I know 1 day we ll dine 2geda

    • mrs chidukane January 3, 2014 at 12:57 PM

Yeah, good for him. Just ask yourself why no one else does the businesses he does. Also, how come he can afford to build a refinery by this year and Nigeria can’t.I’m not impressed by his wealth. Curse me all you want but as far as I’m concerned, Nigerian government is heavily aiding him with their shady policies

    • zamunda January 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM

My sister@mrs chidukane,I think so too oo. Nigeria’s govt
is aiding him in all his not so scrupulous deals. Anyway,I think
he’s done a great work by building industries instead of stashing
it in one swiss bank like our so called leaders

    • Tosin January 3, 2014 at 3:02 PM

i like his style, tho you know the backlash will come.
because in a way, it’s hard to smile at major inequalities in the
world. dang, 9.2billion is a lot of paper lol.

    • SNAGGLE TOOTH January 3, 2014 at 3:17 PM

@ mrs chidukane AND zamunda if that’s the case than every
billionaire in the world isn’t credible and government aided
majority if not all the worlds richest men. Bill Gates didn’t get
where he is without monopolizing the computer industry, American
tech companies benefit from the banning of specific Asian brands as
well as “duty rates” tax tariffs on importation of non American
products. Same in mexico Carlos Slim monopolized 73% of the
telecoms industry in mexico. China has over 300 billionaires yet is
a communist country, its not possible without government influence.
Russia has over 100 billionaires, yet is a country that is
“socialist” Vladimir putin has been in power for close to 16 years!
There is no where in the world one can become a billionaire without
“some kind” of government aid. Even in America the govt usually
republicans turn a blind eye to corporate banks shady deals, but
because the banks have grown so large JPM,AIG,Citi,Wells
fargo,Morgan, the government cannot just dismantle that kind wealth
it will affect millions of people so they supply aid to them. So
those banks will be the top banks in the world despite being shady,
that’s Capitalism. Nigerians need to get hip and start playing the
game every country in the world plays “elitism and capitalism”. all
western countries have elite who enjoy the favor of government in
      private industry.

All I see is inspiration to do more,to be more,to get to
the top! No one is perfect, and I’ve picked the qualities he
      has-good business acumen,hardworking,perseverance,persistence et al
and that’s wat am gonna work with. We’ll get there.

    • Lord Emmace January 3, 2014 at 6:18 PM

yea mr.dangote i feel ur swaggs and i tenk God for u…buh one day am gonna be lyk u even more dan….

    • Saraman January 3, 2014 at 6:57 PM

@SNAGGLE TOOTH, there is no more to add to your reply to
all Dangote’s detractors. You clearly put it! Congratulations!
Africans never cease to amaze me. We complain that our achievements
are not being acknowledged, that on the world stage we are not
given the consideration we deserve and yet when one of our brother
or sister stands and even beats Westerners, Asians, etc.., we are
the first to minimize his (her) achievements. Dangote’s success
unleash on us Africans, hope and pride. Africa, as we have come to
notice is always portrayed as a failed continent. So successful
entrepreneurs like Dangote, Mosepe, Ovia, Adenuga etc… are
counter-examples that put to rest that negative way of thinking
about Africa. These people should be celebrated not

    • Martin Animashaun January 4, 2014 at 5:26 AM

Dangote is a great inspiration to our generation. IMAGINE! He is even richer than Donald Trump & Belusconi !!! – with all the noise and many others from Europe and America. The great thing about this is that he made his money in NIGERIA/AFRICA taking advantage of opportunities – NOT STEALING… I am SO PROUD of your Sir. You are a Mentor to my DREAMS…

      • Bashar Gulma January 5, 2014 at 6:37 AM
