Lagos Street Style x BN Style: Follow as LSS Captures Powerful Images of Cool Kids at London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week Street Style By Lagos Street Style 1

Ever wondered what the cool kids wear to fashion weeks—or more specifically, what Africans wear to London Fashion Week or any of the three other major fashion weeks?

Well, wonder no more as Nigeria’s a blog dedicated to capturing and documenting Lagos’ quickly evolving street style has decided to share with us all their beautiful street style snaps of the black crowd at the London Fashion Week and—in coming days—Milan Fashion Week, in a series of posts that will surely give us insights of what fashion week dressing is like for the African/black show goers.

But for now, look and enjoy what London has to offer.

    Fashion! Fashion! Fashion

Top of the day to y’all

    • Dee February 23, 2016 at 9:18 am

And to you. I actually love this.

What these people are wearing is real London behavior. It’s not Lagos and they don’t do the dressing that everyone does here.

      • Bleed Blue February 23, 2016 at 10:02 am

        I love it too!

As in, proper London boldness in stepping way out of the box, man… I shall never understand how people are able to live in that mad city but I loooove the uniqueness and distinct fashion flavour of Londoners. They’re not tagged one of the most stylish cities in the world for nothing so berra “hexpect” dem to make their own stamp on Fashion Week (by the way, I really want that raffia tote in the first photo… hope say e no too cost?).

LagosStreetStyle!!! Yesssss, baby, I see you!!!! 😀 BN, why have you good people been sleeping on such a blog that has been growing in acclaim? I thought I’d see a post on her after Vogue featured her work for last year’s Lagos fashion and design week… and even before then, chick has been doing her thing in your backyard. Please, BN, be vigilant about this “awa” very own shutterbug who may be taking photos of your stylish and oblivious self, even at this very moment…

Not a fan of the first pix but everyone looks layer up and while I know it’s cos of the cold, just looks too much. Are these people kids though?

    • Leah February 23, 2016 at 9:45 am

I really like their style jare.
What’s the point of being mainstream when you’re attending Fashion Week? And I think the layers must be because of the cold. Nobody in Naija can try these layers, or else sweat will finish you. But bravo to the out-of-the-box style.

Wait why is everyone getting upset? As for me, I’m totally loving the street style.
Even if I’m more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of person, say what you will but Londoners will never be plain.

  • Na February 23, 2016 at 9:56 am

      • Bruno’s assistant February 23, 2016 at 11:54 am

Why are the two of you so narrow minded? What point are you really making?
People like something, it’s wahala. People don’t like something it’s another wahala. One of these days your heads will be correct. Help me say Amin o (in dammy krane’s voice)
