BN Music Premiere: Naeto C Feat. D’Banj – Tony Montana Remix

Admirable of them to use their gifts as a career; especially Naeto C who is so well educated!!

Walai, they should not have split (yes, I’m still on that). I just dont hold the same high regard as I did for D’banj and cant enjoy his music like that; and I just see Don Jazzy now as a local champion trying too hard (still love the Don) but he seems more like Jazzy, with no Don.

@Ginika Stay carrying last and stuck in the past. Everyone has moved on!

@coolcat Dbanj has his entire lifetime to expand on his empire and build his craft. So relax with your quick judgment! Btw, so effing what if a UK publication calls him a “one-hit wonder”??? Because the white man has said it then so it is abi??? Grow up. They called Beyonce a no-hit wonder when she began her solo career but today, there’s even no need to mention her last name. Her brand is colossal. Dbanj is determined and clear on what he wants so all you nay-sayers masking yourselves as well-wishers can just have a seat and keep commenting as that is all you’re good at!

More success to Dbanj & DonJazzy!

I never supported mohits split but i wished both parties the best of luck. Doesn’t mean I won’t express my candid opinion though. I just feel dbanj is grasping at straws. As individuals we all aspire to be the best at what we do, with every stage of success we must plan, and expect some failures. Maybe this is dbanj’s failure but I wish he was better prepared for his monumental expansion. With such a publicized split he should know public scrutiny will be at an all time high. I hate to think this is what will follow the success of Oliver twist. Nigerians support our own no matter how bad, but this is not the same for the foreign audience, recently saw a uk blog and dbanj is already being dubbed as a “one hit wonder”.

All these collaboes, lack lustre single is not doing him any good. He needs to go back to the drawing board, look deep into why he really became an artiste, forget all the don jazzy and mohits debacle and churn out some mad hits like we know him for. Somehow I see why mavin album was mostly about the individual artists, did don jazzy know that dbanj cannot do a solo track without some hype from another artiste?

I hope he goes through some of these comments and takes them as constructive criticism. His success is our succes and he needs to realise that Kanye or no Kanye, he is us and we are him. All d best skibanj

@Ginika I feel u, but when ur husband, best friend or colleague say him no do again. U can only beg but @ d end of d day if the person insist u gats to oblige….esp wen u bring elders to even beg. Pls can we just move on and enjoY good music if they can give it to us…1day they will realise and mayb let pride go but they can’t come back again as 2bosses bcos 1 go don pass the other. Ie if they don’t decide soon enough.
Dbanj has scored loads of points on this track and I take back every wrong comment I made on oyato…..sick tune

Nice. Ginika, give it a rest. You are drinking Tylenol for someone else’s headache. go scream in your bathroom if you absolutely have to talk about it or get some therapy
