This song, this video!! Ugh. I never really understood the song(something about bad guys and girls teasing him..right). Methinks Banky W should really be focusing more on Skales, dude is talented. While he does that he needs to enroll Wizkid in English/pronunciation lessons or something!

I’m sorry but I don’t see what the fuss is about?? The guy is 21! The legal age in most countries is 21. If the guys chooses to go clubbing at that age, what stops him?? All this talk about role model and what not, kids choose who they want to emulate and with the influx of glitz and glamour shows on MTV and the rest, I think the least of our worry is WizKid going to Aqua for his 21st birthday! KMT!

I’m sorry but this dude is 21! 21! The legal age in most countries is 21! If the guy wants to celebrate his birthday at a club, I really don’t see what the fuss is! What role model?? With the influx of all the glitz and glamour on MTV, I’m sure Wizkid partying at Aqua should be the least of our problems! KMT!

@notaplayahater, Usher was much younger when the released that sexified video (whatever the song was called).

  23. PrettyFlawless

    January 17, 2011 at 3:47 pm

I’m really confused at the negativity towards this video. What exactly is the problem? Wizkid is 21, there are girls dancing in a club, they have lingerie on (not naked) – Was there any uproar at the video Chipmunk & Ironik made featuring Elton John (Tiny Dancer) and he is 19, they girls there were WAAY to old for him and they were simulating lesbianism and bondage. The video was world wide acclaimed. If it was up to you, Bow Wow would still be a child in braids & Chris Brown would still be singing songs from when he was 15.

He’s a young man. I cant even count how many people in the clubs over xmas were under was jam packed so don’t act holier than thou like Nigeria is the moral centre of the world..its the same in the UK & US. Hollar at your boy was shot in a classroom setting, you were all quick to judge that what kind of school were they in why weren’t they wearing uniform, urm.. that’s cause it wasn’t SCHOOL.. what if it was in college or even university.

Anyway, I can’t shout.. Go Wiz, love what you’re doing, you’re a young man having fun. Enjoy yourself. Props to Kemi & the rest of the team for having the bravery to shoot a risky theme in a classy way. I’m tired of nonsensical hateration.

Believe me i do not care what others think about this video or what so ever i totally support him on that Video Kemi Adetiba did very well and trust me this Video is the Ish y’all just hating on Banky and not WizKid! Watch and see MTVBase and Soundcity award even Channel O on this one! dont say i dint mention it……ggggggggr!

    • Ginika

      January 18, 2011 at 7:09 pm

Alright my own is that there is another Ginika…

After seeing the video, all I could think of was I hope my 16year old brother, my 18year old (2 of them) cousin and my other 19year old could have their heads grounded well well. Nigeria is in a different era and we cant deny [email protected] worse things are happening. It all depends on what your preferences are. I say watch with caution and if you dont like it, now you know you wont watch it again.

    January 17, 2011 at 5:04 pm

I usually don’t do this on Videos but on lyrics and y’all know i have not been up here of late to judge! now am here…. To me this Video is good – the fact that he’s 10-11-12 or 21 going to club what else is there to sing or film about, you ought to listen to what a song says before you criticize a video plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  27. sola

    January 17, 2011 at 5:56 pm

we take ourselves too seriously in this country….. live a little people. I love d song and see nothing wrong with d video. You all come here and post negative comments about song yet most of you grind away to d same songs in d club.

Video quality is good but the concept is just not the best, there are a lot of other ideas that couldv been a whole lot better, still love whizkid tho…

  33. Timma

    January 17, 2011 at 10:36 pm

I love whizkid and believe he is doing a good job, even if am not really crazy about having ladies in their lingeries in the video, but hey! the truth is that’s the in-thing now, sex sells!Whether we approve of it or not! if you dont like a particular video or u dont like the lyrics, it doesn’t change the fact that he has the talent and he is using it well, beefing him won’t change that fact! Lets be proud of our own for a change abeg!

EPIC FAIL… kemi Adetiba needs to improve her art! I am not impressed!

  35. moi

    January 18, 2011 at 4:15 am

Everyone seem to scream Whizkid is 21…buah he is so not 18 even…If he were really 21, I would probably have said “okay” bt he is not in the legal age yet and he is not even in the category to dream about it….HE is kinda lyk in Justin Bieber or Aaron Fresh category, itumo he s quite young…We all claim the video is alright but seriously would you want your very young teenage sister or daughter to watch it since they are the pple crushing on him and the age target for him since day one. I love whizkid and madly in love with Kemi Adetiba infact to a fault bt dis is a def. no no for me, not just because of me, but because of the generation who are now crazy about MTV and fine teenage boy…Habbba guys dont lets us belittle the koko of the matter, the video is too mature for whizkid, did u not see or recognize the fact that he looked out of place init…Bt the video is alright, if it were for someone else.

  36. TheMaestress

    January 18, 2011 at 6:39 am

Maybe it’s because they are in Abuja that they stripper is wearing leggings 😀 . If you want to shoot a risque video, then go all the way and do just that…no half baked products. And how come the boy is waking up in bed wearing a pink t-shirt after a supposedly wild night of debauchery?
The lyrics got me scratching my head though.

    January 18, 2011 at 7:05 am

This video is rubbish, i’m surprised that you would even put it up. When you have refused to support the only music i see coming out of nigeria. Its obvious that you don’t want Nigerian music to go outside can you imagine an intelligent person listening to this crap? I know bad guys… Tease me? rubbish. Then MTV you guys suck for putting this video up too Alex Okosi you are a bitch ass nigga. Ok before you label me a hater, The video has whiz out of focus the whole time, the angles were shit and it looks like it was shot on an hd handy cam Kemi, come on you know this shit is whack return the dough. shout out whiz kid talented young man, but this isnt a song so t doesnt need a video and should have stayed in the clubs. it was the video that made me notice how whack the song was, but it worked until Kemi Adetiba basterdised it

    • moi

      January 18, 2011 at 4:53 pm

of course it was shot on a handy camera, most Nigerian video if not all are shot with hand cameras that why I always say that having an HD camera doesn’t make u a Pro. But abt Kemi Adetiba bastardizing the song, I dont think so, the song itself doesn’t really have any depth and I believe that no matter who shot it and how they shot it, it would have had the same silliness as this. My opinion, it shouldn’t have been made into video plain and simple

  38. Peperempe

    January 18, 2011 at 6:05 pm

Okay so I’m no prude and have no problems at all with the video or its “message”. However I do have a problem with the general direction of Nigeria as a country as signaled by the appalling music being churned out these days. I mean is this guy for real?

“I know some bad guys eldee, some bad guys samklef, some bad guys (insert name of random “celeb”)….tease me tease tease me baby…(*6)” Really? Let me suggest a little experiment for you guys; When you are driving or just chilling, play this song and then right after play anything at all by S/Sultan, 2face or Gaise and you’ll realize just how dumbed-down our popular music has become.

I thought, after the advise we dispensed following the release of the ghastly “don’t dull”, that the young man would repent and hire some songwriters but alas I was wrong. I hope all the non-haters aka The but-he’s-trying brigade will buy all his records when they come out!

n I love kemi Adetiba, the video was nice to watch with the girls and their french stripper costumes..liked d frilly panties and masks in particular

but erm..still doesnt changed the fact that this ish is fluffy as hell..i know the idea was supposed to be of a young man finally 21 going into adulthood, fufilling his sexual fantasies blah blah. I dunno if theres anyone to blame..its just the state of things as they are…and its not pretty *sigh*

First, Banky W should be ashamed of himself. He tries so hard to emulate the American culture. I mean, the whole craig david dressing up, or the hat that he wears like Neyo is just not working for me. And, don’t get me started on his music.

This is exactly what Usher did with Justin Bieber. So, is that what Banky W is trying to do with this kid? C’mon now, this is not going to work.

All of a sudden, I started dancing…I AM SO EMBARRASED. Geez, the song is kinda catchy. I had to come back to watch the video again, and I just noticed it’s all a dream. This kid and Lynxxx, but I am not gonna lie, they both have some catchy songs.

What ppl seem to forget is that this was a freestyle that went wild so wats all the fuss bout lyrics?! It was a freestyle. The problem with the vídeo was not the concept but the fact that Whizkid looked outta place innit. I loved everything bout the vídeo. Please stop fronting as if na strippers be Naija biggest problem. Who neva see ashawo for street before?! The kid took a chance on that vid, and I commend his effort. Why are we always forming “holier than thou”? If my little girl sees that vídeo, that would be a good chance to educate her on sex and strippers. Rubbish! Big up whiz, kemi your a fool for this one!
