Fresh off M.I‘s “Illegal Music 2” mixtape and his very own singles, “Elevating” and “Five Blessings”, this talented young rapper, 5Mics is here with a very shocking, conceptual video, “Ray Charles”, a remix of Driicky Graham’s ‘Snapbacks and Tattoos”.

Directed by James Amuta.

wow. this guy is ill, man. his rhymes are on fire. and the video is indeed psychotic. this video is very different from what we’ve been seeing lately – refreshing concept. the director must really have a brilliantly disturbed mind. I can’t wait to listen to some of his songs, though…BellaNaija, where can I download any other tracks by 5 Mics?

I’ve actually met 5Mics in person, and he never struck me as the aggressive type, or even as someone capable of violence or even mimicking violence, so I’m shocked, and yet in awe as I’ve come to now respect him as a good actor. his interpretation of the angry, neurotic, violent guy in this video is classic, for a gentle-natured guy. I love the video, though it’s a little too strong for the stomach, but at least it’s a breath of fresh-air. interesting concept. I had goose bumps, I thought I was watching Chucky – that horror movie from the 90s. damned, this director is a mad man, jor. he was shooting a horror film, not a music video. I like. very much. 5 Mics, you’re a cutie…any day.
