How We Met
by the bride
We met back in college in UK since 2004. We’ve seen each other grow from teenagers to adults. Our friendship and relationship has blossomed into something so beautiful. I chat a lot more and discuss things I probably should discuss with my girlfriends with him. He’s a good listener, well at least pretends to listen...lol…we support each other, we are best friends. We are inseparable.

The Proposal
He proposed to me in Dubai, he had it all planned out. Dinner on Dhow Cruise. I think emotions got the better of him and he decided to propose just before we left for dinner. Considering the fact that the driver came late. I was particularly hungry and tired from being dressed and dolled up for dinner… all I wanted to do was change and fix something to eat. He kept pacifying and stalling me. He kept saying the sweetest things ever. There and then he decided to propose – he went on one knee and boy! Did the waterworks begin! At this point my vision was blurred with tears. I knew he was speaking but couldn’t hear half the things he was saying as all I could hear was myself sobbing..lol.. We went on our Dhow cruise eventually and this is us today.
