The smaller ship was reportedly transporting cement at the time, then sank with its crew of 12.

One of the passengers has been rescued, however; a search and rescue operation is currently being conducted two find the 11 others.

The rescued man, who is a 46-year-old Chinese national, is currently receiving treatment at a Hong Kong hospital, where his condition is reportedly stable.
