Sunday Oliseh Flown to Belgium for Urgent Medical Treatment

Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh, was flown to Belgium for treatment yesterday due to a deteriorating health condition.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) released the following statement on Oliseh’s condition via social media, ThisDay reports:

“Coach Sunday Oliseh has returned to Belgium to continue treatment after being advised by Eagles medics. He became dizzy and weak after lunch on Thursday and he travels abroad tonight (yesterday) through the Port Harcourt Airport.”

      I can not believe that people have the nerve to laugh at anothers ill health. Its not funny. Can happen to anyone even your idiot self. It’s macabre laughing at another man’s predicament. What in the hell is wrong with people. Culture less, negative exposure, lacking basic education. Hope he disappoints his enemies and gets better real quick.

    It’s so sad that people have to fly out of Nigeria for medical care. We as a country lose so much money to medical tourism, it’s ridiculous. Our health care system needs a major overhaul, and our government needs to invest in research, financing our medical education, system, and centers, and giving doctors incentives to stay in the country.
