At the age of 10, and having only the prospect of becoming a smuggler, Amos Wekesa‘s destiny was turned around when The Salvation Army selected him as a beneficiary for education. He eventually became a tour guide and he believed that his life was finally on track.

Then he aspired for more!

He tells the inspiring story of his upward trajectory on CNN‘s African Voices. He talks of how he has risen against all the odds to become one of the foremost tourist organisation in Uganda.

    Proud of you Wekesa and what you are doing in the tourism world. Uganda is surely beautiful, gifted by nature and indeed the pearl of Africa. I love this documentary on CNN.
