Show yourself, let us see what you look like.. It is so easy to abuse others behind a PC..

    • Thatgidigirl

      October 29, 2014 at 9:29 pm

@ Dammy, be honest to yourself even though you were on that red carpet. Its ratchet as hell!!!! Tacky and distasteful with Z list actors.

    • Dammy Ola

      October 29, 2014 at 10:05 pm

@Thatgidigirl – So it is obvious that you did not attend the event – as you know already know that I was there and i can only give my candid opinion, based on what I saw. You are certainly disconnected with what happened GIAMA, so I can’t respond intelligently with someone that is obviously hating.

Blood of Jesus, i need to get this out:

    PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

    GUYS
When you are invited to a red carpet event where awards are being given out, the only acceptable attires are

    1. Black Tuxedo
    2. White (with black lapels) tuxedo jacket, and black pants (preferably tuxedo pants)
    3. Midnight blue tuxedo blazer with black pants (preferably tuxedo pants)
    4. Black Suit
5.. AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT: A BLACK BOW TIE (not neck tie, BOW TIE) WITH PLAIN WHITE SHIRT

    (OBVIOUSLY, EVERYTHING SHOULD BE TAILORED)

This is not the time for you to show us your fashion skills.. (No jeans or that atrocity Uti is wearing), It is tacky and just NOT acceptable…. and you risk looking like a clown like many men photographed here

    • Roe

      December 3, 2014 at 2:39 pm

Thank you oh, please help tell Uti Nwachukwu by now he must have a tailor. All those tight trousers he wears are not fashionable. Tacky, Ratchet, Obscene

  6. ak

    October 29, 2014 at 8:25 pm

It looks like a red curtain one would find in tejuosho market.. Like for real UTI

Alex just messed his good look with that checkered blazer…. stick with black….

and if you do go for checkered blazer look, wear checkered pants too… or even better, WEAR A BLACK TUXEDO!

This Giama awards should be renamed RAA awards(Royal arts academy awards) as the only people that win or nominated are those that are affiliated or have acted in their movies.

    • Dolly

      October 30, 2014 at 1:46 am

lmao I swear i just thought about that, so on point esp. when mother royal arts academy has all her hens attending.

    • Caro

      October 30, 2014 at 3:33 am

Then I guess the AMVCA’s should named the ‘Kunle Afolayan Awards’ or the ‘Rita Dominic Awards’ because both have won awards there!! Your comment is so lame! try something else. This one is so tired!!

    You guys are funny.
What came to mind seeing these photos was the article from Mr socialite. But in this case, the men photographed here seriously need help. Almost all the men look chubby, what are they eating? ??
They’re chubby, yet they wear tight suits. Don’t wear a suit if you don’t have to biko.

  15. benny

    October 29, 2014 at 9:28 pm

Ini Edo looking like Snooki when snooki was snooki before she revamped her image.
Ezinne from CEO dancers and that tacky onesie. If she join this her shokoto with that Tiwa Savage’s dastardly outfit for her “Wanted” video, it will form pinafore; not a good looking pinafore but a better outfit their individual crimes against fashion.
Uti it is not a fight abeg. Posing like time travelled from the Igodo era.
the best look of thenight goes to the RED CARPET; the only character that turned up dressed for the event.

    • Hahaha

I have finally come to the conclusion after seeing way too many Nigerian women displaying their boobies that it is part of their accessories so it needs to be displayed and flaunted like any other accessories they own. Naija men looking like peacocks as usual 😀

I maintain that the first GIAMA was the BEST! But this one wasn’t bad either. They just need to stop doing African time!! Belinda and Ivie were looking HOT! The rest… And as for Uti, he needs to stop with these outrageous coats abi na suits and start wearing mature outfits that are actually his size. Was he not advising on hygiene just the other day? Oya now we advice you on clothing.
