Well, that interview was a one off and its obvious the dude was in another world during that interview. His BET interview was good enuf and satisfactory and so have others been apart frm the last one with Sahara reporters. So i personally wldn”t conclude that he”s rubbish at interviews all b”cos of the last one. However,ur absolutely correct, when it comes to stage performance,he is numero uno!

Heard people had fun. I’ve been a fan of Dbanj from his “Mobolowon” days but was disappointed by his interview with Sahara reporters. I wonder if he would have responded the same way if it were a non-African media asking him the same questions.

Anyone know when Flavour N’abania is coming to the US of A?

Excuse me,wot do u mean by best if i may ask?No one has it all so those names u have listed are equally NOT the best as where one lacks, the other has. They”re all excellent in their own ways.Afterall, when it comes to stage performance,u can”t compare any of Tuface,Psquare etc with D”banj…..SIMPLES!!!

As in???Do u have a clue of what u jus wrote?Agreed,D”banj can be very comical as in the case of “Suddenly” or Oliver Twist”(even tho”they have very good rhymes) but hey, when he chooses to be serious,he sure is as in the case of his songs like “Olorun Maje”,”Mobolowowon”,”Celebrate”,”loke Loke” and a few others which have excellent meanings not forgetting “Fall in love” which is prolly his biggest song so far.His vocals may not be excellent but at least, quite satisfactory and need i mention that P-Square are equally not vocally talented plus wots the lyrical depth of majority of their( P-Square”s )songs if i may ask?Apart from two or three songs of theirs which have concrete meanings and a few others which don”t exactly have lyrical depth but at least have good rhymes, wot else?So that tells u that no one”s best OR is it Fally Ipupa who doesn”t even sing in English language hence ur not understanding wot he sings???Am trying to understand wot u mean by including him(Fally Ipupa) amongst the best…I may excuse Tuface to a slight extent b”cos of his love songs which make sense and his vocals but without a doubt, neither of the names u mentioned nor D”banj is the best.Tuface’s random songs EXCEPT his love songs like i mentioned earlier, equally don”t have particular meanings. However,i may give D”banj slightly more kudos b”cos he is actually a musician in the real sense of the word(as he plays the harmonica like it was made for him) as opposed to P-Square or Tuface who can barely handle any musical instrument.They(Tuface/P-Square) are better referred to as Artistes. All in one, they are excellent in their own ways and they are doing their very best to make us proud. So its more power to their elbow….SIMPLES!!!

I saw D’banj perform in New York sometime in the late summer or early fall of 2007. At the time, I wasn’t even a fan of his. Didn’t get the hype behind tongolo and why me. Until I saw him perform live. Been a fan of his performances since then; not necessarily of his musical talent or voice. Kokolettes screaming and vying to be invited on stage to grind on him. If there’s one thing he knows how to do, it’s give a great performance.

If Wande Coal likes he shouldn’t hit the gym. SMH!

Ikechukwu…he committed a crime. Understand what I’m saying, he committed a crime with that body and swag.
