Honourable Dipo Olorunrinu wins InsideMainland Person of The Year 2015

The Honourable Dipo Olorunrinu, representing Amowu-Odofin Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly has been chosen as the first InsideMainland Person of the Year. InsideMainland’s team said Hon. Olorunrinu’s political milestones, and his consistent engagement with his constituency stood him out on the Lagos Mainland in 2015.

As an opposition candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), many would have counted him out of the race to the Lagos State House of Assembly as Lagos was firmly in the grip of the ruling All Progressive Party (APC).

“Frankly speaking I am more of a grassroots person who takes time out for the people of my constituency to attend to issues. Honestly God is the lead and source of everything I do and the people can testify to that,” Hon. Dipo told InsideMainland on his victory in the 2015 elections.

He engaged every level of the local security structures in Amuwo-Odofin in search of solutions to the criminality in the area, especially in Festac Town.

He visited the hotspots and engaged the victims. These steps won the commendation of the InsideMainland team.
