New Video: Ras Kimono – Veteran

Ras Kimono is one of the pioneers of the Nigerian music industry as a whole and has influenced many an artist in the game today.

Now, he’s back with a new video to his single “Veteran” which, as the name implies, covers issues regarding his experiences and duration as a prominent Nigerian musician. And, you know he does it in his own special Ras Kimono way.

    Na wah for you Raskimono – we don grow nah. Are you trying to take us back to the late 80s / early 90s.We should be moving forward and not backwards.How Can we be listening to the same beat that we heard when were boys? Who wan dance ‘Gimme likkle Suger for me Tea’ for this century?

    I think we love music for different purposes. As for me, Kimono remains the symbol of reggae music anyday. Listen to the lyrics again and get his message. I prefer to listen to this to wasting time on erotic songs that are bereft of inspiration in a sick world. Good outing, the dub master
