Former Minister Kidnapped in Ogun Regains Freedom

Former Minister of State for Education, Iyabo Anisulowo who was kidnapped alongside her security aide on Wednesday by armed men along Igbogila road in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun state has regained freedom.

Channels Television reports that Anisulowo who also served as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria between 2003 and 2007 was rescued in a town called Gbegbelawo near Olorunda Town in Ogun State at about 7 PM on Tuesday, May 3rd.

Channels Television also confirmed that the Police has arrested two suspects in connection to the kidnap.
