#HeinekenLFDW2015 Fashion Awards: Maki Oh, Zashadu, Mai Atafo, Ejiro Amos Tafiri & Kelvin Godson Emerge Winners!

And that marks the end of the Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week for 2015. It’s been an amazing 4 days, and we have seen so many established and upcoming designers prove that they deserve a spot on the global fashion scene.

But, before you take off your fashion goggles, we have one more thing to cover that will bring the night to a close – The LFDW at 5 Awards.

This award is given to a member of the Fashion Focus alum, who is making waves in fashion and retailing. The big winners were announced a few minutes ago, just after the Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi showcase, and it is our pleasure to let you in on all the scoop.

Womenswear Designer of the Year – Amaka Osakwe of Maki Oh

Menswear Designer of the Year – Ohimai Atafo of Mai Atafo Inspired

Outstanding Emerging Designer of the Year – Ejiro Amos Tafiri of Ejiro Amos Tafiri
Ejiro was presented the award, as well as the sum of 1 Million Naira as well as the award.

Accessories Designer of the Year – Zainab Ashadu of Zashadu

Outstanding Model of the Year – Kelvin Godson
Kelvin received a cash prize of Five Hundred Thousand Naira as well as the award!
