Breaking the ‘Bridal Rules’! Beauty Boudoir, Charis Hair & AO Photography’s STUNNING New Shoot

Published

Charis Hair, Beauty Boudoir, AO Photography, GroomInspiration Wedding - Black Bride Beauty Looks - BellaNaija 2015-CSwedding shoot 757copy1The brains behind AO Photography, Beauty Boudoir & Charis Hair joined forces once again to create a perfect bridal hair & makeup look book; but this time they were joined by GroomInspiration, providing something for the guys.

Their last collaboration was a hit – click here if you missed it – one of the images of Imelda is in our top 10 most liked photos on Instagram EVER!

Today’s shoot showcases different ways of wearing your hair and makeup uniquely as a modern bride/bride-to-be, while matching your groom/groom to be.

For the hair, Tola says,

“The hairstyles were inspired by vintage timeless updos infused with modern creative curls, giving that perfect classic style with a modern twist (stepping out of the norm).”

Imelda broke the ‘bridal rules’ with the makeup,

“Everyone thinks bridal makeup should be nude and subtle but there are no rules against having colour infusions or bold looks to contrast nicely with the white wedding dress. For instance, adding a hint of blue eyeliner can be your “something blue” or even opting for a classic red lip to make that walk down the aisle have and even bigger impact.”

Here are a few looks put together by the team, covering the pre-wedding to the white wedding.

Be inspired!

This is a normal, generic photoshoot. How is this stunning in any way?

the focus of the shoot is more on the hair than make-up & clothes..which are stunning by the way and brides to be are usually looking for ideas so i’m pretty positive they will appreciate the post

Nice! Is there more between imelda of beauty boudouir and Fiyin of groom inspiration? i remember she posted a picture of both of them on IG some time ago wearing an engagement ring and people were congratulating them, she got shy and deleted the photo lol! That Charis Hair girl on the other hand is too overated! I dont see anything special about her work. Her hair styles always look messy to me. The photographer on the other hand AO photography is one rude fellow. I made an enquiry a while ago and i thought his response was very rude..not good for business

I thought I was the only one that noticed! I wanted to respond with congratulations but she has already deleted the ig post.
