BN TV: Some Kids try to Beat Blessing Okagbare in a Race for Gold | WATCH Bollylomo at the Sport’s Clinic
BollyLomo of BattaBox put on his running shoes and hit the Agege Stadium track for a day of sprinting, sprinting and more sprinting!
He was joined by representatives of First Bank PLC, Lagos State Sports Commission, Integral, Olympic and World Championships medalist, Blessing Okagbare, an ambassador for the sports clinic and lots and lots of excited children ready to take part in a day of sporting fun!
The sports clinic teaches kids to explore their athletic abilities by taking part in sporting activities like sprinting, long jump, hurdles and much more and yes, BollyLomo got involved in the action, bravely racing Blessing…
“I am very happy to have won the 100 metres,” BollyLomo jokes.
“Hey…shake me…LOSER!” Blessing gloats after beating BollyLomo in the race.
The overall message of the sports clinic?…That young children should follow their dreams no matter how different that dream may be from everyone else’s and you never know, you could just be the next Blessing Okagbare, Olusoji Fasuba or Chioma Ajunwa!
“The sports clinic helps the kids feel like their talents are recognised and it helps them to build on what they have…which is something I didn’t have growing up,” Blessing said.
“If they want to do track, they should take it seriously, they should dwell on it…it helps them to grow,” she added.
