affect you? You woke up on the same bed you slept on. You have your own problems, same as everyone else. Please spend more time raising your children and stop telling other people how to live their lives.

    • Frida November 8, 2013 at 3:07 PM

What just happened? What did I just see?

    • nonye November 8, 2013 at 3:10 PM

looks like they had fun… however… “to the left, to the left…”

    • Zini November 8, 2013 at 3:12 PM

Pls you guys should give up already. So nigerians copy eveything and celebrate halloween. How doesbit affect you? If people want to dress up and party its their business. Fela is celebrated worldwide, why is that not a problem? Focus on people that bleach their skin to be white and leave halloweeners alone

    • Hausa Girl in Texas November 8, 2013 at 3:20 PM

Sexy Mama.. You said it all
      Halloween is demonic indeed.
Years down The line, they’ll start casting
      “Every demonic and satanic manipulations
Fighting against me, fall and die”
Yet you dress like them, and willingly
Invoke their operations in your life…
      #What you don’t want, don’t invoke#

      • kay November 10, 2013 at 1:58 PM

This is foolish. So dressing for a costume party is
inviting demons into your life? You’re obviously not very educated
or well read. I see why your pastor makes 10% off you every
        month.

    • lakelizzy November 8, 2013 at 3:26 PM

Sigh.. I’ve so much to say about this, but it’ll be to no use. Everything i see just remind me of reasons we are lagging behind. Why must we always be so quick to conform. Wouldn’t it be nice too if the West adopts/observes a Nigerian festival? I bet most of these people don’t even know the histroy of halloween. All the witches and Wizards that have been waiting for opportunities to freely be themselves now are given the platform. SMH

    • Hausa Girl in Texas November 8, 2013 at 3:27 PM

Zini… Do you know Halloween means celebration
      Of The Dead??
In The U.S, people decorate their houses with skull,
      And other gruesome decorations..
You must be a follower indeed.
      Buying bleaching creme Vs.. Halloween??
      What an amazing contrast…
You must be one of this ridiculous and hideous
      Looking wannabes in The picture…
Not all Americans celebrate this demonic infused
      Halloween…
People like you, will always COPY and never be original.
If Beyonce, Rihanna or any other celebrities cut their
Hair, they goes a lot of Naija girls doing The same thing.
Even Solange, Beyonce’s Sister still stay true to her
      African Roots

      #Be Original, Don’t Die a Copycat#

    • Chigbo November 8, 2013 at 3:28 PM

Copy copy !!! What is the origin of the Halloween that you are copying?

ANSWER THIS QUESTION FIRST. God made us to have sense so let is apply it!

    • jcsgrl November 8, 2013 at 3:35 PM

Why can’t they borrow all the plenty eze nwanyi, native doctor, witch doctor, azi mmiri costumes that we have and wear instead? Our witches, ghost and wizards don’t look like this naa? they should ask Nollywood producers, we get plenty of those to put on display. Abi fear dey catch dem before Africa wonder spirits go enter dem?

Hahahahaha!!!!! How about mammy water whom they say lives in the ”bar beach” ”sea”(pun intended)….
I’m sure none of the Halloween party revelers will wait to watch ‘part2′ if native doctors and the likes turned up…

can someone tell me the rationale behinde nigerians celebrating halloween? These pple are digging themselves into bondage that they do not know about, all in view of copying the western world. I bet you, if you really know much about pple in the western world ,you will never pray to be like them or try to copy them. This nigerian girls oversabi is becoming too much.

Do you have to copy everything??? Halloween in nigeria….. you left out Guy Fawkes Night. Shame on your souls soon you will be copying to worship EVIL

    • Friday's other Child November 10, 2013 at 10:51 AM

Halloween is being celebrated in Nigeria because it gives
businesses another opportunity to commercialise a date and make
money, it’s really as simple as that. People hire costumes go to a
club and spend money on drinks. I doubt the organisers – a drinks
company/distributor/licensee – of this event are thinking too much
beyond having a rooster of events that allow them to socialise
their brand and make money in the process. It would be great to
also see some of the events on the rooster reflect ‘local’
      festivities.

    • Chy November 10, 2013 at 9:08 PM

@lakelizzy sorry to say but you just yanned DUST. D-U-S-T dust. as in celebrate what? eyo festival where people are flogged on the road like goats. as in white ppl should wear white masks and start flogging people and then look like ku klux klan members. pls just STOP
