According to, a US online publication, President Goodluck Jonathan is the 6th richest African president.

In the article titled “9 Richest African Presidents and Kings of 2014,” the website states that Jonathan’s estimated net worth is $100 million.

Here is the ranking of the other leaders, as listed on the site:

8. Idriss Deby (Chad) – Net Worth: $50 Million

6. King Mswati III (Swaziland) – Net Worth: $100 Million (a tie with Jonathan)

    How did they calculate this? Swaziland and Zimbabwe are swimming in debt yet their presidents are Rich?
    I am somehow glad that my President (Pres. J. Zuma) is not on the Top 9, otherwise it was gonna cause problems in parliament.
