New Video: Yemi Alade featuring Phyno – Taking over Me



yemi aladeAfter dropping ‘Taking over Me’ as a single a few weeks ago, Yemi Alade’s fans have been looking forward to the video and it has finally been released.

Featuring Phyno, the video was shot in South Africa and Nigeria and it was directed by Justin Campos and Taiye Aliyu.

      I mean, the way he looks, you expect that to translate to what comes out of his mouth (maybe you expect a forced american accent), na ebe kwanu? Na bush igbo go just dey pour. And we’re still loving all of it.

    The chorus did it for me.
    Yemi I know its really difficult to stay on top but please be careful.
    The verses were boring but nice video.

    Nice song and video but she should watch it so she doesnt go the Wizkid route of every song sounding similar to the previous…..The Johnny beat and feel are all over this song.

      I think get what you mean,
      also lyk wizzy, even if you’ve concluded his songs are similar sounds, you end up finding yourself singing it. And they become club bangers.
      Yemi likely has same thing
