Yes, he has a black father n a white mother, but how does it matter? He’s fighting for a great cause, so say something positive and keep it moving or say nothing at all. There’s no need for unnecessary shade. tIANA June 28, 2016 at 2:30 pmjohn doe – no am not the reason why the world is upside down – i applauded him for what he is doing – but he is as much white as black – in the uk we see him as mixed not black – all forms in the uk have a tick box for mixed.. so you know who you are,… – to me it just doesn’t show the world what a black person really look like but we all know the truth i suppose – carry on claiming your black. Huh June 28, 2016 at 11:19 amWhat does a white man see when he looks at a mixed race man? A black man. Trayvon Martin was lightskinned and still got shot. He may not even be mixed. There are Igbo people that are lightskinned with grey, green and blue eyes. So what’s your point exactly? That lightskinned or mixed race people are less black or struggle less? Struggled to find the sense in your comment. Clearly you know little about what goes on in America or any European country and it’s pretty obvious you’ve never lived there either. tIANA June 28, 2016 at 2:23 pmhuh calm down i just asked a question – now i was right he is mixed – i live in london and have done so since i was born – most of us would class him as mixed not black – sorry – it is what he is – why do black people get offended if mixed people say they re mixed – you prefer them to say black – well they are as much white as they are black – fact ferrari June 28, 2016 at 11:26 amHe is mixed. His mother is white but that should not stop him from recognizing black women or recognizing his black heritage and standing for it. Besides in the US even if you are a quarter black you are considered black, not white. as long as you are mixed with some other race you are not white but the other race. it is unfortunate but that right the is the problem with the US. Tara June 28, 2016 at 1:20 pmRace works differently in America though. Even though he is mixed race and a very European looking one, he will always be treated like a black man just with a few minor added privileges due to his light skin. Williams has acknowledged that he is biracial and has privileges but he has always been an avid supporter of black civil rights tunmi June 28, 2016 at 4:00 pmI get what you’re saying. Acknowledge that your are mixed and that you do get certain privileges black folks don’t. I have not seen him speak on colorism though, although it is important. ev June 28, 2016 at 4:58 pmEver heard of the one drop rule? tiana June 29, 2016 at 10:56 amyou mean the slave rule which means that people with any drop of colour won’t be able to claim land.. does this apply to latin and chinese mix or italian and asian mix – i take that it doesn’t – stupidity i call it – physically mixed looks mixed and also scientifically it is mixed – this is very personal to me and i get offended by it. They went to INternational School Ibadan…..wendy looked good Reply Iris June 28, 2016 at 1:34 pmI love Wendy, but sometimes I don’t know…she sounds so ignorant. Just because she doesn’t know who Tom Hiddleston is doesn’t mean the rest of the world doesn’t. She watches Life Channel and ID channel while a lot of people watch Thor and Avengers so we kmow who Loki is, thank you very much. He is very much bigger than Hot Topics. Secondly, I’m pretty sure Bond isn’t selected based on popularity. How many people had heard of Daniel Craig before he became Bond? They don’t need America’s blessing to pick their UK actor. Mtchew. Reply fabsomebody June 28, 2016 at 5:23 pmAre you minding Wendy?? Madam oversabi. So cos you don’t know him means he’s a nobody? Abeg shift go one side joor. We know Loki!!!!!!
