Ooni of Ife to Grant Record Deals to Youths at the ‘Ojaja II Musical Talent Hunt and Concert’

The Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), will on Saturday, September 10, host the Ojaja II Musical Talent Hunt and Concert at the Palace ground in Ile-Ife through which smiles will be put on the faces of tens of thousands of youths from across the country who are expected to be present.

Alhaji Rotimi Osobe, the Project Director of Nuff Jamz Entertainment, the organizers of the event described ‘Ojaja II Musical Talent Hunt and Concert’ as another gargantuan step taken by Ooni Ogunwusi toward his vision for the socio-economic liberation of the youth, which in turn will drastically reduce crime rate not only in Ile-Ife but also in the entire Country.

“Kabiyesi is so much passionate about the youth development that he has supported this project so heavily as a very gargantuan step towards liberating the youth of Ife and Nigeria socially and economically. We believe this is a way of addressing the restiveness in the youth giving them a reasonable sense of belonging and giving them a platform to contribute meaningfully in the forwardness of the Nigerian Society,” he said.

The C.E.O of Nuff Jamz entertainment, Dennis Olasoji, said a brand new car, a recording deal in USA, a recording deal in Nigeria and several consolation prices are to be won by the seven finalists shortlisted from the 856 registered contestants who earlier took part in the auditioning and screening exercise two months ago.

The event will have TY MIx, Puffy Tee, Biano Efubi, Indomix, and Fliptice Beat as judges, while the popular artistes like 9ice, Seriki, Tjan, and Ara, who is also the Ooni’s cultural ambassador will perform as special guest Artistes.
