The grand finale of the 2016 Mr World competition will be held on Tuesday 19th July 2016 in Southport, UK.

Name: Selorm Tay
Age: 25
Bio: Selorm lives in Accra, Ghana’s capital city. A Marketing graduate, he aims to start his own chain of fitness centres across Ghana, utilizing his entrepreneurial skills. Fitness is important to Selorm, who enjoys playing basketball, swimming and working out to stay trim. A caring individual, he enjoys spending time with his family, and volunteers at the local orphanage, teaching literacy and basketball to the children.

Name: Kevin Oduor Owiti
Age: 20
Bio: Kevin is a Business Management student from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. With an athletic build, he loves to play all kinds of sports, from football to kickboxing, and he is a keen musician, particularly the drums. Aside from business, he is keen on modelling, and hopes to make a name for himself internationally in the future. His favourite music is gospel, and his favourite book is Ben Carson’s Think Big.

What would a typical workout involve for you? Fifteen minutes on the treadmill for a warm up, weights depending on the part of the body worked out and finish with a sprinting warm down.
Who is your greatest role model? Kofi Annan. An individual who took his time to bring about peace in Kenya between our leaders during the post-election violence.
What is the most extreme thing you have ever done? Running a 21k endurance race in the scorching sun

Why did you enter Mr World? To prove to the world that a man has a purpose too, with his beauty and also to fully represent my country.

Name: Michael Amilo
Age: 27
Bio: Michael loves fashion. A Medical Science graduate and ex-gym trainer, he has the brains and the brawn to do whatever he wants, and fashion is what he wants, aiming to learn about fashion design in the UK. Swimming, working out and dance also interest Michael, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. Hip Hop, RnB, and gospel are his favourite music genres.

South Africa
Name: Armand Du Plessis
Age: 27
Bio: Armand hails from Johannesburg, where he is a Candidate Attorney. With two Law degrees, his ambition is to become an advocate, potentially for disenfranchised children. When relaxing, Armand loves to travel, revelling in new lands and new words, whilst giving him a chance to work on his photography. His favourite artist is Josh Groban, and he particularly enjoys Italian and South African cuisine.

What would a typical workout involve for you? For Mr World I have undergone lots of training, involving CrossFit, weight training, swimming, dancing, and cardio.
