Nigerian Military Arrests Boko Haram Terrorists Disguised as Women in Baga

Published

 on

boko womanDirector of Defence Information, Chris Olukolade on Monday stated that the military had arrested Boko Haram terrorists disguised as women in Baga, Borno State.

Olukolade revealed this via a statement, Punch reports:

The cordon and search in Baga has revealed some terrorists disguising as women.

The searches are also yielding more discoveries of arms especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga town.

Apart from those captured in the course of fighting, many terrorists hiding in the town are being arrested and troops are still busy interrogating the suspects.

In furtherance of the mission to clear terrorists from all their enclaves by the military, the Nigerian Air Force has stepped up its air bombardments of identified targets in Gwoza, Bama and Sambisa forest, preparatory to other phases of the mission.

The air strikes have been highly successful as they achieved the aims, hitting vital targets with required precision. Terrorists are now in disarray as they scamper to escape from the impact of air bombardment of their locations in the forest.

Here are additional photos said to be of the military’s searches in Baga:

Looks photoshopped to me. Doesn’t look like her Ankara outfit was naturally worn. The grainy pictures look suspect. They said many were dressed as women? Where are the others? Pdp propaganda…

And the burning vehicles too look photoshopped? And you want to start an APC propaganda in return? When are we going to stop bringing politics into everything in this country? Whether APC or PDP, we are Nigeria. We are Nigerians.

I do share same concern. The moment I saw the picture, something was odd about it. Looks really photoshopped and this is not about politics. If people would be true to themselves and look at that picture closely, they would see its clearly photoshopped. By the way, who goes around trying to disguise as a woman with beards?

People sha…… Boko Haram is running rampant, we call the Nigerian government and military weak, Nigerian Military starts assault on Boko Haram we say, we are not seeing pictures so they are lying. They give us pictures, we are not satisfied with the pictures, so now it’s propaganda…..So they should publish every single picture that they take?? Please let’s not try to politicise everything and be grateful that we are getting results….we cannot be on social media talking any kind of way because Boko Haram has not spread yet….we should be glad when we see steps being take to curtail them because truth be told, Nigeria has a serious border problem and if they attempt to spread to the rest of the country, we are in big trouble.

May God continue to help our military to victory. These miscreants deserve to die just as they’ve killed and destroyed lots.

I am a big supporter of the Nigerian army.
I am not saying this to disparage their gallant efforts on the war front but that first picture looks photoshopped. The second one with him sitting sideways looks more real. The rest are authentic.
I don’t understand why they would need to fake that particular picture so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the picture was blurry and somebody decided to enhance just the face.

Pls fellow Nigerians, why can’t we be reasonable for once. Do we have to criticise everything or attach politics to issues. Most of you sitting in the comfort zone of your homes and criticize the military who goes into the hideout of the terrorists risking their lives, Yet you will not have the courage to stand up to the taut who harrases u at the bustop or the thief who visits u at night. Our Nigeria Army is doing a great job lets hail and encourage them. The greatest service you can render to your country is to put your life on the line for your country. God bless Nigerian.
