Music’s Onos O Co-Hosts with MTV VJ Ehiz This Week! K-Cee remains Number One on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10

This week, the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 witnessed a huge drop for Davido‘s “Gobe” from number two last week completely off the charts. New entries to the charts this week include Ice Prince Zamani‘s “VIP” and P-Square‘s “Personally”, while Wande Coal Climbs up to the number two spot with “The Kick”Onos O MTV Official Naija Top Ten’s Onos O (@Onos_) joins Ehiz (@SpecialSlim) in the studio for this week’s Official Naija Top 10, to discuss the hottest music videos and songs making a strong impact on the Nigerian music scene.

This week’s Official Naija Top 10 premiered on MTV Base on NTA on Friday 5 July, and can be seen on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322)on Tuesday 9 July @22.00 WAT, on AIT on Tuesday 9 July @ 21.30 WAT, and on STV  on Thursday 11 July @ 18.00 WAT.  Next week’s chart will be revealed on Friday 12 July on NTA @ 23.30 WAT.

The Official Naija Chart is decided by an elite judging panel of Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and taste makers put together by MTV Base including DJ Jimmy JattDJ Xclusive (Cool FM)DJ Humility (Cool FM), Big Time (Rhythm FM), DJ Caise (The Beat FM), Toolz (The Beat FM), Bella Naija entertainment editor Onos O, and Osagie Alonge (Nigerian Entertainment Today).

Premier on NTA – Fridays at 11:30pm |
1st Repeat on AIT -Tuesdays at 9:30pm

    Nigerian contemporary music has come a long way but we need to work on our lyrics. And I don’t mean just one group. No name calling here please.
    We need good song writers. They don’t necessarily have to be musicians.
