Bye Bye Mavin, Hello New Opportunities! Wande Coal is Now a Glo Ambassador

Wande Coal - November 2013 - BellaNaija

Say hello to the new Glo ambassador!

Today the music star took to Twitter to announce that he is smiling all the way to the bank. He is now an ambassador for the telecommunications company.

He joins a long list of entertainers who are already ambassadors for the company. They include Waje, Naeto C, MI, Flavour, Desmond Elliot, Funke Akindele, Chee, Lynxxx, Omawumi and Funke Akindele.

Congrats to Wande.

This is all looking like a grand publicity stunt orchestrated by Don Jazzy. This just make you wonder if this saga wasn’t staged. I see a trend here Don Jazzy!… The music industry is now so huge that Wande is not finding it easy to gain relevance, irrespective of the fact that he is very talented. I believe this ”Babyface” track issue is a publicity stunt for Marvin acts and Wande to gain more relevance in the industry. I sincerely hope I am right, they just need people to be curious and create controversy such that they will all be in the news. Let’s keep our fingers crossed

i totally agree with you. What better way to indicate a separation from Mavin and create the freedom to endorse another telecommunications giant than a public twitter feud? Whereas when he and Dbanj were separating, Don J remained very tight-lipped about the whole thing, it took forever for him to say anything. the twitter rant is very uncharacteristic of Don Jazzy. Albeit he is on twitter a lot but I understand he generally keeps things light-hearted. Oh well….

Do I smell Bias here BN?? “If you thought for a minute that Wande Coal’s career will go down hill because of the criticism that has come knocking on his door this week, you are wrong”

@Hurpeyeahmie,@Labelle good to know someone also saw my point that wasnt necessary at all because I dont even think he was that criticized it virtually died down after like 24 hours sef.. so why would that even make his career go down worst case he gives credit to don Jazzy or says the song is don jazzy’s lobatan or he holds on to it wateva situation it still doesnt mean his career will be affected because as we all know wande can still sing so how can one song then make his career go downhill?? and it doesnt also mean that Don Jazzy cannot just find one new artist and produce top tracks that will knock off them top artists of the charts. music business I dont think is like mathematics. that could also have been one lil publicity stunt who knows, that statement revealed whose side you were on BN good you edited it @who cares you cant see it cos its been edited.
