Inside Olajumoke’s New Apartment | Exclusive Photos

Olajumoke Orisaguna and her family have moved into their apartment!

The family was offered an apartment by Sujimoto Construction just as she catapulted to fame following her ThisDay Style cover. Now, they are enjoying their new living space which according to statements by MD/CEO of Sujimoto Construction, Sijibomi Ogundele will be available rent-free for 5 years.

The breadseller turned model has also been enrolled in the Poise Academy for immediate resumption of classes. Olajumoke will be at the Academy for the rest of the year.

Yesterday, she and her family paid a courtesy visit to Sujimoto Construction in appreciation of what the Luxury Real Estate Company has done for her and her family.

      April 14, 2016 at 5:53 pm

It was Publicity stunt for them to bring attention to their business for potential customes. I knew it was too good to be true to give her a house for free.

    • Abk

      April 14, 2016 at 3:10 pm

It says rent free for 5 years. After 5 years, she hopefully should be able to be rent her own apartment or buy a small house in an affordable area. Her husband shouldn’t stay idle too. I hope she has people who’ll teach her how to save and invest.

    • Ebony

      April 15, 2016 at 3:14 pm

Yes but even people that have not been idle, have worked and saved cannot really afford such “luxury homes” to rent coupled with other expenses like child education.
The fear is that after being exposed to a certain standard of living, they may have to downgrade (hopefully not)

Sujimoto tried, atleast it would save them cost that wld otherwise have gone to rent.
How many things have our Government done. They build low cost Houses that still cost like 10m or more to acquire. After each commissioner/Senator have bout like 10 each to rent out to ppl, then they sell d remaining to those who can afford it.
Even Newly constructed Tejuosho Mkt stall is millions to acquire..

    • e-bukun

      April 14, 2016 at 3:01 pm

That’s broom for ewedu I presume.

    • Abk

      April 14, 2016 at 3:13 pm

It’s not a cleaning broom, it’s the one specifically made for ewedu, that’s why it’s hanging there cause it’s basically a kitchen utensil. People should realize that they can use their blender or food processor, which does a better job. I know this and I dont even eat ewedu so I’m astonished as to why people still use the ewedu brooms.

    • The real Ibinabo

      April 14, 2016 at 2:46 pm

Nothing is stopping you from helping her get a job or giving her a house when her tenancy expires. People just like to sit back and complain when others are taking action #hiss

    • Wanderlust _Trekeffect

      April 14, 2016 at 2:54 pm

They have given her more than enough to kick start something, they can’t baby sit her forever, she has the opportunity today that people spend their lives praying for daily but never get. She is a big girl and her husband is no kid either so I trust they’ll be smart enough.

Her story is one of SERIOUS GOODLUCK, that is referred to the new money status. But look at those pictures well, she looks tired, she should not look that tired. I think she has no features of a model and would never be a world class model. There is just this plainess about her. I hope they’re not making her do funny things yet.

    Hmmmm,if i say what’s on my mind.

Sujimoto e se oooo, una well done.
Wonder what the cost of renting an apartment would be 5yrs from now.. Jummy i pray you keep moving from one level of grace to another.

Wonder why the yoruba movie industry have not had her on board yet,if am not wrong in TY’s post after the this day cover, she mentioned Olajumoke said she would love to act…I definitely would love to see her in movies and acting is a more sustainable career than modeling..

If she can’t pay afford to continue the rent after 5yrs then shame on her. Five years is a long time to sort ur finances in line with ur current circumstances to adequately plan ahead for the future.

If she’s not under contract to rent out the apartment, she can have the option of monetising the place at a fee while she rents a place she can afford to rent, pocketing the difference.

This is a Big deal. I know the weight that will be lifted off my shoulders if I have an opportunity not to pay rent for five straight years. In my case that is over 2M Naira saved!

    She’s very lucky.

Na wa o. Some people are asking about what she will do in 5 years? Obviously find a new place. Na beans? I wish someone would let me live 6 months rent free talk less of 5 years. They should use this opportunity to save well and hopefully buy/build their own place.

even if u wna take pics.. why so unrealistic… first off people dont just wear matching outfits to sit in their house, secondly she is not cooking anything in that pot.. because.. the counter is completely empty.. when hv u known nigerians to cook and there is no single, maggi, salt, leaves, or even oil in sight… thirdly.. and this is a big one.. the stove is not on

@anon dat is my concern as well ,will this “OLUJUMOKE” euphoria last as long as 5 year so she can sutain the standard of life they are being introduced to? lets not forget electricity bill (bigger house, bigger appliances,= heavy bills),water bill and all what not.Anyways GOD that brought her this far will definitely see them through

  29. Pepco

    April 14, 2016 at 8:56 pm

These people have just set this family off in a fools paradise . Why couldn’t they have just given her the 5 year rent cash. For herself and her husband to decide how to invest that money. And gradually get to the point were they can comfortably afford to rent a place like this from their investments. Which kind added pressure is this. I actually thought they had given her the house now she’s got a deadline in which she is supposed to be able to afford the upgrade she didn’t ask for. Just reminds me of those buy now pay later deals. I hope the hype last.

    • Mabel

      April 14, 2016 at 11:02 pm

It is never good to just throw money at people, especially people who are not used to it. If you can’t sort yourself out in five years then you will never sort out yourself. I wish someone would set me up to live rent free in a luxury apartment for just one year. I would be swimming in dough.

For what is worth I strongly suggest that BOTH Olajumoje and her husband be enrolled at This Poise Academy so they can learn together; so no one becomes more educated than the other. Or else this marriage will not last o

  32. Ch

    April 15, 2016 at 8:34 am

I just can’t seem to understand how pple (BNers) use panadol for another person’s headache, All of you wondering if she’ll be able to afford the rent in 5 years time, do you have your rent for 5years time in your pockets already? Nonsense…..

  33. Deep Soul

    April 15, 2016 at 10:00 am

You truly can never satisfy people in this life.

The goal should be to get Jumoke on her feet and give her the tools to make a better life for herself. 5 years is a LOT of time…..enough to even graduate from a university.

If she isn’t able to stand on her feet 5 years from now, it wold be entirely her fault.

If someone pays my rent for the next 5 years, I’d have saved N 10 million

The house does not even look so beyond her reach that she’ll be unable to sustain that lifestyle. Looks like a regular house whose interior was just tushed up a little.

Whether Sujimoto did it as PR stunt or from the goodness of his heart, you cannot take away the impact he just had on this family’s life.

See people complaining sha. Tufiakwa! Be positive!

  34. kina

    April 15, 2016 at 11:35 am

I no right it’s a false economy based on a hype. People are saying they’ll be setup for life if given 5 years rent free. That maybe the case if you were given a property that a true economic projection suggest that you will be able to continue to afford in the long run. Right now her economy is based on a Hype. And to be honest how stable is it to base ones future on a hype. Besides Ola might have other financial responsibility and even added now that her friends and family would assume that she has made it. Thanks to the irresponsible hype. What I would do is sublet the house rent a smaller property. She may decide or not to help set her husband up in a secure buisness or apprenticeship leading to a secure job. She might even decide to set up a secure buisness for herself. It’s not all about the bling fast life fast money. It should really be about helping people sustain themselves realistically. There are a lot of lessons yo be learnt here.
