Naija Sings’ 1st Season Winner, Jon Ogah is Back On the Radar – Releases Brand New Video – “All Night”

Jon Ogah walked away from the first season of Glo Naija Sings $100,000 richer last year over close  contenders, Tarila and Thompson. After the drop of his debut video featuring Sasha – Gbedu, it seemed like he dropped off the radar, but he’s back on the scene again.

Fresh from the States where he recorded and shot the video for All Night. The song captures the renewed rave for Dance music. Certain parts of the song sound eerily familiar though.

Let the music play.

i maintain that he is good!
i like the way he used wande coal and omawumi’s material in the vid….
the chorus sounds like omawumi’s “today na today”
love it sha… it doesnt hurt that he’s a cutie

The song is okay..the video was going well until he picked up the girl. I think he likes her a lot because he was acting all stiff and nervous once he had to do scenes with her. One can’t blame him, the girl is hot and the boy is a boy ( a young one at that). The director should have done a better job.

Unfortunately in his grossly unoriginal video and song, he isn’t at all catchy or endearing. The song sounded like a song unpopular teenage boy would sing to a girl, not something Trey Songz or Chris brown would sing. The song and dude reminded me of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL except that he wasn’t prancing around and he doesn’t have hair that covers half of his eyes.

Anyway, He is lucky he is a good looking dude, otherwise most people would scream NEXT, as soon as the video starts playing. At least I know for me, I only watched coz his fine sha.

the part with the girl kinda feels awkward,he seems uncomfortable,i dont think a guy who is into a girl will act like that lol the song is nice but kinda unoriginal,he is just kinda going with the flow, edge out son

The song is tite and he is a good singer but imho he does’nt have the necessary swag on the in he looks too much of a good boy to pull off the feel of the song. His attitude was kinda playful not sexy enuff for this sorta song….All in all, good song and nice video.

cmon osomelly, feel u but theres alot worse in the international music industry. 80% of rnb and hiphop is just nonsense, tired lyrics BUT with great finishing (AND I love it haha). Well polished vids, professional dancers, or just HAWT babes! I like chris brown but some of his ‘ish is wack! Dont think this guy is particularly that good – but Ive smelt worse in US. and dont get me started on those yearly one-hit wonders in Uk.
DIRECTOR WAS LAAAZZZY. with the right vid and direction, he wld have had more swag, or the grl would have made him look like he had more swag 🙂 (thats usually the way its done with young first-timers). Good luck Jon. Worse peeps have made it b4 u!

com’on guyz its not that bad, even tho the rythm sound a bit familiar remember Omawumi is also known for pinching other peoples beats, rythms and even videos… doubt me?? I’ll prove it to u: In tha music-the entire beat and rythm was “borrowed” from Mafikizolo (a south african group); Today na today- video clips were “loaned” from India Airie (esp the lips and speaker scenes), video clips were also “collected” from the movie called Entrapment, the list is endless. So free the guy abeg…its his first attempt

he tried for his second video. But the director of the video no try for am……….he’s so stiff around the girl when he;s singing to hear, its so unnatural. Woulda been nice if they had helped him out with that or gotten a girl he would flow better with.
Other than that, the song and video are alright.
The boy is cute, so its hard to hate on him! lol

Yet the fans screams and r happy for the scrap..Evn muscian who have made it to the top still sing nonsense..and this to me aint nonsense.. abeg leave the guy alone..He did well..Nigerians ehn abeg lets stop the criticism.,If u wanna criticise do it in a gud way.. point out his faults and encourage him to do better with his next singles..Okay we lack tech in this our country..make we no lie..\we r stll developing how can we grow when comments like this still exist pls show the naija spirit..We r called naija and not Nigeria because Naija get swag, flavor and not what has been established by gorilla..
