With Buzzworthy Roles in MTV’s Shuga & 12 Years A Slave! Lupita Nyong’o is Blazing a Trail! Meet Africa’s Rising Movie Star

Hello guys! There’s a fresh face on the scene and her name is Lupita! This beautiful and talented Kenyan lady was born in Mexico and she is blazing her trail all over to Hollywood.

A graduate of Yale School of Drama school, Lupita Nyong’o has come to the spotlight with the premiere of Steve McQueen‘s movie “12 Years A Slave“. Lupita played the role of Patsey and she was also the lead actress in first season of the MTV award-winning drama series Shuga in 2009 {Click to Watch}. Lupita has also acted on stage while she was doing her MFA in Yale.
