From Vegas to Paris and then to Dubai! BN Living Presents Stella’s 40th Birthday | Zapphaire Events

After sending an e-invite with the quote “It takes a Long Time to Grow Young!”, Stella‘s guests knew they were in for a fabulous 40th birthday celebration. With initial plans to celebrate her big day in Ghana, the exchange rates convinced her to do something special in Lagos instead so she decided to give her guests a ‘destination experience’ with the help of events dream team, Zapphaire and it’s sister company Décor by Furtullah. The outcome was splendid!

Stella picked a 3-in-1 themed party at ‘De Venue‘ on Water Corporation Drive, V.I. Lagos, which she dubbed the “Feisty 76er-Fun Factory”.

Upon arrival at the Feisty 76er-Fun Factory, guests were welcomed into a Las Vegas themed cocktail reception area by the Zapphaire hostesses aptly dressed in corsets, tutus and fishnets. As the guests made their way through the red carpet, they passed the casino backdrop, which had slots machines in view. After which they stopped by the wall of fame, photo booth and a life-size cutout portrait to take pictures.

After Vegas, the guests enjoyed dinner in Paris with face masks for an ‘Opera’ setting in 1840’s era of the city of love and lights. Guests were entertained by burlesque dancers (skimply clad) who choreographed some nice moulin rouge routines that thrilled the guests while they were served strawberries for their champagne.

After dinner in Paris, Décor by Furtullah transformed the Las Vegas Cocktail area into an Arabian nights lounge area for the after party. Hostesses had yet again changed into black skinny jeans, tank tops and kimonos, poised to welcome the guests to Dubai.

Immediately after dinner the guests were issued with varying kinds of LED glasses to replace the masks worn in Paris together with other glow props. There was a cabana stand, shisha pipes with different flavours and an LED dance floor. Stella joined her guests on the LED dance floor, in a black (with multi-colored hues) glittering jumpsuit and partied into the morning until 4am!

What a night! Stella and her guests ended up with experiences from three different cities without leaving Victoria Island! All perfectly brought to life by the fantastic teams at Zapphaire and Décor by Furtullah!
