Gov. Fayose Distributes Sallah Rams to Muslims in Ekiti – PHOTOS

Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose is in a generous mood this festive Sallah season.

In what he describes as “a demonstration of love an support,” on Tuesday, he distributed rams to Muslims in the state, for the celebration of this year’s Id-El-Kabir, Vanguard reports.

Fayose has refuted allegations that he gave away the rams for political reasons, stating that he performed the action out of the goodness of his heart.

when you do something out of the goodness of your heart, why do you carry a microphone to announce it? (and i mean literally carry a microphone) did Jesus announce his good deeds? Shior!

When you are a politician you are NOT supposed to do things ‘your way’. That is the one position where that should not be allowed. People still do not understand the concept of democracy.

I swear it baffles me how these governors just think is ok to do things like this because they are capable. Don’t get me wrong he’s doing great but damm do something to benefit others and not just the Muslims after all, the States is consist of all types/kinds of human beings from different works of life.. Just my quarter cent.

It’s about time somebody in Ekiti State or from Ekiti State should take this no good, Prodigal governor to court to force him to pay back all the state money he has wasted on certain individuals back to the State government’s coffers. This is another reason why some states can not pay salaries to their employees. If Ekiti State government has got it like that, why not save the money for the rainy day. after all, It’s not compulsory for every Muslim to kill a Ram during the Ileya festival.. Particularly those who can not afford it. why use your state governments money like that. Enough is enough, Somebody needs to stop this foolishness before Fayose will bankrupt Ekiti State. A word is enough for the wise I’m just saying.
