Ex Youth Corper is Making Sculpture of Pres. Jonathan to Honour Him – PHOTOS
A former youth corper is currently creating a sculpture of President Goodluck Jonathan to honour him.
According to various online news sources, the individual’s name is Ezemagu Sunday Nnamdi, and he was one of the people who helped raise funds for the president’s nomination form which cost N2 million. Nnamdi is said to have donated N10,000 for the cause.
Reports further state that he started creating the sculpture two weeks ago in Jonathan’s hometown, Otuoke in Bayelsa State. Nnamdi hails the president as “a hero of democracy.”

What in the hell is an ex youth corper abeg???? A large percentage of working Nigerians are ex corp members, but haven’t taken it as a title. If he doesn’t have a job or a business, isn’t it better and more dignifying to call him a job seeker? Everybody is an ex something….ex beauty queen from 1912 (aka aunty Nike), ex baby mama, me sef na ex teenager.

@Thatgidigirl, O sun mi o. You know we love to cling on to titles in Nigeria, relevant or not. In fact i am still surprised that bills have not been passed to that effect to make it statutory. My guy would have thought that In the absence of a new befitting title, (as a result of unemployment) the old one can still suffice and make sense. But i am led to think in most cases, BN admin are the ones guilty of this improper headings to introduce their posts.
*Architect* Sambo hello…
PS. I would rather have a sculpture of my beautiful mother or father in front of my house than one distant fella whose only claim to fame was being president by serendipity

Lol! I saw that too and wondered, then I assumed it meant he must be unemployed and looking for a job.

Wolverine claws for hands anyone? The resemblance is uncanny.. Having said that, *sigh* “a hero of democracy?” The last time I checked the constitution if your time was up as president, you were supposed to abdicate the position. If you had been an ineffectual ****face, then really you had no grounds on which to stand so you are supposed to crawl away from the position.. Its what should be the norm. But I understand Nigerian history. It has been a while since someone was so graceful about defeat. Hero of democracy? All our dead freedom leaders must be rolling in their graves. I think BN is trolling. You just find that phrase that will send people into a frenzy and I fell for it.

Bella naija writers don’t understand that they lead cultural trends.please don’t be ignorant of the words and titles you continue to establish in our society. Just from the title alone just made me dismiss the whole cause and not appreciate the work.but good job nonetheless mr nnamdi I hope someone sees beyond your ex corper status and gives you a job to continue your great talent.

Methinks if he’s good with sculpting as evident in the picture, he doesn’t need a job anymore. Not everyone should do regular 9-5, rather than wait for a job he can develop this talent and make money. But what do I know!??

Really nice work, Ezemagu. May God bless the work of your hands. You truly are talented, and the materials you used for the hat different from that of the body… nice touch.

I think he is incredibly talented given that he had little to work with. He should take his time to clean it up and come up with a more defined completed look. That is an amazing art work right there and the guy does deserved attention and exposure for his talent. With amount of attention we give to bleachers, party hoppers and famous for nothings, this person is actually goods at something.
