Captain E, who is the youngest music producer and sound engineer in Africa, turned 18 on the 20th of August 2016 but celebrated with family and friends before he jetted out to the US on the 16th.

The party was tagged Teens Pop Culture (Fashion & Music) and his superstar mum, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde explained she wanted to encourage teenagers to get to know themselves, remain as, and enjoy their teenage years without growing too fast.

The party was held at The Bridge in Lekki Phase1 and had many celebrities like Sound Sultan, Ice Prince, Mike Ezuruonye, Patoranking, Waje, Kayla Oniwo, Rukky Sanda, Denrele Edun, Tola Odunsi, Mo’Eazy, producers DelB, Chopsticks, as well as teens from The Voice Nigeria, DNA Twins and Dewe who sang a happy birthday tune.

For our BNers asking about Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde’s style, the Nollywood actress and her daughter Princess both wore Iconic Invanity and DNA by Iconic Invanity respectively. They were styled by MoAshy Styling.

Captain E’s first outfit was styled by MoAshy and his second by Tiannastyling.

There were also fashion shows with models from Isis models during the party.

See the official photos below.

Small time Ijaw men go jump enter water like fish, See swimming for Olympics, ZERO medal for Nigeria. Igbo man go dey tumble for Atilogwu, see gymnastics for Olympics, no entry. Hausa man go enter boat dey shout Argungu Fishing Festival, See Rowing at the Olympics, ZERO medal for Nigeria. Fulani herdsmen fit shoot arrow from 1km kill anyone wey wan steal dem cow, Olympics reach, make dem go do Archery dem no gree show face. Yoruba man will remove clothes, wrist watch and pant to fight at Ojuelegba. See boxing at the Olympics, zero medal. The one wey vex me pass na Warri people.
Warri man go say Warri no dey carry last……wetin Blessing Okagbare, our own Warri girl carry for 100m Olympic finals?

I see a whole lotta name dropping no actual talent on display. The adage empty vessel comes to mind. Wiz kidd, olamide etc all talented artist made it to the top of their game without their mummy’s blowing their trumpet. Clarence peters Ace producer well known parents. We actually came to know bout him through his talent. My advise , cut that hair it does absolutely noting for you .Let your talent make noise and hustle for you not mummy and daddy.

    • Someborry

      August 21, 2016 at 8:31 pm

You might want to research him. He’s not a singer . He’s a producer. That kid won a major world contest in production at the age of 16 or so with other international producers on display. He was also the youngest and only one from Africa, actually the empty vessel adage sounds more like you. Do your reserve before typing out of jealousy.

@Cindy, let’s face it, society is harsher on women than men. Baby mama is derogatory. Baby daddy is swag. Women bear more of the consequences

  13. Jared

    August 21, 2016 at 5:38 pm

Nigerians are bitter mehn. I can’t deal. The boy’s a producer . He works on other talent’s works and a lot of it was played that night. Very cool stuff. They are just teenagers and most of them are doing great stuff but you bitter old no one knows you will use your badbelle to troll them. Abeg Happy birthday JARE CaptainE you are obviously a confident young man and I wish you well.

  14. Victoria

    August 21, 2016 at 5:56 pm

Wow looks like so much fun. Now this is how to be teenagers. Decently dressed and clean looking kids. This should be continued. I like the part omotola said she dosent want them to grow so fast. That’s very important. This should be supported. I recognize princess ( wow, she’s so beautifullllll) and Waje’s daughter another beauty Queen! Where is Meraiah? Or ain’t they 4? Happy birthday CaptainE. He looks like a kid that knows exactly where he’s heading. Fresh kids.

Everyone is not DOING things for fame. They already have it. If your life is not worth celebrating then hush and watch others! Negative soul

People should learn to either mind their business or appreciate others. What is bad in throwing a birthday party for an 18 yr old. if u r famous and rich in the US, u gat to parry hard on your 18th. Mind u its an innocent birthday party, his parents are there so its not like its an underG kinda thing, and from the pictures the party looks age appropriate, no trashy girls and nonsense makeup or drag queen dressing.
But Captain E, let that dreadlock go abeg. it looks HORRIBLE, and its causing an eye sore. Not judging u though.

I see a lot of Nigeraians write terrible things about Rich kids. Is it their fault their parents are famous and rich ? Haba. Same thing they did to temi and cully otedola etc… Now captainE and waje’s daughter. Bitter souls some of you are. Most of these kids are even more humble and hardworking than most of you.

    Thee was shisha? ??
Men. ..Some of us can’t do some things in the presence of our parents even when we are 40….to think the parents paid for that…. wow, civilization good o…

    • Passing-by

      August 23, 2016 at 3:46 pm

@changing moniker thank you… Finally someone mentions the fact that there was “shisha” at an 18yr olds birthday. Rich, famous or not, what are his parents encouraging? Tomorrow, if the dude, or any of the other children/teenagers, starts to weed or do serious hard drugs, parents will start crying & running helter-skelter from one prayer house to another… There’s nothing wrong with throwing a great bash for our children, but we should be careful what we expose them to… Just my one cent
