From AKA to Yemi Alade…African Stars are Ready to Take Over L.A for the 2016 #BETAwards!

Just a few more days to the official 2016 BET Awards which will be held on June 26, in Los Angeles.

Our African stars are so involved this year and it makes it all the more exciting to keep up with the BET experience. While we can’t wait to see who bags the “Best International Act: Africa” award, there is so much more to look out for at this year’s event.

So far several stars have been spotted in L.A as they prepare for the show.

Maria Okan, Tosin Ajibade, Ehiz, AKA, Bonang Matheba, Nandi Mngoma, Lerato Kganyago and more have started sharing updates from their BET experience.

Covering the red carpet at the event is South African TV presenter Nandi Mngoma who will be giving viewers a first-hand look at all the A-list celebs who will be walking the red carpet.

Some Nigerian stars like Yemi Alade and Wizkid are already in the US and are nominated for the “Best International Act: Africa” award.
