Having a good door is not just about security, bad doors can cause harms that will leave a lasting scar in our minds.
I work in a hospital and this contest made me remember 25th December 2015, the door leading to the ICU back door, was broken and for logistics reason was billed to be replaced in January.
A child of 4 years came with his mother who was in labour, the pains made the woman not to take notice of when the boy left.
We heard shouts and running to the ICU section where d sound came from, we saw a little boy bleeding from the left eye and jaw, the door had cut him deeply. We had to do an emergency surgery on him.
His parents sued us for damages because the scar from the surgery will always remain visible on his face.
We lost money and some patients who saw what happened vowed never to patronise us again.
The doors were changed that same day and we would have averted this if only we had EMILINKS door from inception.
#Thank you EMILINKS for saving lives
# EMILINKS, simply the best

2) bibie – Thank you emilinks] and bella naija for taking me down memory lane . lol . I remember a typical bad door ordeal.. My room mate had this guy she has dated for years.. And on this fateful day, he called her and told her they will b having a dinner date he made arrangements for a car to pick her up. My roomie and I were very excited cos we only see things like that in the movies. We used our last bucks to go shopping cos she had to look spectacular. After all the fussing about, she was ready. I had done her makeup and her hair and I couldn’t wait for the gist of how it all went down. The car came and she was ready to leave, I saw her off to door,as she was about walking through the open door, her dress got caught on one of the many nails comin out of our door and it tore the beautiful red dress. Wev bin asked to fix that door for a while or get a new one but we were just nonchalant about it. My roomie bursted into tears. I calmed her down and tried to look for a solution to the dress. It took us an hour to find a way out. Well I guess the boyfriend was tired of waiting and calling so he jst came home and proposed to my roomie in the room.. Lol. Yea he had arranged a romantic proposal but she missed out on it. It hurt her so much, thanx to our silly door. I felt really bad. But thank God he got to hear of emilinks doors from a friend and surprised us with a door from them. Its bin awesome since then. No torn clothes, no missed surprises lol.. Thank you emilinks for affordable quality.

3) Annastasia E. – The embarrassing story of my door. There’s this guy in school have been crushing on. We were able to meet one day and we started talking, that’s how we became friends. One day I invited him over to my house, and he accepted. I was very happy.i tidied up my house one would think I was expecting royalty. On the fateful day he was to come, I prepared food, freshened up and donned on my best wear.. I just had to look good. Finally. I heard a knock on the door, it was him I guess, I rushed to open for him and usher him in. In my excited state, I tripped and in my struggle to find balance, I pushed him causing his shirt to be caught by a rusted nail on my door. It even got him injured and tore his shirt. I was so mortified. But, he being a gentleman just overlooked it, and advised me to get a quality door, he then told me about Emilinks and how they produce the best doors. Later that night, I had to Google search Emilinks, cuz I just couldn’t get the event out of my head. The rusted nail on my door tried to spoil my date, but it didn’t work. I won’t give it a chance to happen again because am getting a certified door from Emilinks… #mydoorstory #Emilinks#Day13 #Bellanaija

YOU KNOW WHAT? No matter who you are, what you studied, what your profession is, if you keep a bad door for too long, you will surely turn a CARPENTER. No doubt.

I’m a 200level law student in a Nigerian University, but its sadden that am gradually turning to a carpenter in practice. March 2016, me, my mum and my two younger sisters moved into our newly rented apartment. Every structure seems to be ok except our KITCHEN’s DOOR.

Its so horrible, though the agent claimed it was supplied not long ago, but no doubt, such a substandard door would not have been supplied by a global manufacturer of world-class finishing doors like #Emilinks. I can’t believed we paid so high for such house with substandard set of doors.

Honestly, it is an unbearable situation. After several failed attempts by the agent to fist it, and my mum insisted she won’t buy another door for a rented apartment without hope of refund, then me as the only man of the house, I decided to fist it, though I never knew it could be so tasking and frequent.

The funniest thing is, every time I fist it, I go through a whole lot of stress, and sleep at night with pains but its unfortunate that, the door won’t even last for 2 weeks and it will be down again.

There are several occasions when the door has wasted our resources by falling on our cooking gas and threw away our food. Most times we have to start the cooking afresh again and again.

To me, I’m a law student in school, but a carpenter at home. How I wished the landlord had used an Emilinks door. That would have saved us the wastages and save me of the stress.

5) Ekep O. – day13 # mydoorstory
Yes truly they say a stitch in time saves nine. I moved into a new apartment three years ago. When I got the apartment my first bad impression about the house was the front door because it wasn’t strong but the landlord promised to change it. Ever since then it has been like that, until last year my family and I traveled to the village as soon as we got there we did not even spend up to three days before my neighbor called me and told me burglars broke into my home and because I refused installing # emilinks the only Nigeria quality door they were able to use knife to cut through your door and was able to get access to your house. I became scared and traveled back home the next day and found out alot has been stolen, maybe I should not have waited for my landlord now I have Learnt my lesson that a stitch in time saves nine. Thanks to @bellanaijaonline #emilinks for making me aware of their quality door

8) because_im_franky_lambert – #inst10 Please, tell me this door doesn’t discourage you :$. Well, that’s the door my course rep lives behind. One fateful saturday, I went to pick my textbook from him. on entering I heard overlapped chats and complains and it was about how they were robbed, I took pity on them as I saw their doors. They were worse or the same as that on my photo.

He bitterly complained about how the mosquitoes, loud songs, rodents disturb them and how high their fence was and the how they took turns in checking if the compound gate was locked before going to bed, yet everyone of them was robbed. I asked “if they were securing the compound or the lives in the building?”. I told him about #Emilinksdoors and how sound and security worthy their doors are. I advised, since he was the lodge president, he’s in a better position to agitate for a change of doors, while other tenants join the bid.

I thought he didn’t take hid to my advice o. I was surprised and almost laughed my lungs out when I listened to their testimonies concerning #Emilinks. Not only did the landlord change the doors to #EmilinksDoors , he changed the lodge name from “swagger lodge”, to #Emilinks villa. #ClearsThroat #emilinks na you biko :d  #Emilinks #MyDoorStory @bellanaijaonline #day12

9) @klasic_bee – Day 13… “Thank you class” the lecturer says; at 14:00. “You all be back at 16:00 for your test and u ll b damned if u come a minute late”.
Rushing straight to my hostel, gosh I was so hungry, let me just make lunch and get back I told myself. On getting to my room, wow RELIEF!*removes shirt* FOOD! So I set out next to use the toilet so that this food go “go well”? and then *bamn* I heard! wat happened, my door had shut because of some wind and my God, I was *not well dressed*I was hungry like mad*my phone was locked in too*I had a test in some minutes time*

What sort of over sabi door is this? To lock me out at this time and at this point. I had to look for any male classmate of mine who broke the damn lock and thank God I got back to class in time although still on an empty stomach??. If it were an #emilinks door, with good reliable locks, am sure it would v been a better story. #emilinks #MyDoorStory @bellanaijaonline

10) feyisayooyewole – @bellanaijaonline #mydoorstory #emilinks ……….Oh my terible bad door
On that faithful friday night my mother and my siblings were preparing to go to church for a night vigil.
My mom asked me if i was interested in going but you know that moment when the devil want to set you up.she asked why i was just giving her flimpsy excuses like you know mom i had a very long and stressful day and am so tired So So i can’t hummmhh she knew i was not interested then she left with my siblings.
Then, i went to lock the door i looked at it again to be sure its adequately closed. The night came so quick and i fall alseep so fast inorder for me to leave my worries behind that i am home alone.
Then the unexpected happened at exactly 12am i heard(ke ke ke) i was sacred and troubled then i concluded that the Gun men are around, the sound continued and so many thought ran through my mind oh my God!! my valuables,my body am in trouble.
The sound continued then i surmound the courage to go and challenge whoever is terrorizing me,i walked slowly to the door,i saw that the bolt was still locked but loosing up gradually.
I shouted loud who are you? Nobody answered, i said it again and again but no response then i pushed back the spirit of fear and decided to face the bastard disturbing my peace.
Lo and behold You won’t believe what i saw,it was the nature doing it thing, the force of the wind that was hiting the door made that terible sound.

“Oh no, not again” was the thoughts running through my head as I was standing on the chair with my friend who came to visit me at home while my brothers chased the 2 rats that managed to sneak into our house yet again around the sitting room. This has turned into an almost normal occurrence since we packed into this house. This really bad door that leads to the backyard serves as an entrance to both humans and rodents alike. We have patched up this door as much as we could but it’s as if the rats have built their own secret way in through the door that we can’t figure out. God save you if you leave your food anyhow for a short time, just know you will go hungry that day.
We do a total cleanup of the house twice a week to prevent odours cos you’re sure to pack out decaying food from behind the cupboards and chairs and every hidden nook and cranny in the house. Despite that, you can still perceive a hint of the odour.
Worst of all, my friend and all of my other friends who heard the story have sworn never to come to our house again even though I have promised them that we have gotten a brand new Emilinks door and we no longer see those rats #Emilinks #MyDoorStory #day 14

Most people think that it is not relevant to talk about bad doors. Well, I have a carryover in a very important course at school because of a bad door.
It was Monday and it was the day of our exam for Maths 202. I slept at 3AM, after trying to solve some equations perfectly. I set my alarm to ring at 5AM. My exam was for 8AM. I woke up immediately the alarm beeped. I went to the shower, took my bath very quickly, took breakfast, but when I reached the door, I fixed the key; it refused to open the door. It was not the first time that the door had rejected its own key. The last time, I was advised to dip the key in engine oil, I did but I still struggled to get the door open, even while using the engine oil. It was my exam day and the door was not opening!
    Panic! Kept trying – nothing.
Soon it was 7AM. I was still struggling to get the door open. I took out the key from the key hole. A deep breath! I tried the key again, but it hooked! I thought about going through the window but it was not the type of window, I could go through. I banged the door severally. The compound was already empty; I think everyone had gone for their exam. I struggled, before resolving to pull the door down, and then face the Landlord. When I succeeded in pulling it down, the time was 7:45AM and it was a rule that we had to be in class thirty minutes before our exam. The lecturer asked me to go away. There was no form of begging that changed his mind. I prostrated, I cried, I rolled on the floor, he refused.
It’s been a year now and I am writing an exam I should have forgotten by now, because of a bad door. I am glad #Emilinks is raising awareness on the evil of bad doors.
#Emilinks thank you for upholding standard.

I am the head of a small community in Ijede Kingdom.

The tales of Taria continues to trail her for she was loved by so many. Wherever you see her, she’s always happy and willing to put smiles on the faces of others.

Out of her widows mite, she feeds the hungry children, cares for the old who can no longer feel bones behind their fleshs and she is more than willing to help them pull water from the strem and carry them all the way to their houses before coming back to fetch one for herself.

To put it short, she was a mini god, an angel to the community.

I always sort how to repay her deed but I could never truly repay how she kept the community together and happy.

One very day, I thought I could start by paying her a visit. On getting to her small apartment, I could barely put myself together.

There was Taria, the ‘goddess’ and helper of the community living in a tiny mini-flat left for her by her late husband. The doors were all fested on by ‘mites’ and you could tell even the community ‘roaches’ all commune with her.

“Good day sir! To what do I owe this visit”, she greeted as she gave me those mild and warm smiles. I went on to thank her for all her deeds – but I couldn’t help wonder how she manages to pull a warm charitable heart with all the adversity she faces.

I knew behind those smiles, there were sadness. I needed to do something.. I needed to make her feel like the ‘goddess’ they see her as.

I wrote to various brands and multinationals for Months, and was neglected till one brand came to our aid – Emilinks. Not only did they change her door to state of the art modern security doors, Emilinks helped renovated her home and challenged other members of the community to emulate her that at the end of each year, anyone selected for selfless achievements to the community deserving of recognition will be rewarded with similarly.

I thanked the management of Emilinks for bringing smile and happiness not only to Taria but to the entire community.

‘Is anyone there?!’, I shouted for the umpteenth time, mustering all the energy I had available. I was furious and sweating all over.

My younger brother and I shared a room – a room with a peculiarity: Our door could only be opened from outside. We were alone. My brother had left the room for the football field while I was asleep. I woke up to funny sounds in my innards. I slept shortly after devouring a bowl of eba and it didn’t play out nicely. I rushed towards the door, pushing and pulling at the door in a frantic effort to ease myself. ‘This boy has killed me o!’, I said in despair.

I had almost defecated in my pants when I heard his voice. ‘Big bro, you should have seen me on the pitch today…’ ‘Which stupid pitch? Come and open this door for me now before I break your head!’, I screamed. I bolted the moment he opened the door, forgetting all about my threat. I heard him laughing as I ran towards the toilet. ‘Hahahahahaha. I told you to get an Emilinks door, didn’t I? Serves you right!’ I caught the wisps of his taunt. I would get back to him. I definitely had to get that door!

I just concluded my 1 year compulsory service. Praised be to God I was opportuned to get a job at the state I served.I needed a good apartment badly so I started hunting for one. Luckily for me I found good, neat and spacious apartment. But it lacked the most important feature of an apartment “A good door”.All the doors in the apartment were all old and wearing out.I complained but the landlord assured me that they would be replaced. Two weeks and then two months, nothing was said or done about the door. I and two other Co tenants confronted The landlord and told him to get an Emilinks door. The greedy landlord was just too greedy to let any money out of his pocket. The landlord who was also living in my compound with his family was called from work one fateful day. His four year old child while sleeping, was bitten by a deadly snake that passed through a hole in the bad door. The child was rushed to the hospital immediately. Luckily for him he survived the snake bite. After this incident the landlord out of shame came to me and asked me to sugest a good door to get for the compound. And as usual I told him to get the best in Nigeria which is Emilinks door. We all should learn from this. Emilinks door is the best.It is of good quality and affordable.Go and get yours so you wouldn’t have a bad door experience like me and my landlord.#Emilinksisthebest

I was job hunting. Today would make it the fourth time (or so I remember) I had gone for an interview that month and I was determined to ace it. I had just two good shirts then and, since power supply was epileptic, I had contracted the washing and ironing of one of them to a local dry cleaner. I would don it for the interview.

Morning came and I was all set for the interview. I rushed through breakfast and moved to hurriedly leave the house; I was getting late. I had hardly stepped out of the house when I heard the sound of a rip. I almost lost my heart, fighting hard to tell myself it wasn’t what I thought it was. I turned my head slowly in the direction the sound had come from.

There, at the side of my shirt, was a wide rip, gaping wide at me beside the culprit, my door, as if telling me, “today’s not your day”. And it wasn’t! I spent a lot of time trying to get the other shirt ready. I got very late to the place of interview and consequently lost the opportunity. I was indignant at myself and at the door. I had been told many times to change it, but I didn’t think it was a big deal. I made up my mind there and then that if I would get a door, it would be a very good one or none at all. I asked around and eventually got an Emilinks door.

I have a job now and I can’t but look back at that day and smile. I learned a good habit in a hard way: A GOOD DOOR OR NONE AT ALL. And it has stayed with me till this day. #Emilinks #MyDoorStory

My hubby had just gotten a promotion from work. We waited for that promotion for five years and so it was a reason to celebrate. When we decided to have a party to celebrate, his colleagues insisted that the party should hold in our house. We obliged after a long time.
You see, why we hesitated at first was because our toilet door has always been bad. We were always calling the carpenter. Sometimes he came three times in two weeks just to check our really bad door. The evening before the party, the carpenter was in our house for more than six hours, trying to make sure the door would not embarrass us.
When the party started, I got a lot of compliments for cooking an incredible meal for my husband’s colleagues. I was on top of the world!
Soon after, my husband’s boss stood up and asked for our toilet, I took him to the toilet.
We did not see him come out. 20 minutes… 30 minutes… 35 minutes… my husband went to check him. The door knob had fallen while his boss was trying to open the door to get out and there was no way he could come out without releasing the latch. We were helpless; the man was already frustrated, I heard that in his voice. Soon, more of hubby’s colleagues gathered around the toilet, they were trying to get him out. We tried to release the latch with a knife, it was not working, we called the carpenter and, he promised to join us in two hours. Hubby’s colleagues had to break down the door when the old man got more frustrated. They had to save their jobs.
After the incident, one of hubby’s colleague called us aside, she whispered, “go and buy #Emilinks, it is affordable and it is designed for easy use, I swear, try it, if it fails you, I will refund you.” That sounded like a customer with trust for the brand, so we got #Emilinks and now we have no problem. Carpenter no dey chop our money anyhow, again.
To #Emilinks customer comfort is first and we trust #Emilinks.

Ewoo! Ewooo!! Ewoooooo!!!!….. That was the voice of mama junior shouting.Hey the unbearable just happened. Her son junior who is just 10 months old has been stuck by there bad kitchen door.
She kept shouting Chim O! Chim O!! (My God O), u people should come and help me,my son is in pains. We all rushed out to the scene, just to find the little boy bleeding and crying. It happened that he(junior) crawled to the kitchen and his hand got stuck in the bad and dangerous door. It wasn’t easy trying to get his hands out of the door. On the process of removing his hand he had a very big cut.
Junior was rushed to the hospital and his hands needed to be stitched. I could feel his pains, it was indeed a terrible experience,he wept bitterly. U can imagine such a little boy going through such pains all because of a bad door.
When the family came back home they quickly removed the bad door and mounted an Emilinks door. Guess what??? Junior can now crawl to any part of the house comfortably.Am so happy.
Thanks to emilinks for making junior comfortable and putting smiles on our faces.

    Day 14
It was a funny day the day I left my home in a hurry to work and alas I returned home tired, to deep my hand in my bag for the key and it was no where to be found. I thought I forgot it at the office but remember that I did not use it at the office. How did I leave home locking the door without key? you will ask. It was a padlock I was using because the door has been tampered with severally. How will I enter? I was forced to call a carpenter around and to my surprise I just pushed the door with his hand and it gives way. Is this what I called door securing my property? Then he introduced me to Emilink door. I bought it and it was fixed and I never worried about locking without key. #Emilinks #MyDoorStory @Emilink

I am a job hunter, I have been hunting for a job for some months now. Not only has hunting for a job caused me sleepless night but the thought of my spoilt door just kept adding salt to injury. I spend minutes everyday opening and closing my bad door.
On a day like every other, I woke up just to see a text on my phone. It was an invitation for an interview. I was so very happy,i quickly prepared and dressed into my best clothes which some people might consider as rag because it wasn’t to welcoming, but I had no choice.
I got to my bad door as usual I had to perform some magic before it can open, but this time the magic didn’t work, hmmmmmm!!!!I kept performing various forms of magic, I even started praying cause I was at the edge of going late.I had no other option than to wreck the door completely. On the process of wrecking my already wrecked door I broke my arm.i took the risk of leaving my house open and a broken arm for the interview. After everything praise be to God I got the job and also The manger gave me some amount of money to change my wardrobe,i was delighted.
I couldn’t change my wardrobe knowing fully well that my house was wide open,i quickly went to buy a door and dat door was non other than emilinks doors. Now I don’t need to perform any magic to open and close my door.
Lastly wen I got to the office my boss was angry at me for not getting new clothes. I narrated my story to him and he understood,he also said he had a magic door like mine in his house and told me my first assignment was to make sure an emilinks door is mounted in his house.

    My name is VALENTINEBOY
It was a shocking morning yesterday
As I woke up early in the morning ,I decided to go into our store room where we normally store our food stuff and other domestic materials. The moment I opened the door I had a noise, first I taught it was a rat so I quickly pick up a broom beside me so I can search and kill the rat,but my greatest shock was what I saw, behold a very long snake, quickly I ran outside ,try to luck the but the door was till opening ,I tried locking it almost six times, this made me to shout my brothers name “Uche come with cutlass o they is snake in the store” he quickly came with a sharp cutlass and went into the room gently, this time I was scared so I remain outside that was when I decided to snap him, the good news was that he succeeded in killing the snake.
We later realised that the snake came into the room through the damaged door,in the door they is an open hole were rats and snake can easily move in, I reported the matter to our landlord and he asked me to contact any door dealer from now till Monday.I only trust one product which is #emilinks ,I hope to contact them soon.

    Day 14
My quarell with Mazi Obi my next door neighbour started 3 months ago. But before then, we were not just best of neighbours but also best of friends.
His anger was that I always disturb his early morning sleep whenever am trying to open my door with a hammer.
“But Mazi, it’s not my fault na. You were here when robbers broke all our doors. What do you expect me to do?” I asked him one early morning when he got angry and asked me to stop making noise with that condemn wood I call door.
“Go and buy a better door. Can’t you see my emilinks door? You can’t even here a sound when ever am locking or unlocking it. Check other neighbour’s doors. Why must yours be different” he queried.”
“But I don’t have that much money na” I replied shamefully.
“Bros make you try upgrade na. Emilinks door no expensive o.” Fatima stressed.
“How are we sure you are not the one rearing all the cockroaches we have in this compound” Elvis one of my neighbours shouted from his room. The whole compound bursted into laughter. I felt ashamed because I never knew that my early morning noise was affecting the other neighbours who were also awake.
That same afternoon, while I was trying to unlock my door as usual, I heard a little kid whispering to his friend saying “this uncle-cockroach is back. You will see cockroaches will now start coming out from his door if he starts knacking that thing.”
“That was it. Enough of these insults. I have been humiliated enough. Enough!” I shouted leaving the compound. The next day, my entrance had a new look.
“Neighbours make una come o. Henry don buy new door.” Mrs Obi Screamed as she came back from the market.
That night, my new emilinks door was the talk of the compound.

Coming back past 9am after a one hour test, I had just 45 minutes to cool off before the hectic four hour laboratory practicals. I entered my apartment meeting my reading table in a rather unusual manner. Being so conscious of time, I ignored and started removing my clothes to go take a shower subconsciously replying to the greetings from my younger brother John and his friend.
They both moved in with me two days back as regards the screening examination they had to sit for. They were lovers of tennis but I never knew they would express the love for the game on my reading table. As I went for the shower, I heard a dragging noise. Knowing I had limited time, I didn’t pay attention.
Suddenly, I heard a fast whirling sound and BOOM!!!… I could see those two young men through a door I was sure I had shut. The door lock was bad. The tennis bat had left John’s hand while he was trying to play a forehand smash and two inches away, would have landed on my head after hitting the door frame and forcing the door open. Certainly, this is one of the disadvantages of using bad doors.
As i told this to my friend next door the evening of that same day, I was like.. O boy! Through a door i shut oo!. He laughed an asked… What if you had visitors?… ‘ you were just lucky they were both young men ‘.
Not even knowing doors go for various purposes, he showed me his very durable one which he said he got replaced by #Emilinks doors as he moved in and added that he had used the door for over 8 months.
Wondering what #emilinks was, I asked…. He looked at me with shock on his face and said ‘ the next time the door will fall on your head ‘….?. But now!!.., I’ve got my door in top flight again with #Emilinks doors and i’m amazed by how functional it has been. Of course, such incident has never occurred again.

Thanks #emilinks doors for helping secure my privacy. #mydoorstory.

    #Emilinks #MyDoorStory .
Emilinks door is the best.It is of good quality and affordable.Go and get yours so you wouldn’t have a bad door experience like me and my landlord.

1)Bad doors can collapse and injure the nearest person.
2(Bad doors are so insecure.Robbers and thugs can gain access into one’s house because of a bad door. Also when you have a bad door you can get trapped in emergency situations.
3)Bad doors also reduces one standard or self esteem. If you have a bad door like me inviting a friend over will be disgraceful.
With Emilinks you are protected from all this.Emilinks door posses all the good qualities you are looking for.just get yours and I promise you, You will definitely not regret it. Kudos Emilinks

    #Emilinks #Mydoorstory Day 14.
I never thought there will be an opportunity to share my experience with bad doors and I am grateful for this opportunity. I’m going to share one of my most personal and hurtful experiences while growing up. You see I went to a boarding secondary school but before I left homemy parents and even I never knew I had very sensitive skin. As a junior student you get the most dreaded hostel morning duties and unfortunately I was given toilet duty, so I had to wait for everyone to use the bathrooms and toilets in the morning before cleaning it. Unfortunately the doors in the bathrooms and toilets were made from bad wood and was easily attacked by fungi, algae, maggots and soo many things I still don’t know what to call them. After a month of doing this duty, my feet and legs were not the same, I started having boils and swellings and under my feet was peeling. I initially ignored it because I was soo scared of my seniors and I didn’t want to be punished. One day I couldn’t take the pain anymore and reported to the senior in charge of my room and she just said I had better do my my duty because there was no one to do it and she won’t do it either. I finally made up my mind to go to the clinic and when I did, the nurses cleaned my wounds and took me to the doctor, unknown to me some of the maggots had entered my feet and were causing the boils and were eating into my skin. My parents were called immediately and I had to go to a general hospital for better treatment. My mother didn’t take this lightly at all, she went to school during my school’s PTA day and made alot of noise until the school took the situation into consideration, I almost lost my feet to bad doors but thanks to my experience, no other junior student had to experience the terrible toilet and bathroom doors as my school authorities were forced to change every single door to good, durable doors. This is my bad door experience.

Thanks to Bella naija and emilinks for giving me the opportunity to share one of those experience I had as a kid due to bad doors.
It was a bright sunny Sunday, as an average kid living in a rented apartment with my family, the kind of door we used then was not worth to be called a door again. But my dad careless until that unfortunate incident happened on that faithful Sunday.
We all went to church but got home after the church service to see most of our properties had been carted away, the thieves had easy entry because of our door. The door wasn’t standing properly and we had always had a way of pushing it up before we could lock it , but since the jam key spoilt, we improvised and used padlock to lock our door whenever we were going out.
All the thieves had to do was get a saw or hammer and break the padlock…..it was that easy for them…they spoilt the padlock and easily pulled our almost removed door aside and took all the valuables in the house, the money my father could have used to buy a good door like EMILINKS DOORDOOR ,our television,my mum jewelries,my brother’s laptop and other stuffs. My dad felt pained only if he knew he would have gotten a good door with maximum security liike EMILINKS DOORS , I won’t make such mistake when I have my own house, I would always go for EMILINKS doors that can give me maximum peace and security if am around or not.

That was what I heard at exactly 8pm on 23rd May, 2014.I rushed out amongst other tenants in my compound, and we discovered that a newly Wed couple was inside their house and it was on fire. Their gas cylinder exploded and set the house ablaze. The couple were trapped inside the house because of the bad door which would not open. A week ago I had warned the couple to get an Emilinks door because their door was bad. But they didn’t. It took the intervention to a male tenant who kicked the door open with his leg and saved the life of the couple. Emilinks door is the best. This is one of the disadvantages of having a bad door experience, which could make food items and valuables unsafe. Here is a brief story how my bad door predicament caused me my hard earned WAEC Certificate, which rats feasted upon it as a result of my bad door which made my room vulnerable. How do I now get my Original WAEC Certificate now ??? I’m now left with doing an Affidavit. My Door Story.
I am one Lady that will never strip naked in front of her fellow Ladies, not even in front of my Mum, That is how private I am, during my first year in the University, I got a room off campus in a 6 rooms apartment with a single bathroom and Toilet, I wasn’t Okay with it but Houses were scarce and expensive, My parents persuaded me to manage it for a year,we will get a better one next year they promised, 4 of the 6 rooms had female occupants while the other 2 were occupied by guys, I always make sure to wake up early and have my bath before the rush for the bathroom starts.
On this fateful day, I carried my bucket of water, soap and sponge into the bathroom, I removed my towel then secure the door by twisting the nail attached to it, (this nail is the Locking mechanism) as I was taking my bath, somebody shoved hard at the door and before I know it I was facing one of the male occupants without having a single piece of clothing on, for some seconds I couldn’t do a thing, I experienced an array of emotions, Shock, anger, fear, with embarrassment topping the list! but I locked the door, I thought, How could it give in easily? I felt betrayed by the door! The guy was also very embarrassed , He quickly closed the door while saying sorry repeatedly, I wish the floor will open its mouth and swallow me, I avoided the guy like a plague, I couldn’t bear to face him for weeks. poor me became a victim of a bad door, If only the bathroom had an Emilinks door, I wouldn’t have experienced that most embarrassing day of my life I got a Nice Room in a Nicer house the next year, With strong and Beautiful Emilinks Doors fitted to all Doorways of course!

The identity of a house is on the door. I don’t care if you have a house plated with gold and laid on silver. I don’t care if you say the house is comfort personified. If you don’t have a door you can’t live inside of it and if you don’t have Emilinks doors it means the gold and silver are counterfeit and the comfort is still in it’s subconscious state waiting for physical manifestation.

I once had a very bad door. This door unlike Emilinks doors was too fragile. Margaret Atwood a famous poet once said; “It’s doors I’m afraid of because I can’t see through them, its the door opening by itself in the wind I’m afraid of.” I think she was referring to the door. (LOL) Even air from one’s nostrils can fling the door open. To the extent I was using my chairs and my tables to support the door at night to prevent easy access by robbers. Though I was not harassed by robbers, I never had a good night rest. I was the one protecting the door door that should have so instead. The door was at rest but I never was. Imagine how I would have slept peacefully if I had gotten Emilinks door. Having a bad door made me unproductive in my work place. A man without a good night sleep can never be efficient and effective at work. I risked been sacked just because of a bad door. Thank God I was not.

Doors are not what people think they are. The beauty of a house is defined by it’s door. Not to even talk of having one of Emilinks’s doors. Show me a house of good quality and I will show you a house that has Emilinks doors.
If you want to know the content of a house check it’s door. Not everybody who desire security and safety of it’s property can afford a security personnel but everybody that desires same can afford a good door. From Emilinks to be precise.

Lastly, if you want to know a man that has value on his property, check the man’s door and if you have seen a man with a stylish and well designed door, look closely the door must be Emilinks’s.

Mum once told me to change my entrance door the last time she visited because the door was very old. Though I had the money, but procrastination wouldn’t let me change it.
So last friday I got a call from a multinational company that I applied for somewhere on the island, for an interview scheduled to hold on monday that week. Out of excitement I called up my friend Kemi to accompany me to shop for the interview. We went to a shop on the mainland and got a very expensive corporate wear with a black pair of stiletto that cost me almost half of my savings.
Fast forward to monday, griiiiiiiiiim! Came my phone’s alarm, I quickly jumped from my bed and checked the time, it was already 7.00am. I was very shocked, “I thought I had set the alarm for 5.00am, how come?” Was the question I asked myself, then I suddenly remembered that I had changed it on saturday night against sunday morning because sundays are my resting days.
I took a quick shower and by the time I finished, it was already a few minutes to 8.00am. Having checked myself on the mirror, I stepped out of my bedroom and headed straight to the door.
“Siaaaaaaaam! Came the sound, “no this can’t be happening now”, it was hard to believe, turning, I found my shirt sleeve clinging to my spoilt door handle, silent tears escaped my eyes.
Because I had just few minutes left, I rushed back to my room and changed to a simple plain shirt. By the time I got to the company, it was already 8.30am. On getting to the reception desk and explaining to the receptionist, she rudely told me that I had missed the interview, because they just rounded up. All my plea fell on deaf ears. Feeling defeated, I left.
If only I had listened to my mum to buy emilinks door (because that’s what we use in my family house), I wouldn’t have missed the interview for a job that would have changed my life forever.

And that day I was anxiously waiting for finally came, the day that took me months, days, hours and minutes to prepare for; My defense. I was neatly dressed in a black pencil-skirt which accentuated my curves and a white ironed shirt with a black bow tie, a black suede heels and a light makeover to brighten my face. I was so confident about my looks, my coursemates were all admiring me.
Few minutes to my turn, I decided to use the convenience, as I was about entering, something scratched my arm, when I turned, lo and behold my shirt was torn, I had a cut, the edge and the lock of the door were damaged, I cried and was so embarrased because I didn’t know what to do. One of my coursemates took me to the hostel, where I had to borrow another shirt for my defence. If only there was an emilinks door in my department, such embarrassing moments wouldn’t be occurring.

Bad Doors are like a curse. In my house, rats were allowed to move freely. We have a Bad Door, Fine. But we were not in the least bothered because we rarely have anyone coming to visit. Maybe it was because of the rats. I wouldn’t know. In my house we all have freedom, including the rats. As we go about doing our daily chores, you will even see them running around getting busy as well. My business was not theirs and Their business was not mine. It was Mind Your Own Business (MYOB). On this particular day, my lecturer had given the class an assignment, I got home, I didn’t have data on my phone, I bought airtime #100 and used for data because I needed to research with the help of Google for the assignment. It was a 30 marks assignment. I researched, did the assignment and I was so sure of getting between 25-28 marks. Make I no carry all of lecturer mark. I put the assignment in my bag for submission the next day. On my way, to school, I was beaming with smiles because I had done a good work on my assignment. When I got to the class, the class governor was already collecting the assignment, to go and give to the lecturer. I put down my bag to bring out mine, Alas! I couldn’t find it. I poured out all the content in my bag, then I saw my assignment in shreds, it was beyond recognition, the rats had eaten my 25marks. I started sweating like a Christmas fowl, my entire body was doing overheating, What kind of life is this? And this rats no dey touch my things before, wetin come happen? I wondered, then I remembered I bought Fried Fish from Iya Kabiru yesterday, ate the fish and put the paper and bone with nylon in my back so I could throw it in the dustbin at home. I don’t like throwing my dirt on the road/street. And when I got home, I forgot entirely, my assignment was the only thing on my mind. Na from School I vow say I must kill all the rats way dey my house today, today. When I got home, I was so angry, breathing very fast and sweating profusely. I met my mum at home, she asked me ” Ahmed Kilode?” (what happened?). I said: ” Mami, awon eku yii, fe ba temi je, emi na ma ba tiwon je leni” (Mummy this rats want to spoil my life, and I will surely spoil theirs today). Then I took off my shirt in a bid for the fight. My mum then told me to exercise patience and I also told her that they (the rats did not exercise patience before they ate up my assignment and even left their poo in my bag to clean up for them. I told my mum not to worry and that I want to get to work. I took out the mattress, the chairs and every other thing in the room, I got a very big stick and we chased ourselves all over, I killed them all, 10 rats in all, only in our room, imagine, they wanted to start a rat country in our room, rent dem no pay, tax no, electricity rara, dem enjoy free everything. After I had gotten rid of them, I swept the entire room, arranged everything back, then went to meet my mum at the shop, she had told me she was contributing a thrift. So I begged her ” Mami, E jo ti e ba ti gba owo ajo yin, e je kara ilekun awon Emilinks, awon omo ile-iwe mi sope o dara gan, atipe ko won pupo” (Mummy, please when you collect your thrift, Let us buy Emilinks Door, my course mates said its very good and not that expensive) My mum said Okay she will surely buy it and even told me that she would beg Iya Zainab to let here collect her share of the thrift now and she would collect later, because it was Iya Zainab’s turn to collect so she could get the door as soon as possible and we would say Goodbye to rats Forever. It was a day before my wedding, I was about going to the hotel where I would lodge and stay for my bridal shower night and also prepare for the wedding the next day. I was on a skinny top, as I was about leaving the room cos I was in a hurry, a nail that prootruded through the bad room door pierced through my top and through my waist region. Before I knew it what was happening, I found myself lying on the hospital bed, with my fiance beside me. I was too weak to talk because the injury was deep. I had undergone surgery and my fiancee said I lost so much blood. The doctor had said I would not be able to work because it had affected my spinal cord region, though it wasn’t certain. Due to the fear of having a paralysed daughter inlaw, my mother inlaw to be had to force my fiancee to marry another wife, all was because of the bad door in my house.
If I had a door like emilinks in my house, by now I should have been in my husband’s house.

” if you come later than 8.00am, a closed door will entertain you” said the philosophy lecturer. Im a freshman in the physics department of FUTO and a habitual late comer. We were having GST 103 (philosophy) lecture in “new sosc lecture Hall” and immediately he threatened the late comers, I looked at the door and smiled. The door keeps no one outside as it dosent keep the goats and fowls that visit our lecture Hall outside. I hope that some day EMILINKS will come to the rescue of my school to make most of the halls conducive (without goats and fowls ) and to kill my lateness habit..

#emilinks #bellanaija #mydoorstory #day14 There’s a saying “if a man is able to provide meal for himself, he has solved 90% of his problem”; this was what I did some years ago while I was still an undergraduate. I lived in a storey building with my landlady and other students. We were like a family because we supported each other. My landlady keeps goats, and grows vegetables. Just before my 300L rain semester exams, I bought the ‘white beans'(o my God! beans) with the last money I had with me because I thought food is the most important thing during exam period. But my door ruined my exams. How? My door was what I call ‘pako’ because the one of the door hinges had completely detach from the door frame due to wood bug infestation. Knowing that I have just beans as the only food, I picked the beans, made sure there were no shaft nor stones, I also had all other ingredient like pepper, onion, salt and palm oil available, but there was no charcoal. So I decided to go buy charcoal on credit at the next street. On getting to the Charcoal seller. I observed a strong wind blew for a moment. I never knew this wind had also blew my door open!. On getting back to the hostel I quickly got the charcoal stove which is always kept outside, I lite the charcoal stove. Yeah! I was excited I was going to cook beans. Then I said to myself: ‘segun let go get the beans and pot in room’. But to my greatest dismay my room was “doorless”! my insect infected door was lying on the floor, to make the matter worst I have a visitor in my room, it was one of my landlady’s goat. Yeah! The goat had already finished feasting on my beans. My beans was gone!. I couldn’t cry or laugh, I got frustrated and couldn’t read that afternoon, I only got to eat when my hostel mate arrived from class, which was around 10pm, you can imagine how hungry and angry I must have been… My landlady’s non-chalant attitude toward repairing my wood bug infested door cost me two days meal. #Emilinks doors provides all the security I need and brings my expectations to reality, only if she had chosen #emilinks doors. I will choose #emilinks anyday anytime. This is #mydoorstory thanks for reading through#Day 14

Emilinks doors rewrote my door story.
To appreciate something good, you have to have experienced something bad.
I literally lost most of my proprerities to thieves in the area. I paid exorbitant security bills, yet I did not feel safe.
Each time I complained they said others were safe, why was I different. I asked around most houses that were secure. Some had little or no security. They all had one thing in common #Emilinks doors in place.
I got an Emilinks historic door afterwards and till date I have not had any need to feel unsafe or complain to the security agents.
Emilinks doors save you a lot, trust me. Give it a try today.

Day 14. It feels good to know that rubbers even know their limitations.
The type of rubbery attack we do experience in my area is definitely not the type most people do experience. In most places, rubbery incidents do take them unaware but in my area, you will be given notice by the rubbers before coming.
Sometimes ago, almost all the houses in my street received a notification letter of the coming of the rubbers in a weeks time.
After 6days of receiving this letter, I received an anonymous call on the desktop phone and he requested to speak with Mr Steve (my husband) the conversation goes further like this….
Me: pls who am I speaking with?
Caller: it doesn’t matter, just pass the phone to Steve.
Me: You can drop your message sir, he’s my husband and he’s not at home at the moment.
Caller: OK! Tell your husband to keep the sum of 1 million naira inside the bin-linner outside your gate at exactly 11pm today as earlier indicated on the letter sent to you.
I was silence for a while listening to the background conversation on their end. One of the rubbers was talking to their boss…
Boss that house is the most beautiful standard house in that area, that house suppose to be our ticket to good life, we suppose bill them like 250million and here you are asking them to drop just common 1million naira. Other houses we have contacted agreed to pay and none of them was taxed less than 5million.
Boss: My friend shut your gutter up, don’t you know Mr Steve have a choice of not paying at all and we can’t do him anything. Didn’t you see the type of doors in that house, have you ever been able to break into any house with EmiLinks doors since you started rubbery business? Other houses do not have that type of door and any amount you ask them to pay, they will comply because they are insecure, their doors are not as strong as EmiLinks doors. Just one kick on their wowo door we are already in for our business.
Sorry sir, I didn’t know Mr Steve have EmiLinks Doors; that’s really a bad market for us.
Then I quietly drop the call knowing that with the EmiLinks doors, my house is untouched by rubbers. #MyDoorStory #Emilinks

One fateful day I was sleeping in my room so I heard a loud disturbing at my door so I quickly rush to palour to check what was going on. I found that robbers were at the door so I started panicking. I tried calling the emergency helpline and I spoke to the policeman on duty. The robbers kept on hitting the door and trying to force the door open. After trying frantically to gain access to my house they were unsuccessful so they left my house and move to another house. The police did not arrive the scene of the robbery until after 2hrs and by that time the robbers had robbed my neighbours and carted away valuables. I heard one of my neighbour say they collected large sum of money from her. They shot dead the security man attached to my neighbour’s house. It was an awful experience that I will never forget in a long time. The robbers could not gain entrance into my house and rob me because I use emilinks doors. Emilinks doors are strong and can withstand any form of external force thereby providing adequate security to your home. #Emilinks #MyDoorStory Day 14 @Bellanaija @EmilinksNg

Emilinks door is the best.It is of good quality and affordable.Go and get yours so you wouldn’t have a bad door experience like me.

A bad door can make you miss out on a lot.Few months ago I traveled home for a wedding and I had to stay in my grandma’ house. We all left the house for the event but I had to go back to pick up something i forgot. When I entered the house, the door closed behind me,I ignored. When I got what I came for,I tried opening the door but it was stuck, I kept trying to open it and that’s how the door knob broke and cut my hand. There was no way Ik could reach anyone because i dropped my phone before coming to the house.I was stuck in the house due to the kind byof door they had and that was how I missed an event I traveled all the way from Lagos to attend. It was a very painful experience.Getting an Emilinks door for my grandma is the next plan on my agenda #Emilinks #MyDoorStory #Day 14

#mydoorstory #emilinks #day14, Truth be said, doors are meant to protect, but this was not to be the case with my friend. My friend and her husband lived in a rented 2-Bedroom apartment. There are blessed with two Children; 7 year old Francis(real name withheld) and 3 year old Mercy (real name withheld). On one fateful night, my friend and her husband had a heated argument which lead to a serious fist fight. The children were helpless. But Francis, a handsome but skinny boy left his room carrying a dim rechargeable lamp, while trying to separate his parent, he was pushed away by the stray arm of his father. But alas!, there was a painful cry, a piece of wood sticking out of the bad door which was left unattended to had gone through Francis’s right eye. Every attempt to restore his right eye proved unsuccessful. This was how Francis lost his right eye all because a piece of wood sticking out of the bad #door that was left unattended to. This happened when I was in the university. The time was 1am when I started hearing some noise but I was sooo sleepy, I ignored it.The noise became serious that was when I realized robbers had invaded the hostel.I was really scared because the doors in my hostel were wooden doors, we all know how some hostels are and mine could be knocked down by severe pushing. I hurriedly put on my clothes and ran into the bathroom and hid at the back of the door, the robbers were going from door to door and robbed my fellow hostelites. My saving Grace was that the boy in the room before mine was able to get into the ceiling and was able to run out of the building and call for help. When the robbers realized someone had gone out of the building they left.I had already peed on myself where I was standing behind the door. There was no kind of prayer I didn’t pray.I will say God heard my prayer. After that incidence,I immediately relocated to a better hostel with more secured doors and the door happened to be Emilinks.Emilinks is the best door anyone can get.I’ll advice anyone in search of a protective and durable to get an Emilinks door. Thanks

A bad door could cause a lot of hindrances. I happen to be a career lady,I leave for work in the morning and come back late at night.I noticed my door had jamming issues but I kept procrastinating its repair. I had a business meeting to attend on this fateful morning in Abuja.I had booked my flight, packed my bags and was set to leave.I tried opening my door but all to no avail,I kept struggling with the door,my eyes became tear filled. How could this happen today of all days. My phone battery was dead and i couldn’t place a call.I kept hitting my door to attract the neighbors from other flats, they couldn’t hear me.I was stuck in my house. That was how I missed a business meeting that was to earn me a substantial amount of money. After that incidence, not even my job could stop me from getting a good door.I got an Emilinks door and it was fixed and I have had no issues whatsoever with my door. There is this pride Emilinks door gives because of its look, even if the interior of a house is not too fine..Emilinks door gives the house a dignified look.Looking for the best door,I advice you get an Emilinks door. Thanks

Hmm… door story, well sha this is my own door story.
Three year ago I graduated from secondary school, it was a boarding school and I was one of the not too good boys sha. There was this thing we usually do then when I was in ss3.
The door to the kitchen store was very bad, and so around 1.00pm when we should be in class, I and three of my classmates would go out to take some stuff(we don’t steal oo, na take). I remember one of them, we call him shorty. he will pick the spoilt lock to the door for us to enter into the store. we will then poke around the bags of food with nails cutting it a little as if it was rats that did it, and take food stuffs to cook in the bush. It was a normal occurrence for rats to invade the kitchen due to the bad doors, and so we will raise no eyebrows with our tricks. while other students are hungry, we were always filled up. Sometimes we will go to the hostel, Jack the doors to the rooms of those we know has provisions, and so we were never hungry….
when my brother was admitted to the same school last year, he told me such was no longer possible because the new administration has changed all the doors to Emilinks doors. remembering those good old days make me smile…

Fireoh!!!! Fire oh!! Fire! !! I get disturbed most nights because rats fight to gain access into my hostel room. I had previously tried pieces of paper to stuff the hole but they always got chewed off. Giant millipedes have been my guests in the room as a result of the space beneath the door too. I dumped the pieces of paper idea for broom, but I wake up every night to their squeaks and scraping as they pull out the broomsticks one at a time. I get up, they run. I re-tie the broom and go back to bed, they return to work, and so the cycle continues.. The door is bug infested, has no handle, the bolts are bad. I once almost got my finger chopped off trying to close a door that would always scream, “I have no lock, push me open!” at any passerby. Maybe when the baby rats learn of the other hole upwards, they would enroll for a climbing class. lol.
Re-painting doesn’t always solve door problems.
If only the school authority cares more and asks around, they would surely realise quality in Emilinks doors.

There was this very bad door I used to have ehn, I had always thought of changing it but I never saw the need, to me I had more important things to do with money, on a certain day around July last year i just got home from work, I was very tired so I decided to rest a bit before getting something to eat, I didn’t even lie on the bed properly. The cloud was beginning to gather for rain, I could hear the sound of thunder, my plan was to rest a bit, get food to eat and then sleep while the rain fell, I dozed off in less than a minute and while the rain fell heavily I didn’t notice, while in my sleep I felt weight and coldness on my leg and then I began to feel wet so I woke up, to my surprise my room was already wet and my door was on my leg, in great confusion I lifted the door off my leg, I felt a slight pain there but my main concern was my wet room, I began to move my things away from the wet part of the room starting from the most important, there was this strong wind blowing while the rain was falling, it kept on sending water into my room, I managed to carry my door to block the entrance at least to reduce the amount of rain coming in, after doing that I fixed the dots, the weight I felt on my leg during my sleep was the door on my leg, the coldness was the breeze blowing me, the pain I felt when I woke up was as a result of the door falling on my leg after the wind blew it out. After the rain I swept water out of my room and then mopped the room, while doing that I vowed to change that door. The next day when I went to get the new door I asked which was the best and I was told Emilinks doors, so I quietly bought Emilinks door and fixed in my house to save myself another horror and embarrassment, since then I have valued the importance of good doors. #Emilinks #MyDoorStory #Day14

I happen to be home alone for the longest period in my entire life right now. 3days and counting. I hate being alone. I hate sleeping in a room alone. I hate the dark. I always imagine there is ojujukalaba with me whenever I’m alone. You ask why am I always so scared. The history of my problem started from a door o. Just a door. When I was a little girl the door to my room and my sister’s was bad. We didn’t dare to close it unless we wanted to lock ourselves in or out. The door was permanently open. You know as kids na, our imaginations always ran wild, and that’s why my sister woke me up with her screams one night claiming to have seen a ghost turning behind the open door. I’m the younger sibling so I believed her then (please don’t tell her I have my doubts now). The fear that caught me that day ehn, it’s still catching me 18 years later. What is the moral lesson of my story? Make sure you have a door with a working lock. You want to keep your door locked to prevent unwanted guests from badging in or per adventure giving them a hiding place (in my case, the ghost behind the door). #Emilinks can guarantee you a door with a perfectly working lock. There’s no need to be scared again. #MyDoorStory #day14 @bellanaija

#MyDoorStory #Emilinks #Day14 The demerit of living in a house or having a shop that has a substandard doors cannot be over emphasized. sub standard doors portrays a person or people as either rechealed or low life people to some peoples thinking but to me it wasn”t because am a living witness to reject such saying mostly people takes thing so careless , we have to be security conscious, Many today take things for granted but forgetting that when there is life there is hope in which we have to protect our life, with standard doors like that from #Emilinks. We all know that things are very high in our dear country and as such, changing a bad or badly damaged door can be very difficult at this time. But we got to place our safety on top of our priority in life. Therefore, changing a bad door can prolong one’s life in the sense that it will shield you from incessant activities and prevent thieves from breaking into your dear house. For instant, My brother left earlier before me, and when leaving the house I locked door to go and drop my brothers children to school when they attend lesson , because school now were on holiday but was very sad to see that someone has tampered with the door and took away my gadjests while I was away. But on that sport am speechless knowing fully well that the havoc that befall me was due to substandard door had it been its a standard door like Emilinks I won’t have to worry about someone forcing or tampering with my door. My brother later accepted and have decided to change the door to standard door then i suggested to him to go for Emilinks doors because they are classy, strong, durable, beautiful and it adds beauty and protection to family and property. But i keep asking myself why must we wait not until bad things must have happened due to bad door before deciding to replace it. Lets get the thing that are of standard at the right time and not waiting until we have fall to be victim of substandard door.

but with this story of my am gonna win today because #Emilinks is here to help to change peoples poor way of reasoning.

Doors are of high importance but I never really took note of that until this very ordeal..
It started when I finally got a job after searching for so long, I was so happy and promised to protect my job anyway I can. ..
After three days of working I came to my office on the fourth day and something shocking happened, some important documents were missing. I searched and searched everywhere I could think of to no avail. .Tired and sober I sat on my sit to think of how miserable life would be if I eventually lost dis job, just as I was thinking of everything I looked down the curtain and noticed some pieces of paper shattered behind it, with curiosity I went down there to find out what it was all about and how it got there only for me to find out it was the documents I had been looking for all shattered behind the curtain, it was at this point I knew I had been visited by rats..This made me look at the door and finally noticed it was worse than I thought. ..termites had eaten the part closer to the floor giving room for rat to come in.
I reported this ordeal to the management and they understood it was not my fault so they promised to change the door soon enough. .I kept waiting for the doors to be changed but nothing was done due to the high price of doors so in order to protect documents I derived a means which was hanging them on the fan before locking up everday although it helped but sometimes I forgot to do this exercise and kept hoping for a change of door, it really was never easy. Until finally one day I heard about EMILINKS 50 percent discount on purchase, with all gladness I told the management about this and guess what. ..My office door has been changed.
Every day I can’t help but thank Emilinks for making my job easier with this wonderful offer. Now I enjoy my job,no more annoying visits by rodents and am a happy fellow. Once again thanks EMILINKS I’ll forever remember this happy ending.

Bad doors could ruin your day and still cost you unnecessary spending.
My girlfriend and I have been preparing for our final year dinner for some time now, so we decided to buy an expensive suit and gown, so on that night we were ready to rock the night and just before we entered her gown got stuck with the door and that was the end of the night for us because it tore her expensive dress.
I have only one recommendation for them and its to buy an Emilinks door.

Doors, especially front doors have the twin purpose of inviting people in and keeping people out. In the same way that a quality door can attract the attention of neighbors and buyers, it can deter the attention of burglars. The front door remains a common point of entry for home intruders. A door that looks old, flimsy, worn-out, and easy to breach is simply an open invitation to thieves. A strong, solid door, by contrast, is a powerful deterrent and gives your whole home the appearance of being locked down and carefully protected.
What am i saying? Emilinks brand of doors are not made using gold, but when you sight one, you will know that indeed, you have come in contact with a REAL DOOR. Please buy Emilinks today.

How I wish I could snap d bad doors I have encountered….. During my higher institution days..year 2000…. I encountered seriously bad doors… D two houses I lived, my room door was broken with just a punch by one boyfriend I met not up to a month dat brought his electronics to my room to show yeye love… I am from a rich family and had my electronics in my room cuz I like listening to music a lot dat time and den dre was ds students DVD as it was usually called, day I had,so wen it had fault he brought his own DVD but I didn’t like it cuz it wasn’t radio type….. So wen I travelled home without telling him and he came to check me and met my absence… He tot I was fooling him and broke my door and took his DVD and d radio he also brought…when I came back I met my door patched and asked my landlady what happened and she explained how she called police to arrest him wen he was doing it dat she cautioned him and he refused to answer her… So he was in d cell till I came …. I just told d police men to release him dat thank God he didn’t take mine with it…and dat was d end of the yeye relationship .. If I had known dat security door like Emilinks door matters a lot, I would have suggested to my parents a big house… My dad was annoyed and asked me to look for another house immediately dat was better. Which I did….ds second one was iron door but d bathroom door was Woody and being a bathroom,, water spat on it every day, gradually it started waring away and looking irritating to me.. I repainted severally cuz I couldn’t afford a quality door like Emilinks as I student and asides it’s a rented one room self-contained.. but it could not be like Emilinks Lailai.. Bad doors have injured many people. My friend recently moved into a new house. We were supposed to go party on that fateful day by 6pm. I waited for her i didnt see her. Then by 6pm I went to her house. I had extra key so I let myself inside. I shouted her name several times till I heard her crying. She was stuck inside her room because the door handle from inside stopped working. I couldn’t enter, I had to call guys around to break the door open. When she came out, she was speechless. To cut the long story short, the landlord had to buy a new door. Guess what! He bought EMI-SD1506090. He was lamenting because the bad door was recently installed. In this hard times, he would have just went for a strong door. He incurred extra cost because of cheap fake door. We all learnt a lesson. Always use lasting and durable materials! My friend is enjoying her new door.#Emilink #MyDoorStory #Day14

A door is a moving structure used to block off, and allow access to, an entrance to or within an enclosed space, such as a building or vehicle. Doors normally consist of a panel that swings on hinges on the edge, but there are also doors that slide or spin inside of a space. Similar exterior structures to doors are called gates .
Typically, doors have an interior side that faces the inside of a space and an exterior side that faces the outside of that space. In many cases the interior side of a door mostly matches its exterior side, but in some other cases there are sharp contrasts between the two sides, such as in the case of the vehicle door .
When open, doors admit people , animals ,
ventilation or light . The door is used to control the physical atmosphere within a space by enclosing the air drafts , so that interiors may be more effectively heated or cooled. Doors are significant in preventing the spread of fire . They also act as a barrier to noise . Many doors are equipped with locking mechanisms to allow entrance to certain people and keep out others. As a form of courtesy and civility, people often knock before opening a door and entering a room.
Doors are used to screen areas of a building for aesthetics, keeping formal and utility areas separate. Doors also have an aesthetic role in creating an impression of what lies beyond. Doors are often symbolically endowed with
ritual purposes, and the guarding or receiving of the keys to a door, or being granted access to a door can have special significance. Similarly, doors and doorways frequently appear in
metaphorical or allegorical situations, literature and the arts , often as a portent of change.

In 2011 when I had my first job, my boss then was this kind of guy who doesn’t listen to people under him, he hardly agrees with you even when you seem right, we the employees have always been complaining to him about changing the door to the conference hall, whenever the issue of changing the door was raised he overrules it immediately, one day we had a meeting in the hall, the meeting was very brief because he (our boss) wanted to travel, after the meeting he asked two of us to wait behind myself and the sales manager, the rest all went out and shut the door behind them.
We talked for about 25 minutes and then rounded up so he set out for his trip, on getting to the door he pushed it as usual but it didn’t give way, the door was a sophisticated door normally when you push it, it slides and gives way but it was bad and so sometimes you will have to struggle with it, we ( the employees) have had problems with it and complained but I guess it wasn’t important to our boss, so we started the drama, the two hours we spent trying to open it was all useless because non of us could, either from inside or outside. We were left with no option other than calling a professional who again spent about an hour before opening it, my boss missed his flight, he was so angry but had no one to blame, “I want Emilinks door fixed before I com back” he yelled, we all laughed while he left. That served him right I guess, but I learnt something which is to never underestimate a bad door.

The roles of doors in our various businesses
I shared this post last week on Facebook and iG so I want to share it now to my BN readers.
I work as a sales rep. In one of the road sides shop located in Benin.our goods are OK and original . but our front door facing the road side is not OK and looks substandard, the door is not just encouraging and some passerby’s always place their printed items in our wall and door ,infact the look of the door is bad .but we didn’t mind that side because we taught that since we have a protector and A cotten then we are good to go.
Earlier this month we manage to change the door to a new ,quality, shining door
Since then they has always been a diffrence , costumers have been coming and people no longer post rubbish in our doors and wall.
The thing that surprises me the most was
When two customer came inside the shop, one of them ask me if we newly open the shop this month? That she have been passing here and never noticed the shop.I was just surprise and speechless so when they finish buying and left I now sit down and talked to my self “so this is how we have been losing customers because of that formal bad door”
I thank God because I learnt my lessons about the roles of doors in the our shops/homes

    #Emilinks #MyDoorStory #Bellanaija – Day 14
She was my best friend. She was not meant to die but she did. What killed her was carelessness. Their kitchen door was poorly done that most times rats and cockroaches share in their meal. There were mornings when on going to the kitchen to warm their food only for them to discover that the soup has been washed by the mouth of a rat. The father was reluctant to change the door saying that he has already told the landlord of the problem.
On that fateful day, I had gone to see my friend and her family, on reaching their place, people gathered and some were wailing, looking further, I saw some people dressed in white like Eskimos. Most of the people I saw were in no mood to talk to me. What could have happened? I kept asking myself. A lady seating at the gate of the house on hearing the question and on seeing the confusion on my face told me what I wish never happened.
That my best friend is dead, I said it’s a lie. The lady told me that she has been having some severe headache and feverish condition and has been treating malaria for some time now not knowing that she has been suffering from Lassa fever until this morning when she was bleeding from the nose and mouth. The family had to rush her to the hospital but she died some minutes later. On further investigation on the cause of her death, they found out that what killed her was Lassa fever. The whole family was quarantined. The worst part is that i didn’t get to see the remains of my dear friend.
If only they had changed this door to Emilinks door, their life would not have turned out like it did.

What is the similarity between having bad door and a wayward girlfriend? Both breeds insecuruty. So came that fateful day, I hv had a long day, was already stressed out, too late to go home. I decided to book a guest house so to continue my supervisory job the next day. As I was about to fall into deep sleep, so did my phone beep, a message from my neighbour ahome which reads ” Bulgars are on the rampage, breaking into houses and carting away valuables, make sure your house is well secured”. Immediately, I remembered that my friend had come around a day before and forgot his gold plated I phone 6 in my room, which is expensive even before the Buhari regime. Immediately, I felt vulnerable and didnt have that assurance in my door. Immediately, I jumped frm my bed, got dressed up ready to go home at dead of night around 11:33. I was chrged twice the normal price for transport, sacrificed my sleep and risked my life all due to my fears
just to get home to notice that the bulgars didnt get to my compound. it was the next house they bulged. So I wasted my money and risked my life all due to insecurity and lack of trust in my door. Wish I had #emilinks as my door, I wouldnt have had to go through all that stress and risk. @EmilinksNG #Emilinks #MyDoorStory #Day13 “How is that even possible?,” thundered Ogun the god of iron and war. “you can’t what?” he asked Esu his companion looking bewildered and taken aback as if he could not comprehend Esu’s diction. “Well…” Esu sighed deeply, shaking his head still deep in thought. “I don’t seem to be able to open the door, no matter how hard I try I just can’t!” he declared with a sombre note of finality. Ogun’s face took up a sour look as he stared dumbly at Esu. “Bu,bu…but,” he stuttered. “you a whole god of trickery and wiles can’t open a door?, with all your tools, tricks and wisdom, u can’t pick a common lock?” “I’ve heard of doors like this,” Esu muttered under his breath. “But I never knew it could stop even a god.” He proclaimed remorsefully. Shaking his head at Esu who was still in shock, Ogun moved closer to the door in question placing his hands on it and sending his awareness deep into the intricacies and complexities of the door. As a god of iron, it was a very simple thing for him to sink his senses into any iron and gain an in-depth understanding of it in its whole totality. “I see” he said finally to Esu who was staring at him expectantly. “This is no normal door” he proclaimed. “Even I cannot open it. I guess mortals can enjoy peace and succor behind doors like this from your many children of evil intentions”. Ogun declared with a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. ” Evil?” Esu growled at Ogun menacingly, who just took it all in a stride without being self-conscious of Esu’s reaction. “By evil I guess I mean thieves, kidnappers, hired assassins and rapists to name a few.Ogun retorted. ” well who made this doors,” Ogun asked. “I think I might need to order some for my estate up there”. “My children are a necessary evil” Esu grumbled. He looked up sharply at Ogun who was staring back at him as intensely waiting for an answer to his question. “It’s Emilinks”. He mumbled. “Speak up, I can’t hear you!” Ogun declared in unconcealed irritation. ” I said Emilinks premium doors” Esu replied with resignation. “Hmm…Emilinks, Emilinks”. Ogun repeated engrossed in deep thought as he began to move off the building. ” I need to get one”. He said and disappeared, going off to wherever it is that gods go. ‪#‎Emilinks‬ ‪#‎MyDoorStory‬ #Day14

Bad doors are bad omen, objects of ridicule, caricature and opportunity wasters.
We once had a door in my place of work (a printing press) whose quality is far below standard, on this fateful day, a prospective customer who wanted to give us a big job involving huge amount of money came. In the middle of discussing business he discovered that he left his phones in his car and wanted to go and get it, as he was about to open the door, the door hinges fell off and in the process of pulling the door, it fell sideways hitting the man on the head. Chai! What an embarrassment! Though there was no visible injury on the man, he was disappointed and angry yelling at our CEO telling him to go for high quality doors rather than substandard and low quality doors, he angrily stormed out. What a loss! We lost a job involving hundreds of thousands just because of a low quality door. The door was later changed to a better door but not after creating a huge loss for us and leaving behind a deep scar in the heart of our business. Don’t wait for bad and substandard doors to deprive you of big opportunities in life, learn from this story and go for quality doors like Emilinks Doors. #Emilinks #MyDoorStory #Day14

    #Emilinks #MyDoorStory Day 14
It was the beginning of a new semester, and I was finally a freshman. Everything was in order; I was done with the registration. I had purchased all what i needed for the start of the semester. I had even made some new friends. But I had one problem and that was accommodation. The number of admitted freshmen was much higher than expected and so population of students in the university was more than could be managed. Thus, hostels in the school and off campus were occupied. Nevertheless, my dad promised to keep searching. Luckily for me, two of the few friends i had made offered to accommodate me in their self contain until I had my own place. I felt so relieved and glad because lectures were staying in couple of days. So I moved in the day before that. The gladness i felt turned into shock and worry when I saw the state of their doors. Security and privacy could not in the very least be ensured. The door leading into the house was riddled with what i think were holes resulting from a physical altercation in which the door was unjustly punctured and pummeled. It also had locks which were broken on the inside so anyone could burst in unannounced and with ease. I barely slept in that house, even after i had prayed. The bathroom door was out of its place, resting on the wall adjacent to it. One couldn’t even do his business in private, and I’m sure I would have something to say about the kitchen door if it had one. The first few weeks of that semester was practical hell for me until i got a call from my dad saying he had finally found a place. He came the next day and we went there together. The first thing i looked out for were the doors and I was not disappointed. These doors were too spectacular! These strong, firm, and polished doors furnished the whole house. I asked my dad which brand of doors these were. “Emilinks”, he said. Suddenly that glorious feeling of protection and safety was restored immediately after I moved in. All thanks to Emilinks. Thank you, Emilinks!

DAY 14 MY BAD DOOR SAGA
It is indeed a very bad feeling walking into your home only to realize that you have been robbed. Coming home after a long day at work, it was a shock to see our door wide open and even more disturbed to see everything upended

The thieves came in through the side door of my house which was bad and weak with a faint lock, they didn’t take much, but what they took was valuable. They had gone through our entire house and left it in total disarray. The cushions were searched for anything valuable and dresser drawers were pilfered. Though they went through all the drawers in my jewellery box, they left all my good jeweleries and my makeup box was left untouched but eight thousand three hundred and sixty naira (#8360) was stolen from my mum’s safe.

When it was time to file the insurance claim, we had none of the documentation we needed as it was all in the safe. Our list of valuables and insurance information were gone. This wouldn’t have happened if we had installed the Emilinks security door, Good doors guarantees our security and keeps our homes from thieves and intruders. A friend told me a funny story about the first time she used this walkway.
She was walking from one building to the other with
a co-worker. They pulled the handles that opened the
doors and went down the walkway. Upon reaching
the other end they again pulled the handles, but the
doors wouldn’t budge. Assuming the doors were
locked, they returned to the doors they originally
opened to enter the walkway. But when they tried to
pull open these doors, they wouldn’t open either.
They were trapped in the walkway between the two
    buildings!
My friend and her co-worker spent the next few
minutes trying to signal to people though the
windows in the buildings, but the people they
signaled seemed strangely reluctant to come to the
rescue. Finally, after trying the doors again, they
discovered they needed to push the doors rather than
    pull them.
There are two problems with these doors. The first
problem is that the handles are designed for pulling
rather than pushing. Doors designed for pushing
usually have handles with flat surfaces that look
easy to push and hard to pull.
T he second problem is that the two sets of doors
work in opposite ways. To pass through the walkway
you must first PULL open one set of doors and then
PUSH open the second set of doors.
M y friend has observed many other people getting
“trapped” in this walkway. While it makes for a funny
story, imagine if people unfamiliar with these doors
had to cross from one building to the other in an
emergency, like a fire. Then it could turn from a
    comedy to a tragedy.

“Wake up! Wake up!” I heard my mom screaming in despair. I could hardly move my eyelids to see through. I felt like I was in another world for some moment and I couldn’t help myself. I finally realised I was lying on the sofa,in the living room , topless and feeling dizzy. My mom was by my side, she seemed really worried, she had a glass of cold water in one hand which she had sprinkled on me and my pink T-shirt in the other hand which she used to continuously fan me.
I tried to get seated but she prompted me not to. I then asked :”what happened to me, mom? ”
She took a deep breath in relief and replied : ” you almost died o! ,if not for God… hmm! ”
I then moved my hand across my face as I felt much pain in my head, I discovered a huge bump had erupted on my forehead. I quickly said to her: “mom, look at my head! “. “I’ve seen it, dear “,she replied . ” the rickety door at the backyard had become too weak and it only needed you to slide violently for it to fall. And you did just that. Had I not warned you against smashing that door. You could have done it mildly but you would never listen, that heavy door falling on you should also serve as a punishment, I hope you’ll learn this time ” .
She would go on ranting all day so I closed my eyes feigning to sleep. She went on all the same : ” all this would not have happened had your dad also changed that door to an #emilinks door which would have been safer and more beautiful. He must have thought that door was not as important as the others, but all the doors in the house are and this now is an evidence to that fact. Now he’s waste no time in getting a new one when he hears about this ” she ended by dropping the glass on the table and my shirt on the sofa. She then when back to her cooking duties.
I was relieved she had gone but I still felt so much pain. I eventually recovered the following day and went to school where I had to face a. nightmare.this time it was my friends that were making fun of my swollen forehead-it was actually huge and forced me to wear a hood all day. I felt so much shame that I wish we had an #emilinks door at the backyard, before then. It could have saved me all the embarrassment, and the pain.
This story just tells us that all the doors in the house are important and they need to be considered in the same manner. Be wise, a stitch in time saves nine, they say.

I remember vividly back in secondary school before my parent had to transfer me. The school I guess they were eager to make money so they add lunch fee to our school fees.

We started getting served a very shallow(small) meal during the break no one had gut to complain but we always report the issue at home.
The situation got out of hand during the PTA meeting, I could see most parent threatening the school image and reporting them to ministry of education. The principal had to let the cats out of the bag by taking them to our cafetaria, our door had been damaged terribly which made cockroaches and rat destroy some of the food kept in the store.
The management later on changed the door despite that a lots of students left the school including me. If only they had bought emilinks door which gives 100% assurance
Hope they find out about Emilink super quality doors.

#MyDoorStory #Emilinks #Day14 .when was in secondary school, I lived outside the school premises. Before I got admitted in that school, my dad had gone there to secure an accommodation for me. After he might have seen a nice house, he came back to tell me that he will be going there with me so that he will show me the house which we did. The day i left for the school with my friend, my dad gave me my house rent asking me to pay it to my landlord unknown to him that I have my own foolish plan. On reaching there, instead of us going to the house my dad showed to me, we diverted to a friends room, packed our bags in her room, went out in search of cheaper room. Lucky enough we later found one. You know that cheap things always have K-leg. And this the case of the room we found which happend to be bad doors, windows and ceiling. As foolish as we both are, we uniformly said to ourselve “are we going to live here for eternity? Is it not to take our weac and neco exams”? Lets manage it. At least we can use the money that will remain to take care of ourselves” how stupid we were! Had i know always come at last… It dawned to us on the day some group of about four boys attacked our yard. But as lucky we were, we went to night prayer of Rev. Fr. Obayi that night. It was when we came back in the morning that we met our door which had been baptised by wood bittles and termites on the floor staring and smiling at we both like idiot. We started crying that was when a neighbour told not to cry rejoice and praise our Chi. We got confused and at the same time very furious. We managed to ask her what she meant. That was when she said that those armed robber raped every single girl in our compound. We started regretting why we took that dangerous decision. I have since then never go for cheap product. I have learnt that Emilinks products are costly but last for eternity. Cheap products always run belle. Our society should desist from this.

Knock and it shall be open, so says the Bible. But what if you decide to knock and no one opens? Well, take selfies while you wait for the door to open! They’re probably taking selfies too! Here’s what happened.
Kolade’s dad just completed his eight-bedroom duplex and I had been invited to visit one weekend. So, off I went!
I imagined the grandeur of the sitting room, the bar area, the games room and the jacuzzi just as Kolade had described it to me (the boy is a talker, by the way).
I pictured the exquisite hanging lights, got excited at the flooring and found myself delighted at the choice of paint and art work I knew would adorn the house (Kolade’s dad is not known to spare the cost at getting quality stuff). By now I was almost at the street leading to Kolade’s house.
Oh! How could I not be excited about the state-of-the-art electronics that Kolade said his dad acquired for their new house!?! Hmmm….which aspect of the house would thrill me the most, I thought to myself as I opened the gate.
But when I walked up to knock, I suddenly realized which – the door. Standing between the visitor outside and the house owners inside, the front door in Kolade’s house is an adornment indeed. It welcomes you by is beauty and assures you by its solidity, for when I tried to push my way in after wondering at its nature, the door wouldn’t budge. So I took the opportunity to position myself in front of the door, take out my phone and was about to take a selfie so my daddy could see a picture of the door he should use in his own building.
Then the door opens and Kolade’s dad says “Hello Paul! I see you’re already taking selfies. We’ve been taking selfies with the doors inside too, I just came to take a personal selfie with this door”.
It was the most interesting day. And it was all because of #emmilinksdoors

My dad was out for a job interview, so me and my sister had the place to ourselves for about 2 hours. I watched TV downstairs and went outside, and when I went back in, I locked the door & went upstairs and hung out with my sister for a while. I heard the front door open, and rummaging through cabinets as well. I just assumed that it was my dad, since he has his own personal keys & always likes to check everything is in place before relaxing. I also heard my dad’s door open and close, albeit slowly, a few times.

I was talking with my sister when the phone rang. To my surprise, it was my dad on the other end. He told me that he was going to be getting home late and that we needed to make our own dinners. It felt like my heart fell to my feet as he said. I realized that it wasn’t my dad that had entered the home.

I hurriedly rushed downstairs to see if everything was okay. Several things were gone, and the front door was wide open. I then heard what sounded like breathing, coming from the downstairs bathroom. I chocked the urge to yell as I saw a hand wrap around the door, and a face peer around my corner.

As soon as the guy saw me, he ran like hell out of there. I chased after him, but he was long gone. On the floor in the bathroom, I found later of all things, a boxcutter knife. I’m not sure what his intentions were with the weapon, but they weren’t good if anything. Cheap & less quality doors is not an option. #Emilinks doors is the safest & only solution in your home. #MyDoorStory #Emilinks

#Emilinks #MyDoorStory #Day14 In college I lived with my mom and aunt. We had a house on a hill in the woods. You had to drive up to get to the garage and the front yard sloped down to the left to expose all the floors of a pretty turret on the side of the house.
To get to the front door, you had to step onto a wooden walkway that followed along the whole left side of the garage. There was about four feet between the bottom of the walkway and the ground underneath at the door.

I got home late one night and saw my aunts light was still on. She was a night owl like me.

I pulled in, parked and walked up to the front door. It was dark but I could see there was something wrong with the doorknob. It was hanging out of the door and the screws were mostly out. I unlocked the deadbolt, locked it again and went upstairs to ask my aunt what had happened to the knob.

She was really confused and told me she had just been out there smoking and it was fine. I told her it was broken and she argued that she had literally been out there only a minute before and hadn’t even seen me pull in because she was still walking up the stairs to her room.

We both go back downstairs and I show her the door. Her face turned white and we realized that in the time between her shutting the door and me getting to it, someone had tried to break in buy pulling the locks out. We had many more instances after that with someone stalking us but never found out who it was. For the safety of your lives & properties look for a resilient, strong & quality door. #Emilinks doors is strongly recommended in houses, hospitals, shops & companies for better usage.

I stay in the hostel with my 3lovely roommates.
Our door always gave us problems. It never closes well and therefore gives opportunity for rats to come in. At least every week, we have have a rat or two.
The door even opens and closes by itself sometimes. When closing, it causes this very loud sound that gives my geeky roommate headache. We even woke up one night to the sight of the door opening and closing on its own!!! We were so terrified!
We complained and they changed our door to an Emilink door?. We were so happy, all our door problems are over.

    Day 14

The screams coming from the next compound could wake a dead man up. Though I didn’t know why the people living there were screaming neither did I understand what they were saying but I knew there was danger.
Dogs were barking ceaselessly. The shoutings were now becoming unbearable. My heart, pounding faster. “Robbers are at it again” I thought. I was afraid such that my lips were shaking. I couldn’t even talk to my self.
My boss had given me some amount of money realised from the day’s sales to pay into his account early the next morning before coming to the shop.
“Where in this room can I hide this money” I thought to myself. If these robbers collect this money from me, my boss will make sure I pay every dime. That means, little or no salary for me for the next 6-7months.
“Yes, I now know what to do”, I whispered to myself.
That was how I gathered all the nails I could find in my room and started nailing my door to its frame. From top, to sides to its button.
Before long, I had succeeded in imprisoning my self in what I thought I was protecting my self and my Boss’s money.
By the time I was done, the shouts had stopped.
But I still went to bed feeling a bit safe. By the time I woke up the next morning, it was already past 7am and also late. So, I hurriedly wore my clothes without taking my bath and was about to open my door.
Then I realised I was in a mess. I started struggling to remove the nails immediately, but I was only able to remove four nails in over two hours and I was already sweating profusely.
The next minute, my phone rang. As I grudgingly picked it up from my bed and looked at who was calling, I almost started crying. My boss was calling.
“Which kind yeye door be this na? Hey! I don enter wahala today o….” was all I could say, sweating from head to toes on a cold morning.

Working in a psychiatric hospital is fun but kinda risky as well. I had gone into one of the hospital rooms to serve the afternoon medication to my patient who had an affective disorder. The condition makes him to be delusional sometimes, he was not what you would call dangerous but notwithstanding, I was still very much afraid…Abeg, mental disorder is mental disorder, period! So, I left the door open behind me. He had this wide sheepish smile on his face as though he knew a secret I did not but I just ignored him. On getting his bottled water to give him the drugs,he deftly slipped behind me and closed the door! OMG! A thousand different thoughts rushed into my head as to what he could do to me, seeing there was no one around to rescue me. I practically flung his drug at him,walk-ran to the door and tried to open it. i was yanking so hard in my frantic desperation that the door handle came off! (This was a new door for Christ sake, and the third one at that!). Hearing some movement behind me, I quickly turned to look for a weapon to defend myself, only to see my patient on the floor, on one knee, with the square-ish room bell shaped like a ring box, the sheepish smile on his face, asking me to marry him! I quickly explored my options in my brain…say no and incur his wrath(a lot of terrible actions could follow) or say yes and pacify him (he will forget this incident by tomorrow) In order to avoid stories that touch, i had to tell him yes and took the bell. He gladly jumped to his feet, sauntered to the door, brandished a spoon from his pocket to crack the door open, and I made my escape! Phew! I hurriedly ran to the hospital administrator to demand for another new door, and this time,i made sure they got Emilinks doors known for its quality and durability!

    MY BAD DOOR,MY BUSINESS
Wonders shall never end, if God wants to bless you he doesn’t need to take permission from your neighbor or any man.Who will believe that my door will become a sort of beautiful back drop for the prettiest of babes and guys in town. Early on Tuesday morning this week, after my morning prayer, I came out and saw a well dressed lady taking some photo shots in front of my door, snaping was normal but at this early hours of the morning I knew something was behind this, so I asked her the reason behind this early morning pictures.
“Madam no vex o, e get one Emilinks premium quality door competition wey dey go on now for internet, them say snap for a bad door and write a story or a comment about your bad door and you go win #10,000 if your story make sense, so that why I come here because nah only your house get this kind bad door for this area.” I felt like slapping her for calling my door bad but on a second thought, I reasoned business, so I immediately asked her to pay for the background, she laughed but I maintained a serious face and said “100 naira is not too much so pay fast, After all if you win you won’t remember me”.when she saw how serious I was, she started a bargain and we agreed on 50 naira per shot, so she paid me 100 naira for 3 shots, I gave her one shot for free as my first customer.
Immediately, I brush my teeth and sat outside waiting for more customers and God has been faithful my customers are coming and since I have 4 of such doors my customers are satisfied, I needed 12,000 niara for my son who wrote this story for me he came back this morning because of school fees, all I have is two thousand naira from my recent door photo business, so when he came home, I said “son let’s tell our own door story, maybe your school will come from here”, he said “mama but which door story”, I pointed at some of my customers and said, ” you see all this peopIe snapping with our door, they want to write a story that might win #10000 for them from one competition in the internet, so since am the real owner of these door, at least let me write of my recent door business and thanks to God you came back so get your big phone”, and I beckoned on one of our customers to tell us the procedures for the competition, she did, I did the telling and my son did the process of writing and sending.( photo: Me and one of my Customers) Smiles..

As innocuous as they may seem, bad doors have the potential to damage properties and inflict injuries on people. I know this because I once had a bad door experience where a door that was supposedly top quality split in half when a stray biker hit it. Fortunately, I was a few yards away from the door when it happened. My neighbour whose door was damaged called the furniture company, but their number was switched off. Browsing through the internet for furniture about a week ago, I came across Emilinks. That’s where I saw the Pure Solid Wood option under the Internal Doors category. I was impressed by how the products are well sorted for easy reach and how the features of the doors are highlighted. They have at least FOUR(!) customer care lines. Most of all, I loved how the designs were a perfect blend of timeless class and contemporary appeal; there is no compromise! On my quest for durable furniture, I discovered Emilinks, where I also discovered that it’s possible to retain quality without compromising on style. So, I strongly recommend Emilinks’ doors, because I can assure you that you can sleep without worrying about half of your door flattening your head like mine was almost flattened. Infact, even The Incredible Hulk will have a hard time with it. Thanks for reading, guys.

Another story of Armed Robbery in the neighbourhood , the robbers effortlessly broke our neighbour’s bullet proof door, beat him to pulp and took all his valuable possessions.
They took down a bullet proof door without effort, what will happen if they come to my house, with this my wooden door.
I went on the Internet and searched for affordable and reliable doors. In all the results I found the name Emilinks, I had heard about it from a friend who gave a testimony in church about it. I will do whatever I can to get it.

Some Doors are beautiful, looking at them you would wish you had such doors, but are bad in functioning. such doors only remind me of the saying, “”Never Judge a Book by its Cover”
I will never forget My experience with a Beautiful door in my work place. i arrived the office, and went straight for our normal Morning Devotion in the office.
It was raining heavily that fateful day. i already soaked from the Rain because the umbrella i was with couldn’t even shield me from the rain, i had to put the Umbrella away and ran in the rain. i Was Pressed, while at the devotion, others where singing i was dancing. i couldn’t hold it anymore, i ran to the nearest Toilet, when i got there i couldn’t believe it, some one was in there, i ran upstairs to the Admin Toilet, i reached for the handle to open it, it refused to open, i tried to force it, the handle became stiff and fell off, i didn”t know what to do, the Urine was already coming out, while i struggled with the door, my Colleagues where done with Devotion, i didn’t know that my Admin Manager was behind me while Urine came down my Legs just then i heard his Voice saying ”That Door is Bad” why not use my Toilet. Embarrassed and ashamed, i walked past him to his toilet. Then i thought to myself how can such a beautiful door be Bad.

Every long school vacation, the children (mine and siblings) usually spend the holiday with one of us. It was my turn last year and as usual my nephews and niece came to our house for the holiday. This usually excites my little son as they would automatically become his playmates.
They would play around the house most especially hide and seek. One Saturday, they were playing hide and seek, and then my son decided to hide inside the wardrobe. Immediately he closed the wardrobe door, it became stuck/jammed. Some minutes later when they couldn’t find him, they came and told us ( I and wife). Immediately, we started looking him only to discover he was stuck inside the wardrobe. The door handlle and key hole was damaged and once it is shut tight, it can not be opened. We had always neglected the wardrobe door thinking it wasn’t important. We tried to open the wardrobe door but it couldn’t open. My son was already crying and we were panicking as well. We quickly called the carpenter who had to break down the door before he could come.
That was when we knew all doors were important. The next day we called and ordered for an #Emilinks door for our wardrobe and it was installed. Today we are still using the wardrobe and we have not had any issue.

Like we all know without the heart the body cannot work so likewise without the kitchen a house is not yet complete.Few months ago I went to visit my aunt, she just came back from mecca and a party was organized for her.So a whole lot of persons came visiting both those that were invited and those that were not..The house was filled to the brim. All kinds of dishes were prepared.. Just think of any dish it was in the kitchen and the foodstuffs that was left were all in d kitchen,so the kitchen was closely monitored and I was in charge. The kitchen was located at the back of the house.I decided to go greet some visitors while coming back to the kitchen I saw a lady trying to open the kitchen door and I asked what she was looking for,she started mumbling and she left. After a while I left again and I locked the kitchen door but on coming back I saw this same woman but with a man this time trying to force my aunt’ kitchen door open..they were struggling. I didn’t go close to them but was smiling from afar..You might think that was silly but NO!I knew the kind of doors in the house, they are all Emilinks doors and I knew they couldn’t force that door open unless they used a bulldozer.I later walked straight to them and warned her critically that if she doesn’t leave the premises as at that very moment she’ll regret the day she was born because I was going to let the world know who she was..a THIEF!All she was saying was madam sorry and she hurriedly left. That was how our good Emilinks kitchen door saved me from hoodlums who called themselves neighbors. If it wasn’t for our good Emilinks kitchen door I would have been in deep trouble since I was placed in charge of the kitchen. I came to realize the importance of a good kitchen door. All thanks to Emilinks.
