“Let’s Talk About Love”! You’re Invited to the Word Up Volume 7 Spoken Word Event | Saturday 15th February 2014

Word Up (Spoken Word Poetry Event) is all about the above and much more and it is back with its quarterly Spoken Word Poetry event which holds in February, May, August and November each year. It is an avenue for A-List and up and coming poets to showcase their spoken word talent.

For the first quarter of 2014, they present Word Up Volume 7 tagged “Let’s Talk About Love” just in time for the season of love.This event will feature some of the top spoken word poets in Nigeria like Dike Chukwumerije, Benny Finisher, Plumbline, Olulu, Obii, Atilola, Titi Mabogunje, Soonest, Bob Ekat, Uche Uwadinachi, Ndukwe Onyoha, Sheila Ojei, Tofarati, Chika Jones, Shegzrhymyz, Ehiz d Poet, D Ray and more. Soul music will be provided by Aduke and Tejumade with great music from DJ Swaggz.

Duvy and Don Fabriono will be the official hosts of the evening. It will be a day of pure poetic delight in words and sound. Come and enjoy.
