Hi,I’m Akinlolu Osinbajo,a student and aspiring photographer/designer..(o.k,the designer part is more in my head than on paper,I’m concentrating more on photography, lol).

My Lifestyle
I’m a student so I live a rather simple life-school,home,church..basically. I live in Lekki and I like to hang with my friends, catch a movie, maybe go bowling. Used to be an indoor person, but now I actually enjoy being out, especially to fashion shows and events, ‘cos I like to see how these things work.
I am an aspiring photographer and I’ve recently worked on a couple of projects(including a cover shot for SCEPTER magazine) with more coming up. My camera is a CANON 1000D Rebel Xs D-slr, a base model, but easy to use. I just got it, and since then my life as a photographer has(officially) begun. I started out using my phone(first a Sony ericsson K700i, then a W810i), and since then, it has developed into what is now a full blown passion.
I’m more into fashion and creative photography than any other niche. I admire the work of photographers like Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier and Terry Richardson(they are usually responsible for the amazing spreads you see in Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Glamour, V Magazine etc.) Domestically, TY Bello, Jide Alakija, Moussa Moussa and Kelechi Amadi Obi also provide strong inspiration for me. I like to think outside the box with my own technique: I want people to say ‘wow’ instead of ‘oh that’s a nice picture’. I like random shots of things happening, or things in motion…..pictures that tell more than one story, basically.
Below are some of my shots from stuff I’ve done for others and stuff I’ve worked on for my portfolio.

So why do I need a VEDA laptop?
Currently, to work on my images, I use a desktop computer, which has just enough space but a very low RAM(512MB in the year 2009,sad I know)….so imagine when I have to edit 2MB,3MB JPEG/RAW images…..it takes forever(when the computer isn’t freezing/crashing).Plus I have all sorts of necessary applications that make it work even slower than usual. AND, when I need to do a job outside, I obviously can’t carry it with me…..so you get the picture.
Nowadays, I mainly use my computer to edit pictures(play games once in a while, or watch a movie/series), so I need something that would give me optimum efficiency at all times, portability and reliability….something with a large screen, sizeable RAM, ample hard disk space, a super-fast processor and stylish looks…….something that would ensure a seamless transition from work to play for me……….something like the VEDA EXL Pro……Lol!
On a more serious note though, I intend to use this to further my career in photography, as I will(hopefully) acquire more equipment in due course. Presently, all I have is my camera; I have no studio( I use a room in my house with a mostly blank wall for some of my jobs), no lighting, no additional enhancements( telephoto lens, macro lens, tripod, speedlite flashes etc)…I have to rely on my creativity to obtain the best shots possible under the available circumstances.

So….i’ve made my case for a VEDA….because I think it would improve my work and lifestyle significantly. Please, if you like my work, vote for me, so I can win…..:-).
I sign off with one of my favourite shots(that’s me by the way, lol)
