I can tell you why.. as a Bayelsan, the reason for the delay was because of the elections… Dickson promised heaven and earth about the burial and subsequently used his death as a political tool against the will of the family..after winning.. Dickson had overspent… according to him… so they needed funds to give Alamco a befitting burial…. thus the delay…

what is your definition of befitting burial? my brother all what the family of alams and dickson gov. are doing about his death makes it somehow questionable. An elder statesman, former gov. of Bayelsa? It is well God bless Nigeria.

They have to do a public lying in state o! Otherwise, the rumours that he eloped and did a plastic surgery for fear of being recaptured by the Brits is true

I agree… I am a bayelsa but unto we see lying in state.. I no go believe… All tht story is not new… plus the useless proof they gave last year was even more suspicious.. how would someone’s brother be taking a selfie in the hospital room of the deceased.. trying to “subtly” show us the body.. abeggi
